im back again. i went to see a gyn just as you directed, and was asked to go for a pelvic scan. hope you still remenber my case? Iregular periods! i went for the scan on saturday and it came out normal cos the comment reads NORMAL PELVIC SCAN. he said i should go for hormone profile which i pland going for on saturday. my period came in this morning after 2 months break. i'll still go for it though. this is to update you.

hope you still remenber me? the lady with iregular periods. ve bin taking DUOFEM as the combined oral contraceptive you talked about and nothing yet, i even had to take a PT (strips) which read nagative at least to be double sure. the last time i saw my period was early July.

i should continue with the drug or would you like to suggest any other thing?

The BRIGDE FERTILITY CLINIC is just the right place to go. they are very good. if they see its something they can handle, they will tell you right there and then. Expensive though but worth it.

I used to weigh 55kg. Not sure if im still on that, lately i think ve lost weight.

Please dont get confused. Fine, initially my days were longer than normal, now i belve its okay.
My problem now is that my period skips i.e- it could come regularlaly for four months or even more, then all of a sudden for like a month or two i wont see it even when pregnancy is ruled out.

i seriously suport keeping money for rainy days. even if the husband doesnt think of it, then d wife should raise the idea. marriage is not like boyfriend/girlfriend thing we deceive ourselves with. if a man is incapable of caring for his family, directly or indirectly he has failed.

Thanks for the replies. The drug i think is Gynosid(2 tiny white tablets) & not Gynaetrosid. The last time i took contraceptives was 3 years back (Postinor). im worried. thank again.

What about the delay in the months? i complained to a Dr once and he told me to use Gynaetrosid or something but i dont want it to be the help all the time. i could go off for a month or even two. do you see that as normal. please if there is any regulatory drug, could u help with it please? what do you think could be the cause?

it depends. if you happen to get a good hospital, you might get something that will at least pay your bills. i served in Zamfara state and the Govt pays corpers doctors N35,000 and if you decide to stay after your service your sure of nothing less than 70,000. sre you'll save a gud chunck of that pay cos cost of leaving is very low. down here the competition is just too much.
