After filling the form, go back to where you booked the interview and update your profile there with the new number.
tytmed:

Please did you fill the new form before you got a date-for or you filled after you got a date.it was after l booked the date, that I got a mail about updating the form. The concern I have now is that the code on the ds160 form is we used to book the date, so if I fill new form will it affect the appointment.
Travel / Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by groovychik(f): 10:56pm On Apr 19, 2022
I filled a new form. If your DS160 firm was filled more than 6 months to your interviewdate, you have to fill a new one. However, if you use your old application number to log in, you will see a fill a new form option (or something like that) that allows most of your answers on your previous application to auto complete on your new application.

tytmed:
.

Hello, please did you update your DS 160 form? I got a mail saying “ the DS160 form must be updated or completed within the last 6 months. I tried to update it but it didn’t work. Except I do a brand new one. What do you advice pls?

I dropped off my passport at DHL Abuja on 12th of April. It was issued on 14th April and I got collection mail same day. I picked up 19th being today due to the long weekend. I would advise those doing drop off and even pick up to get there before 6.am. Just get there and write your name and pick your number then you can go shower and return. Time slot does not count during during drop off as it is done by first come, first served as long as your appointment is that day. They usually start drop off by 7.15 and pick up by 8.am

Was in the same situation. I left the date and year of birth blank

SalewaAb95:
Hello all, please any opinion on this?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by groovychik(f): 1:49pm On Jul 09, 2021
My last UK visa expired last year. This year I decided to apply for 10 years since the last one was 5 years. Saw that the forms had changed and some more questions were being asked e.g NI number, access to NHS. I couldn't remember my NI number because it's been ages I used it (while in school). So this forum really helped as I saw someone complain of same thing here and @justwise advised him to just say it as it is. The form also asked of hospitals used while on NHS and apart from the school clinic I couldn't remember the names of others, just that they were in London. So my form had loads of "I can't remember".
What is your N1 number? In additional comments I added "I cannot remember, however I know I worked for only about 3 months for less than 20 hours weekly and just stopped because my school work became more intense"
"Hospitals where you got medical treatment "(something like that) "Apart from the school clinic, I cannot remember the names but I know they were in London" to me all that I cannot remember was serious red flag but I felt that they had means to investigate and see I didn't abuse anything. Also, once I was done with school, I have never stayed longer than 17 days in the UK but I was still nervous sha. VAC was Abuja.
Biometrics: 24th June
Passport ready for collection: 7th of July
Collected my passport: 8th of July.
Thank you all. This forum was really helpful throughout the form filling process.

What they serve is appalling. They are using covid as excuse for this rubbish they gave us. They did slightly better on the return leg of my flight from Atlanta to Istanbul. Gave us Omelette (lol). Then steak and potatoes and still got the free hotel. However from Turkry to Abuja was the same ole bread
Hotstfz007:
I just had to share my experience with Turkish air
My flight was from lagos to IAD Washington
Please make sure you eat before flying. Please eat. Even carry food to eat on board lol
We were given the same food twice would attach the picture. Cold bread and juice. I had not eaten all day so my eyes were very red when I saw that bread. Wanted to believe it was appetizer but to my greatest surprise that was the main meal.
9hours stop over at Istanbul I was too tired and hungry so I paid for the lounge about €47. I ate breakfast and lunch, showered and slept like a baby. Money well spent.
The flight from Istanbul to IAD
At security they kept asking if I had been to china or any country in Europe in the past 14days.
The flight was pretty full and I could count the blacks on the flight.
Now back to the food....
Same cold bread but this time they added cheese inside the bread. Thank God I had eaten very well at the lounge. But for an 11hours flight I felt that was really bad. They severed the same bread meal twice. I slept most part of the flight so i was fine. Didn’t have to eat that cold bread only drank the juice.
POE
Turkish air was the only flight that just landed so the lines were not long
I was asked how long I was staying
Who I was visiting
And if I had food stuff which I said yes. But I wasn’t checked and I was out of the airport.
Hopefully I would explore turkey on my way back home in January for a few days
Happy holidays!!

It depends on the State youare visiting. I went to Atlanta and no covid test was required even in Istanbul

Teshoma1111:
Please for those who have travelled using Turkish airlines, is Covid 19 test report needed?

The most horrific menu ever. Very disappointing

Turkish Airline needs to improve that bread menu of theirs honestly...

Turkish Airline Abj-Instabul-Atlanta.

Flight from Abuja was uneventful, there was no meal just bread and cake twice. Layover was 9hrs40mins at Instabul and I had the choice of going site seeing or free hotel room, I choose the hotel and was given a double room sef. Managed to get proper meal for free of course at the beautiful hotel we were put in, with an amazing view. I will try and attach pictures.
Flight to Atlanta was for 3.50pm and we checked out at 12pm, took about 30 minutes to get to the airport. Passport control etc took less than 30 minutes. Hot to the miles and smiles lounge, ate some more proper meals done a la carte. Finally boarded Instanbul to Atlanta and spent 12 draining and tiresome hours on the plane eith two different bread meals, pretty appaling. Got to Atlanta at 19.47 and my poe went thus:
Where would you be staying....
How long would you be here for? Me: 16 days
Are you carrying any food? Me: None
He stamped and then said "let's confirm that shall we?
Las las they took me to get my bag which was already out. I opened it and they saw no food. However, they saw my vitamins etc but didn't make any fuss.
All in all I spent less than 15 minutes at passport control and the agriculture check so it was pretty fast.
Thank you all for all your contributions and answering our questions.

Most likely Delta

Teshoma1111:
From what I learned, there are no tests required entering the states, but confirm with your airline if you need a test done. I don't know about quarantine, but I made my duration 3weeks Incase there's a mandatory 2weeks quarantine.
Please what airline did you use, I'm trying to book a flight for dec.

Atlanta

fkj950ax:

It is State specific. Which state are you planning to enter the US?

NY now requires a negative test before and after arrival.
Airlines also require it, so check with airline as you may be transiting through a secondary country before your primary destination.

Good day. I am planning on travelling this month to the US and I have a few questions. Are there restrictions e.g, I am aware that on my way back to 9ja I have to run a covid test and upload but is the same thing required when I am entering the US? Is two weeks quarantine still in effect or can I travel to the states I want to go to considering the whole trip is actually for two weeks? Thank you as I await answers

Anyone that is serious about studying in the US or any foreign country, would have to cultivate the habit of reading and research and quit thinking anything would be offered to them on a silver platter. That is what entitlement means. Some people here have read this thread from start to finish to find answers, intact reading just 10 pages of it might give you answers and when you do not get the answers you seek, you ask persistently until someone knowledgeable in that aspect answers. Attitude is everything and I just saw an unfortunate person abuse @lagosismyhome, who we all know doesn't need to be here, but she comes here to advice and on countless occasions assisted applicants with application fees, GRE fees, Toefl etc all on this thread. That is how someone might abuse their helper and blame village people all in the bid to chase clout. I hope you do understand what I mean.

Curious2020:
secousse!

Didn't you ask questions on this thread?
I Don't know if you're currently in the US, if yes didn't you ask questions before you got there?

Because una go dey talk wetin una no do fr una time. I bet you don't know the meaning of "enquiries". You'd not type rubbish.

No sweetie, we definitely do not roll in the same circle. In 2015, you were begging people to tell you ashewo joints in Ibadan, In 2016 you were putting up your number looking for dick enlargement pump. In 2019 August, you were looking for Ibadan hook up. So basically you have a mini winny and cannot get any girl to hook up with. Which explains your disdain for girls you can never get. Stay safe buddy, protect your self during this period. Enjoy making use of your fingers and soap at this most difficult period in history. Namaste.

hahaha, I have a lot of pity for you. 'feel sorry for you. I was showing restraint given your gender in a country where a majority of its men treat you like objects and pieces of garbage. You have just validated that sense that's had of you. You should bury your head in the sand and think about your future. We don't roll in the same circles. Heck, I would not want to.

Enjoy yourself and be sure your safe. Will you?

I sent you a message request on NL, please respond. I feel responsible because you were trying to defend me, but you need to understand that peasants need a place to pour out their frustrations with life and their opinions does not bother me, it makes me feel like I have done a good deed for the society. If you keep on responding to these pigs and YES, I mean it literary, then you are a bigger idiot than the two. STOP. Ignore them for 24 hours and see how they scamper back into the holes they crawled out from. Try it my friend. Ignore for 24-48 hrs and they will get tired and maybe, finally get a life.

Prof,
how did you become a visiting scholar when you just started a 100 level in 2015? Your writing style, spelling and diction seem queer for a " visiting scholar"

Since you claim you have the visa, will you still be purchasing a one-way ticket then hustle for return when you reach there? Now that you have so much money.
I am not beefing just asking questions Sir based off your past comments.
Your response will be highly appreciated for future applicants like me

It's an idiom and does not mean whoever is an actual pig. It basically means I am not going to degrade myself by engaging with troublemakers, who do not contribute to my life, who I do not care about on a faceless forum. Feel free to google the meaning. I am taking my time to explain this so that when I go quiet, you won't spend the next two weeks mentioning me.

rago:
Says so much of your decency to call faceless people p*gs. Writing that codedly alone makes me wanna puke. How can you call people like urself pigs? Do you know what u r talking about? Do u have a normal sense of imagination. When you say something, like "great", don't you imagine greatness? Don't you imagine people when you see "public"?

Comon, lady, take life easy.

Enjoy yourself.

Since they called you agent on this platform you are spiralling out of control. Are you so ignorant that you do not know they are still issuing K1 visas? Quit constuiting a nuisance here because you have become worse than the Afonja you are obsessed with. Nigerian girls this, Nigerians girls that. Misogynistic prick.

Different options at hand? Oh I'd like to see that one. NADA! You have very limited options . If you think otherwise, we'll see about that. By the way, getting married to an American is no longer an automatic immigration to America. Visa Officers don't give a damn about all this supposedly-real potential marriage thing. Visit the embassy and tell them point-blank all those sensational sorry-a** stories. They would just look at you pitifully and send you back to where ur from.

You stated that your wife will put to bed in May. I doubt if that counts as an emergency according to US embassy. If you must go that route, ensure you get a letter from her Dr and be sure she is allowed to use the healthcare, or they might end up asking you for proof of funds. All the best
