PoliticsRe: Please What Would Obi Have Done Differently Within This Short Period? by Guestlander: 12:37am On Jul 19, 2023
He would have done nothing other than pandering to tribal and religious sentiments.
He didn't even have any manifesto until it was pointed out to him.

Comedians! The threat will not cross the river Niger. It will start and end in the SE.
What river Niger? It will not go beyond the cameraman let alone leave the bush from where it was issued.

How does renaming an already named house of any benefit to the Nigerian women?

Please tell us how much that she spent to rename an already named house?

If she really care about Nigerian women, she knows where to go and how to meet the Nigerian women who might need the government assistance.
Probably less than the N700 you are crying about all over the internet.
She was involved in women issues even before becoming the first lady. Are you not aware of this?

How is this of any benefit to the nation's building ?

Price of petrol today is almost N700 under Tinubu illegitimate government. Remi, advice your husband.
Price of petrol is more important than the development and uplifting of women in Nigeria?
PoliticsRe: 25% In FCT Is A Must by Guestlander: 11:32am On Jul 18, 2023
Chidibe212:
Please sir, Abuja is not a state. FCT is not a state. Let's assume you are from Benue state and FCT (which I believe you know the full meaning) is moved to Benue State, kindly note that Benue will no longer be regarded as a State but a Federal Capital Territory. Thanks
Who said Abuja is a state? In a previous Supreme Court ruling, Abuja FCT has been for the purpose of elections only regarded as a state. Like I said earlier, this is the reason why Obi is considered to have won 12 states when in fact he won in 11 states and Abuja.
PoliticsRe: 25% In FCT Is A Must by Guestlander: 11:19am On Jul 18, 2023
OredoPikin:
it is what the law says bro

they are not special rather the law made abuja so.

after the current case in court, u can go to ur representative at the national assembly to move the emotion for its amendment.

as it stands now, abuja is considered special because its the FCT and its expected u get at least 25% there
Pure nonsense, the constitution doesn't grant any special privileges to residents of Abuja especially in terms of voting.
Abuja is only giving the status of a state to protect the rights of the residents to participate in the voting process just like other Nigerians.
Obi is considered to have won 12 states even though he won 11 states and the FCT for this reason.
PoliticsRe: 25% In FCT Is A Must by Guestlander: 10:51am On Jul 18, 2023
OredoPikin:
you are still not getting it.

you must have 25% in FCT and 24 other states.
having it in FCT with 24 other states is not enough
having it in 36 states without FCT is also not enough

Why not just go and write English and Mathematics and forget about other subjects before seeking admission in University?
You are not explaining why it is not enough to win in all the 36 states in Nigeria and still not win because you couldn't get 25% in the FCT. Are there more Nigerians living in the FCT? Are the votes in the FCT more special than the rest of the country?
PoliticsRe: 25% In FCT Is A Must by Guestlander: 10:39am On Jul 18, 2023
OredoPikin:
hello sir

read the write up again?

if u buy maggi without buying salt, you have not delivered the message you were sent, vis-a-vis

if u like have 100% in FCT without getting the highest votes cast and meeting 25% in 24 other states, you have not meet the requirement.
if u also like, win all the 36states without getting 25% in FCT (which is not even possible), you will have to go for another election in FCT

that is what the law says
it doesnt have to make sense to u
Why not have the election in the FCT alone then? What is the purpose of having the election in the 36 states?
PoliticsRe: 25% In FCT Is A Must by Guestlander: 10:34am On Jul 18, 2023
tesppidd:
24 States and The FCT.

In Nigeria, FCT is never written or spoken of, as a State.

If it were, then the law would have been stated simply as "in 24 States".

Am not a Tinubu supporter but honestly my own interpretation is 24 States are required, with or without The FCT.

I hope I am wrong anyway.
Your interpretation is the most logical since all votes carry equal weight everywhere in Nigeria.
Any other interpretation is absurd.

emapeteum:
Great fit, but where is the hoisted flag? Academic achievement, for a black man, is a personal achievement and has no effect on society as a whole. Is this the season of praising our tribal men and women who are having a first-class, where most of these first-class products lack the wisdom to contribute positively to the development of society? After tearing GWR, is now the era of the best jamb score and first-class.
Nations are celebrating true contributions to solving societal problems in which a few of them are awarded the Nobel and other prizes, but my countrymen are celebrating kids with acquired knowledge simply to outdo other tribes whom the writer of this news is trying to achieve.
Nigerian musicians, because of their originality, promote the image of Nigeria more than these so-called first class where the writer claimed the Russians hoisted the Nigerian flag as if that solve the security and economic issues Russia is currently facing.
You got it all wrong. Some very successful countries are actively courting brilliant people like this young woman by giving them residence permits.
We need all the top notch engineers and doctors and scientists we can get, and they are very very important to the development of the country.

You didn't win any indirect rule. The British on their own decided on how they will rule the colonies. Try not to garnish your arguments with lies.

She is trying to steal what belongs to Nkechi and that is totally unacceptable.

They are exercising their constitutional right to protest. Even if the lion kill 1000 people in France, the government should not stop free speech and freedom of movement.

The people should just raise the French flag up and the Lion will just waka pass them.

If they protest for 30 more days, UN will take over the country.

#EndSARS
#EndFrance
You are basically ready to thousands of people to defend your right to protest violently?
Though your right to protest doesn't include violence.
You are one of the most reasonable folks around here, why this sentiment?
