A woman is incomplete and has no place value without a man.you might have all the money and all the luxury but without that man who u can look up to as a husband u are a nobody.Feminist indeed.if only these woman knows she can give birth to fine sons then she will change her thoughts.
Usually I try not to respond to ignorant and nauseating comments as this but I'll have to make an exception. You really need to rid your mind of all that trash you posted up there. There's a reason why assisted conception is now thriving, women don't physically need men to make babies anymore, there are sperm banks all over the place today. Often times the nairaland anti-feminist ewarriors are tge ones that utterly have nothing to offer these women are the ones that hold onto that self-entitlement of being head of the house, lord of the family bullcr.ap...P.S If you really think all the women who are married to husband's in your entire family are "somebody" compared to Genevieve Nnaji then your case is indeed helpless.

All of you that have typed crap in response to her feminist stand are mad! I mean, you all are really mad! If she had said she doesn't support the feminism move, you all would have sang her praises and how much of sense she's got, now that she doesn't, she's either heartbroken, unhappy, or frustrated, whereas, her life is a reflection of a happy woman. Why can't some of you look up "feminism" on google before going about with this misconception of what it is? Ignorant, insecure things!
Nigeria is really in serious trouble....I hope all of this idiocy exhibited on Nairaland is not a reflection of the youth population in Nigeria if not we are truly doomed. Ignorant lots everywhere I tell you .

The child was obviously a victims of a 419 "bone setter"

Genuine traditional bone setters are a blessing to humanity. I remember back in the days when I broke my leg as a child, my mother took me to one of these bone setters the following day. The way that woman expertly arranged my bones and aligned them in order was heavenly. She knew where each bone was located and which should be on top of which. Coupled with an ointment, my fracture healed in less than a week and a new callus formed.

It is sad that in this age of information Nigerians still address natural phenomenons with mystical perceptions. One of the toxics of mysticism.
Seriously you called this transgender...Smh.....you need enlightening yourself.

Your meaningless rant depicts you as a person who is at war with common sense.

If Saraki is desperate, what would you call Buhari? An old and miserable man who sought the presidency three good times and failed, and eventually sought power again and got it in his 70s, and now want another term to rule into his 80s even though he is clearly senile and has nothing to offer.
This just sums it up

Mark my word or comment today, "Surrogate mother" will eventually be ban or regulates in Western countries.

Some scientific discoveries cannot be totally effective withiout nature, read wide please.

This has nothing to do with with being shallow...

I can bet u bro, if this high number of persons were killed in the USA and the USA national team were to play a match few days later at the world cup, I am sure, a sign or two, to show respect and call for international awareness, would have been observed.

I repeat, many in Nigeria are really out dated. We dont know how to handle issues. Few people died in France few months ago, almost everyone started, their yeye identification with the victims in France. People even had a dedicated DP on facebook for that. I mean, our leaders and the masses.

Now, more people died in Nigeria, and almost everyone is acting like nothing happened. As we speak, a christain girl is missing with Boko haram. It is becus of people like u that our govt dey use us play.

Like I always say, no matter how rich u are, except u leave this country, the uselessness of this country may catch up with u. It is when u are raped, killed, attacked, ur stuff stolen, etc, that u go understand that the country is messed up and we need to speak. I used to think having money and living a comfortable life is all I need here, until I was robbed recently.

Na when one day, u wake up, hear sey, war don break out, ur eyes go clear. we play too much in nigeria.
I am so happy a few people are still sane in this country.....Over a hundred killed and a minute silence was not held in their honour before the match....We really don't value human lives in Nigeria

WHY IS IT THAT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS NOT INTERESTED IN BUYING COFFIN TO BURY THIS UNFORTUNATE VICTIMS OF FULANI HERDSMEN CRISIS.

They just dump their body into mass grave.

When our girls died in Italy, Europe they were buried with coffins by the Italian government.

IT IS A DISHONOUR TO THE DEAD TO HEAP UP THEIR DEAD BODIES INTO THE BARE GROUND WITHOUT COFFIN.

It is part of the I DO NOT CARE ATTITUDE OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

This victims of fulani herdsmen crisis deserve a beffiting burial which the federal government of Nigeria and the Plateau state government including the local government is in a position to give to them either jointly or single handedly.
You just took the words right outvof my mouth....Even in death Nigeria still failed them...

Shame on all of you, Ojukwu died as a runaway coward, Kanu is on the run, what does that tell you, God is on the side of Nigeria, that is why Nigeria won the war against lying Biafra with support from World council of Churches and all other propaganda organisations. HealthRe: Multiple Stones Removed From A Lady's Bladder (Graphic Photo) by Gregdcutie(m): 3:54pm On Oct 21, 2017
OmoOsanyin:
Thank God for you.

The stones however could also have been removed from the gall bladder successfully, painlessly, within 48 hours without surgery. You also get to keep your gallbladder which of course has its function, hence God put it there.

Most doctors home and abroad are not equipped with The Noble Art of Medicine.
Generally you have medical practitioners, however few, very few know the art of medicine.
This also includes most traditional medicine practitioners.

I tell people that if ill, do not pray for the hospital or clinic with most sophisticated equipments and fancy building coupled with media support and praise, etc. But to pray God guide them to a practitioner with the gift and knowledge of the true Art of Medicine even if such person has never stepped in the grounds of a medical school.

The true physician is he that can heal or cure dis-ease without butchery.
The use of the knife for treatment is super especially when its an emergency and life threatening. But most surgeries aren't necessary with knowledge.

From the moment any body part is removed by surgery, though the patient heals, the body functions in deficit, tasking other organs to work extra which may with time also wear them out.

Most importantly, the body produced the dis-ease. It thus have learnt how to do this from within. While surgery as already touched on plays a most crucial service, including buying time and prolonging life, it however doesn't address the source and cause of the dis-ease in the first place.

With time and favoring conditions, it's only practical to think the body may reproduce the disease in same place or a different location, with probably different name and symptoms, but with same original unaddressed source and cause.

May God guide us all accordingly and watch over us.
See all the nonsense this one is spewing

No she hasnt but she has been to FMC, Owo but i dont know if FMC counts as a reliable, efficient and competent hospital. Thanks for the advice, i will let her know.
FMC is reliable. it is a medical residency training hospital but even at that if they have tried for so long and the condition seems to be deteriorating, I'll suggest if it's not too much trouble to take her to another teaching hospital, say LUTH or UCH for instance, these hospitals sometimes have cases referred from other teaching hospitals across Nigeria. #God'sspeed

Ayokunlemi96:
I have read every single comment on this thread. Read how people miss their moms and dads, well my both parents are alive but my mom has been sick for the past two years. She has this pain in her right leg, we thought it was rheumatism but it wasn't, she was told to shed weight which she did. Stop eating this and that, stop doing that and those, be exercising all of which she has been strictly adhering to until it seems the story is the same. Three weeks ago i wanted to leave home as well as my younger brother too, she came into our room with tears in hear eyes and told me to give up the idea of running a business cos it is risky as my father is a failed businessman and she has borne the weight of breadwinning. She said the sickness with her was not getting any better and if she dies she wants my younger to finish schooling and not suffer as well as myself not to beg people to survive. At this point i couldn't hold my tears cos i have never thought of not having a mother and all she has been doing suddenly flashed before me. She was crying and talking and i wished i could command the sickness out of her but i couldn't rather i broke down in tears, first time in over ten years i would cry and it became a weeping frenzy as my younger brother joined in.

I still spoke with her yesterday, i dont want her dead, i have fasted and i pray for her i just want her hale and hearty again. She has been a strong woman. Thinking of loosing her creeps me out and gives me goosebumps. They are scariest moments.
Hope you don't mind me asking but has your mum presented to a teaching hospital in Nigeria, I am a medical student and believe you me most of the consultants in these teaching hospitals handle the most difficult of cases. I pray the Divine Merciful Jesus comes through for your mum.
Nairaland GeneralRe: What's The Most Traumatic And Scariest Event You Have Ever Witnessed? by Gregdcutie(m): 2:26am On Oct 04, 2017
This thread literally left me in tears praying and thanking God for my family and how he's kept us thus far. My mum refers to him (in igbo) as onye nche anyi. I pray that these afflictions will never rise a second time. I pray his healing hands come upon everyone that has shared these stories. I pray he comforts us and our families and in all things that God will be for us Romans 8:31.
