Even though I'm a born again Christian, I think we Christians should be ashamed of ourselves for heating up the polity unnecessarily. We Christians and Muslims should understand that Nigeria do not revolve around our both faiths. We have traditionalist and nonbelievers who have been politically marginalized all this years without been given any sort of consideration. There is nothing bad in having a Muslim/Muslim ticket if we truly care about the development of our country. We have had a Christian VP In Osinbajo for almost 8 years, how has it helped we Christians?

Let's stop condemning our Muslim brothers and sisters for political gains. We Christians and Muslims are one. In Nigeria, non-indigenes rarely vote. I have seen it play in multiple states. Whether it is Akure or Kano or Jos, people who are not indigenous in the area are usually warned to stay indoors on election day. You can go and ask Igbos in Kano if they have ever voted before. Infact, they travel back to the village to rest during elections.

This is the biggest mistake they are making, because, as long as democracy remains the game of number and the rule of the majority, Muslims will always determine who becomes the president of Nigeria, which no amount of insults, blackmail or threats can alter.

So, if the majority decides that they will vote for only one-faith ticket, the minority cannot do anything about it but curse, shout and wail.

In our living memory, we sawa Muslim-
Muslim ticket win a national election, but can't remember any about a Christian- Christian ticket.

So, align with the majority or perish in anger and frustration.

Instead of making Forex available through Banks all, I am advocating for it to make Forex available through the BDC. Right now BDC scarcity is dictating exchange rate for the country. CBN rate to banks is @ 416 which indirectly should have been the official exchange rate. Sale to BDC @ 450 then you see exchange rate drop to 550 which will be better than 700

Islam has been in Ikirun, Osun state as far back as 16th century. Islam entered Oyo empire as far back as 14th century. The first mosque in Oyo ile was built in 1550. Islam is as indigenous as Yoruba. That's why you'll see all those grandfathers being Muslims.

You may not know that there are lots of Arabic in Yoruba language, it shows how far the religion has integrated into Yoruba. Majority of Obas in Yoruba land today are Muslims especially Osun, Oyo, Ogun and Lagos.

Islam is the religion that suffered a lot in the hands of the traditionalist, cos Muslims were the first external religion to preach to them.

How i wish the Arabs who own Islam are proud of you as you are proud of their religion.
