MrPresident1:
TSA has sucked life out of the banks, yet it is being bandied as an achievement. TSA has taken liquidity, the lifeblood that is pumped by the banks and which flows in the veins and arteries of our economy, TSA has taken it away. Liquidity that should flow through banks is warehoused in CBN vaults. Nigerian banks are stressed.

Everywhere in the world, government money is a source of vital liquidity into the economy so consumers can buy goods which will further stimulate production, or importation. This is not the case with Nigeria, TSA has mopped the money, and as far as I know, despite the signing of the budget in May, capital votes have not been released to MDAs., so no money anywhere.

The Nigerian economy is being programmed to die, which explains this government's first year of COMPLETE INACTIVITY(except lies and propaganda). The economy would have died much earlier but its resilience and complexity was underestimated. If you cannot see the pattern yet, I am sorry for you, you are wilfully blind. TSA, Delayed ministers, delayed budget, delayed release of budgetted capital allocations, nothing absolutely nothing is going on in health, power, agriculture etc.

Repent and seek God, these are end times.

The person that took the picture of that baby while on the grass must have some screws loosed in his head. He took the picture and let the dog carry the baby to some place where they made him up immediately. Shitty bloggers. Been seeing this picture everywhere

it's a shame. I bite myself everyday for not going to Joe marine. All this could have been avoided.
The issue of Coc is even a problem from nimasa. Coc now is once yearly which was previously 3 times. So u can see why am frustrated.
Just be patient and hope that the result will be released just in time for coc nxt yr. The Nigerian govt keeps complaining about lack of technical know how in the offshore industry but look at how long it will take an average student to become ordinary 2nd officer. Most of my friends have abandoned the career and are towing a different career path already

U should have gone to joemarine jeje o! Anyway u have to be patient till the results come. The management of the school is not something to make this country proud. Imagine its the only maritime school in the whole world that i know is running only one coc batch every year.

Look at these ones dragging oil field locations as if one naira from those fields have ever entered their pocket. BTW Agbami has never been offshore Lagos except Lagos has changed position on the Nigerian Map.

I am in a position to know by virtue of training and trade. Am not an ignoramus in the business. When I tell u that the refineries haven't reached their shelf life yet, I know what am talking about.
Place them in the market for sale and see willing investors willing to buy up. Why will they want to do that if they are scrap?
Okay Sir.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Crisis: New Underground Crude Supply Line, A Sign Of Change In Progress by groovie(m): 6:59pm On Apr 25, 2016
Tokety7:

U know this based on engineering studies or figments of imagination? Which of the two please? Far older refineries still work profitably well, why should ours be an exception?
I dont make statements based on imagination when we are all doing critical analysis on issues that can move the country forward. If you have further knowledge u can enlighten everybody. This is what i have experienced and have also gathered from people who know.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Crisis: New Underground Crude Supply Line, A Sign Of Change In Progress by groovie(m): 3:13pm On Apr 25, 2016
Tokety7:

Very foolish and senseless talk. The world's oldest refinery commissioned in 1901 is still in operation till date. Put the right set of people in control, give them the enablement and see them work wonders.
If the private sector can "resurrect" them to profitability, then it's plain silly for anyone to say they are outdated.
One of our blunders in recent times was the reversal of the sale of these refineries to Dangote and co by obj. If Yaradua had allowed it to be, do u think Dangote would have allowed what he purchased with his own money to rot away?
Our refineries are still top notch. Just one or two retrofitting and we are good to go. Deal with it.
Bro no amount of retrofitting can make those refineries work efficiently. The amount that will be used to retrofit can build a standard refinery today

Safer? Yes but which is faster and more efficient?
we dont need any faster and efficient means if it will be vandalized 2 weeks after commissioning.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Crisis: New Underground Crude Supply Line, A Sign Of Change In Progress by groovie(m): 1:28pm On Apr 25, 2016
These leaders sef. How can anybody say the best way to deliver crude oil to refineries is by pipelineshuh Jeez. There is nothing safer than contracting vessels to do the job until our security forces can stand up to their responsibilities of protecting pipelines.

It was on this forum during this Governments campaign some folks were defending their promise of stable power supply by decentralizing power in the country. Since they took up the mantle we never heard a single word about decentralization. Even when they knew it was not feasible and they know the original problem of power in this countyr is gas supply and transmission. Make una kontinu

Its impossible for u to serve God and Mammon. U cant serve God and still be cheating. The 2 don't go.

U must cut loose from the company u keep, since ur close friends are always been advised to withdraw then u must change the company u walk with.

U must take responsibility for your life. U can't keep saying "someone told u to do this or that" find the right thing to do, find out the right way to do it and DO IT!!

Explain things to ur dad and make up ur mind to swallow whatever he tells u. Then go back and make those courses with great determination. Don't stop at that, be determined to be a success in life. Stay close to God and don't deceive urself.

Yeah pro courses would help you if you want to work on sea all your life which I don't want to.
And you reckon an Msc will help u rise up the corporate ladder in your field? Bro just try do a little more research. But if your really sure msc is the way for you, no problem.
Cheers

I think it depends on what you studied in school. The course am doing(marine engineering). The masters degree has more advantages than the professional exams.
I beg to differ. Make more research about your career. Pro courses will help u get to where u want to be quickly, except you want to go into academia then u can go for your msc. Especially for marine engineering

WISHFUL THINKING, LEARN TO BE REALISTIC.....
Here is no wishful thinking. This is prediction from top oil market analysts. Also that is reality, except any other factor apart from the one used to make such predictions come into play and change the game.

Then again ill tell u Russia's economy was far worse than this at the collapse of the soviet union. These guys reached inwards and made the country what it is today. We have lots of resources that have not been tapped.

I WANT TO USE THIS MEDIUM TO TELL ALL THE JOB SEEKERS OUT THERE THAT NEXT YEAR IS GOING TO BE TOUGH, THE ECONOMY IS IN RECESSION AND THERE IS NOTHING PMB CAN DO. THE PRICE OF OIL CAN NEVER RISE TO $50 AGAIN. THE ECONOMY IS IN SHAMBLES AND THERE IS NOTHING ANYBODY CAN DO, EVEN THE LIKES OF FRED MILTON AND JOHN KEYNES CANT REVIVE THIS DEAD ECONOMY.

BEFORE YOU BLAST ME, GOOGLE THE MEANING OF RECESSION AND COMPARE IT TO WHAT WE ARE EXPERIENCING NOW. ITS FAR WORSE THAN THE GREAT DEPRESSION OF 1930'S.
Negative. Oil prices will rise above $50. Will maybe peak 60-$65 but never $100.
Thing is NIGERIA MUST STOP DEPENDING ON OIL FOR FOREIGN EXCHANGE. Because science is investing heavily on cheaper energy and in the next 5yrs they will perfect this.
Our economy can be better. We have the human resources. We just need more skilled resources and a change of mind set
