Ttalk: My grouse with Obidients is elevating mediocres into the status of excellence.
Why didn't Obi construct 2nd Niger Bridge even if it's with PPP arrangement where it would be tolled and increase the IGR of the state since the congestion on the Niger Bridge would make building alternative bridge a good investment?
Secondly what blinds Obi eyes to see the potential of turning the waterside across Niger bridge to sight attraction. Few skycrapers well structured with business offices would have given the state a huge image boost and attract investment.
Seriously Obi is in the category of Yahaya Bello, Obi killed Anambra potential, there's no pancake that would turn a monster to mermaid The bridges connecting Lagos island to Main land was built by Tinubu. Even the name Lagos was coined by Tinubu. Whilst he was governor, Obi did what he saw as best for his people. You as a matter of fact is a non entity and can't tell him what to do. You are hot wired to oppression, PPP like thr Lekki toll gate that made you Lord kill Nigerian youths. You are just pathetic. |

Even if Tinubu lose next year, a Yoruba Muslim will still become president before an Ibo man can ever grace that seat in a democracy.
So I would rather someone with true political power threaten me than someone below me. As an igbo hasn't ruled Nigeria how wealthy have you become You are just a like stupid fellow who doesnt mind if he suffers so long as some other person(s) who doesn't care about your existence doesn't have peace. Foreign Affairs › Re: Africa Still Under Colonialism - France Still In Charge Of Many Countries by Greyworld: 3:25pm On Jul 11, 2022 |
JASONjnr: Lol... The language is to enable them have easy communication to keep stealing from Africa...
You don't seems to understand what this means...
If Nigeria decides to make the changes, the colonial people will stop their allies from patronizing Nigeria... Facebook will cut their connection. Even MTN will cut us off...
Infact, just like what's happening to Russia... Sanctions upon sanctions... Until Nigeria begs to do their biddings..
That's why, they colonize using allies... My using Nigeria is just a reference, the post is AFRICA and by that I believe the post meant the Entire Black Africa. That being said, I still believe that Africa's under development is 80% our fault and 20$ on the west. Let's see smtin using Nigeria we both are familiar with, in 1979 the NECOM house (Nigeria) was the tallest building in west Africa and one of the tallest in the entire Africa, in 2022 I believe its still the tallest in Nigeria ( Do you get the point) African are just self centered and its reflective in how things are today. Truth is the West at this time dont care if we have 24/7 electricity or clean water or good road they may want raw materials at cheap rate and a market to sell their goods but if African leaders are half as sincere as they should they would make good deals for their people... Another Example is China, I dont like the Chinese but before 1945, they had no stake in global politics, but were able to spin things round today. The west didn't give them that privilege, they took it. We don't have to go against the West straight up but at least we should have favorable conditions, social amenities and stuff. In regards to thr francophone Countries I believe they enjoy easy access to France also hence they prefer the status quo. France was going to fight Nigeria on behalf of Cameroon over Bakassi peninsula. |

No body is holding Africans. They are allergic to development.
Even the colonial language should be a plus if we are sensible cos, it has aid transactions between different ethnicities which ordinarily has different languages.
A typical Nigerian can't communicate with a Ghanaian if not for English so why not build upon the advantages of colonial presence and move forward other than blame the west.
See the kinda person's struggling to rule Nigeria , see Cameroons Paul Bida, compare with the western leaders... imagine a 42 years old Kemi (female Nigerian) vying for British PM....

grandstar: Atiku can't win. I'm apolitical but if I was to choose a favorite, it would be him.
Peter Obi may be good in cutting costs but I doubt he has any policy to grow the Nigerian economy like a lion- 8-10% annual growth rate. He also achieved little in increasing tax revenues in Anambra state.
It was Obiano that not only increased the revenues but also attacked the high crime rate in Onitsha.
For Atiku, his 2 biggest headaches are that he's bound to lose any advantage in the Southeast or Southsouth due to his potential voters flooding into Peter Obi's camp. He will have to fight for votes in the North but he's discredited due to Obasanjo's never ending utterances about his then vice opportunistic and desperate antics.
The only candidate I see winning is Tinubu. He has the Southwest in his grip. He is bound to enjoy Buhari's endorsement which will grant him a strong showing in the North (though Buhari's goodwill is dropping). Buhari has no will not to talk about being good. |
