Scenario 2 This happened on apongbon bridge Lagos years ago. There's this Mad man who is know for spitting into peoples vehicles. So whenever he approaches, everyone winds up at jet speed This day, my colleague missed him totally and before she could say Jack Robinson, he was by the window, Waiting to spit like a reptile My colleague starts begging and offered him some money; he grabs it and says "aunty you don buy new motor Now how did a "mad man" know exactly what car she was using before . These guys ain't mad i tell u! |
lol honeric01, i wont argue with you, i ply that road everyday okay. Case closed ![]() If not for Julius Berger workin on it over the past 1 month plus, do you know how unmotorable that road has been recently, Talk less of Rainy season, i cant believe i'm even explaining myself to u |
^^^ You aint passed there recently i guess! The side heading towards Oceanic bank. You dey lagos so ![]() Also for your info , that road is just getting fixed! JBerger is still workin on that road as i type this msg F.Y.I i saw this LIVE as i was in the car behind ![]() |
Only in Lagos When you are driving in the Day and get bumped from behind , you bring your car to a halt and start screeming blue-murder! Yelling how its a new car, how you've just painted it blah blah blah and demaiding that the offender fixes the car! When you are driving in the Night and get bumped from behind, you put your leg firmly on the accelerator and zoom off as if you've just seen a ghost! ![]() |
Rainy Season in Lagos Corporate chick in a slick ride approaches ojuelegba under bridge, suddenly her car gets stuck in some mud. An area boy shows up from nowhere, and heaves-the car over the muddy water. The corporate chick says thank you but the young man inisists he wants payment. She frowns and starts to move the car! The area boy becomes so furious he uses his hand to pack mud and pour it into the car straight on "Miss corporate baby" |
Scenario 1 Traffic Holdup in Lagos. I was in the passenger seat of my colleague's ride. Mad man walks by with a plate asking for money. My colleague ignores him Woman carrying two babies walks by begging, My colleague summons her and gives her some money Mad man returns grumbling, "You see my condition, you no give me anything You go see, u no go born twins" Me n my colleague were like " |
Only in Lagos , can you see something like this
|
Only in Lagos, Conductors who have had zero education can do maths more than you, I pitied one corporate looking guy who after he was given change by the conductor he started running after the bus saying the change is not correct and the conductor yelled at him, " Count am well well, Abi you no go school Lol and the conductor was right! ![]() |
Jarus:lol LWKMD |
^^^ Yes Otukpo, and you start to wonder if the location has shifted some extra distance since morning |
This one happens so often ![]() Its only in Lagos, You board a bus going to a particular place, U join the bus halfway to its destination but you are charged more money than those who boarded the bus right from the Bus Stop ![]() And the passengers will be looking at you as if its normal |
Only in lagos,
[li]I've seen Women board a bus from the boot especially during rush hour and buses are scarce! This way they get a back seat quickly while people are still fighting it out at the Door

[li]Once there was a mad rush to board a bus and a woman practically 'threw' her child into the bus using him to secure a seat be4 she got in [/li]
Madness but i love it ![]() |

After 3 months of drama, suspense, excitement and the new word Nkennarism (linda's idea yeah?), @ Lawyerchap and Tampico, I think its a great idea if we could arrange a rendez-vous. I'm in Lagos a.t.m as well. What do you have in mind? Would def like to see the faces behind many controversial and at the same time exciting posts here! ![]() Lastly, it feels so good hearing comments like this from Anti-Kevin Campaigners in SADC The midget is not very bad after all, Its his fans who turned us into haters, Duh!, Talk of Sour Grapes ![]() |
davidif:lol You mean the spirogyra colored one ![]() |

Hi Friends, I must not leave without saying my Goodbyes and closing remarks It was an exciting 91 days of BBA - The Revolution. All our efforts would have been futile if Kevin did not win. But he did! and Boy did he do it with Style! Our swagger king knocked out every single opposition to his throne with relative ease! We all thought Edward Momgo was Kevin's primary threat - but alas Africa had other ideas. Queen Emma da Rocha (who had similar qualities as Kevin - such as Dancing and the way they both survived multiple evictions) was Africa's darling for this year's event. And kudos to her for making it to the Final two. Too bad she was up against destiny's child - Kevin Chuwang Pam. N30,000,000 is no small money. Like one singer said - "It may be rice, it may be Garri but its definitely not Beans lol". Its my sincere prayer that Kevin fulfils his dream of establishing an entertainment empire that we (all) can be proud of. (Keep Off! Queen Elizabeth lol )Once again thank you everyone for your contributions - Read-Only, Read/Write, May God Bless you all. I had secretly hoped that we would average 2 pages per day on this thread and yes we did. 185 Pages / 91 Days = 2.03 Pages per day. Can you beat that TeeZero it was a pleasure talking to you on Skype as well. You've changed my perception of Nairaland completely (I'll keep the details to myself lol). Nigeria is a Great nation, with Great People! If only we can unite (just like we did for our boy kev) - then we can attain the Greatness we so deserve as a Nation.

@ LC, that was inspiring Proud to be 9Ja |
Ziggy_mama:@Ziggy_mama One love, It's been fun all the way for me for the last 93 Days! It's a shame this has to end now, I'm sure we'll cross paths sooner rather than later! Wish you guys all the best in your various endeavors (Kevin Believed and he Achieved it - so can we) Naija Forever, Love you all my friends! |
