Busted lol slashthroat: Prof, how did you become a visiting scholar when you just started a 100 level in 2015? Your writing style, spelling and diction seem queer for a " visiting scholar"
Since you claim you have the visa, will you still be purchasing a one-way ticket then hustle for return when you reach there? Now that you have so much money. I am not beefing just asking questions Sir based off your past comments. Your response will be highly appreciated for future applicants like me |

It's an idiom and does not mean whoever is an actual pig. It basically means I am not going to degrade myself by engaging with troublemakers, who do not contribute to my life, who I do not care about on a faceless forum. Feel free to google the meaning. I am taking my time to explain this so that when I go quiet, you won't spend the next two weeks mentioning me. rago: Says so much of your decency to call faceless people p*gs. Writing that codedly alone makes me wanna puke. How can you call people like urself pigs? Do you know what u r talking about? Do u have a normal sense of imagination. When you say something, like "great", don't you imagine greatness? Don't you imagine people when you see "public"?
Comon, lady, take life easy.
Enjoy yourself. |

By the way, getting married to an American is no longer an automatic immigration to America. Visa Officers don't give a damn about all this supposedly-real potential marriage thing. Visit the embassy and tell them point-blank all those sensational sorry-a** stories. They would just look at you pitifully and send you back to where ur from. |

You stated that your wife will put to bed in May. I doubt if that counts as an emergency according to US embassy. If you must go that route, ensure you get a letter from her Dr and be sure she is allowed to use the healthcare, or they might end up asking you for proof of funds. All the best . Not necessarily true, I have a sister in the US, I am unmarried and yet I was granted visa. I think it depends on the ties you have mostly. Spanishmilf: No wrong info boss Having a sis in the state or anh family in the state is a red flag which about 10-11 people of my client where denied visa for. The v.o will ask u how did thwy get there, how did they get their green card if you can't find a convincing answer they will deny u, in her own case she as no ties at home, if she want to misuse her visa, her sis got her back. She won't have issues with landlord because her sis will use her name. There are many red flags in having sis or bros in the state which few people only know about. |

My first UK visa interview was at 16 before the dropbox started and of course before Visa application centres. Prior to that my Mum was the one that usually gets my UK visas for me, being a minor. You see, I had been travelling to the UK since I was less than a year old so I was pretty confident and calm. I went in alone and had what I thought was a decent interview, the lady was smiling, we cracked a few jokes and at the end she gave me a rejection letter. I appealed, they sent a letter two months later to come submit my passport for the visa, I wrote back to tell them that my Mum who I was to travel with had gone and come back, thus, I was no longer interested in the Visa. The next year I went for a student's visa and I was borderline rude. Straight to the point, no smiling and of course I have never been rejected a UK visa since that first time. My point is that the VOs are not our friends. You have a great profile, but just like I was busy at 16 giving long answers and information I wasn't asked, you were talking too much. Stick to questions asked, do not add or subtract. With oyibos, less is more. You probably worked with them in Aberdeen so you know this. They see talking too much as us trying to hide our ulterior motives, instead of us just being enthusiastic. Your son's innocent comment would appear to them as coaching. That's how strait laced they are. During my US interview, I planned to smile because my friend told me to do so, cos I have a resting b....ch face. This particular VO denied 3 people in less than 5 minutes while other VOs still had people in their fronts, so I couldnt even summon a smile. Good luck to you and more hugs for your child.

If you want a higher score, use your money and register. Using other people's money and thinking you can always return to beg for more money is what made you complacent. visiFisiMisi1: I took the test... Is it not possible that since then, they have now started background checks? In the past social media accounts weren't needed, now they are. Things change and they are not obliged to inform the public of these changes skdfu747: I have many friends in the U.S at the moment. How? Majority of them even lied in their application they also lied during the interview process but yet the visa was issued. If real background check was done then the lies would have been detected on the spot. |

Gbas gbos everywhere. Popcorn anyone? AngelicBeing: You need to get a dictionary or brighter grammar or primary 6 / JSS 1 English textbook to learn more about the basics of English language, because it is not my duty nor part of my purview / scope / ambit to educate you but for emphasis sake l will do it again
The original form of that adage / expression / saying is about 700 years old and it states that "Curses are like chickens and they always come home to roost" while in modern English, it means that "chickens have come home to roost", which also implies that the bad things that someone / a group of people has done in the past, have come back to bite them, which I quoted correctly.
You are the one that needs to learn to grow up or register with ldumota grammar school , acquire the basic use of both written / spoken English language before you travel to the US because you will need it to be able to communicate with your American audience
Lastly, I don't give a hoot about the 6 million quid you claim to have, it is Irrelevant to me in this discuss and I am absolutely not interested to know about it, and it is balderdash to me, where is my koboko laden with chilly pepper |

Complete BS. My brother, his wife and 2 children were approved on Thursday. However, the denial rate has increased even for renewals and those that never abused their visas from all the transcripts we see here. Las las we go all dey 9ja, hold our politrickians responsible and improve our country. Uriel12: Not like I know anything or so... I was talking to someone who applied for a US Visa, and he said they only issue visas to people going to school or need medical treatment (as of now)... And they bounce B1/B2. You must be the first visa expert that has never applied for a visa. Let me give you an example of a 'shut up and learn' situation Seye mentioned. Ferdinand said he was born in an EU country but has a Nigerian passport. Being born in an EU country is not the same as being a citizen of an EU country. So how do you advise someone to apply from a country where he is neither a citizen, lived or has a passport? This is just an example of the plenty wrong advice you give. I also get it wrong sometimes, but I take the corrections and learn from it. I know you are a teenager and all, you are funny, you make me laugh, but most times you need to just take a chill pill and learn. First you complain about epistles, then you boast about Twitter and quora. How does that translate to money in your account? Chilllllll. My dropbox renewal interview was unsuccessful. I was interviewed in Lagos (Window 4) See transcript below:
Me: Good morning VO: Good morning, how are you doing today? Me: I'm fine, thank you. VO: Your passport and DS160 confirmation please Me: (Hands it over to him) VO: I can see you have previously visited the US in 2017, which city did you go to? Me: New York VO: How long did you stay during your visit? Me: 2 weeks VO: Okay (nods his head affirmatively). Are you married? Me: Yes VO: Did your wife travel with you during your last trip to the US Me: No, she didn't as we were not married then VO: (looks at the screen and says okay) VO: Is she travelling with you on this proposed trip Me: No VO: Where do you work and what are your roles? Me: I work at xyz bank as a financial reporting officer and handles financial and management reporting, tax remittances, performance mgt .... VO: That's cool. So, where do you intend to visit this time and what will you be be doing? Me: I will be visiting New Jersey and in the course of my visit, go sight seeing and visit some places of attraction VO: Ok, have you visited any other country(s) apart from the US in the last 5 years? Me: Yes, I've visited South africa and UAE. VO: Any recent trip out of the country? Me: Yes, I was in Dubai, UAE in September VO: Did you go alone or with your wife? Me: I went with my wife VO: How long did you stay? Me: 8 days VO: That's good (looks at my passport to confirm the stamp) VO: Do you have kids yet Me: No VO: Ok, I'm sorry to inform you that you do not qualify for a US visa at this time (Hands over the refusal form). You can reapply some other time. VO: Do enjoy the rest your day Me: Thank you (Collected the refusal form and left).
Although, I wasn't too optimistic given the trend of events in the last one year, but i'm still shocked that I could be refused as i did not at anytime abuse the terms of my previous visa nor overstayed. What do you guys advise? |
