I think it's manual process. Trending topics get sorted out to the top of moderator's back end view, the moderator checks if it's front-page worthy then add to home page (front page).

Then there are bots that ensure users are well behaved. Ever wondered why news don't come on front-page from 7pm? Office is closed till 7am.

Adam & Eve were blacks. The question you are supposed to ask is where the whites come from?

Bros, if I shared just 5 instances where my dreams have come alive 100% you would think I'm a fiction writer. Still, I'll share one with you!

In the year 2000 I was physically attacked at a friend's house and ended up in an eye hospital in Kano where I spent 25 days admitted in ECWA Eye Hospital.

I had so many dreams during that short time, many of which have come true. The death of my uncle, the house I would later reside in at Abuja, my future as a married man, a certain friend called prince which I was yet to meet at the time, my death & my Ogbanje visitor.

Let me share the Ogbanje story... While I was asleep at the hospital bed, I dreamt of a popular girl (name withheld) who I had never met but heard of quite often as the most beautiful girl in Sabon Gari Kano.

In the dream, she came visiting with my own friend Rita. Still in the dream, Rita was remorseful as she cried over what befell me while beautiful girl was just standing there staring at me eyeball to eyeball. I didn't flinch, blink or even moved a muscle in the dream, neither did she. It was a staring contest. Right there, a voice told me she's the Queen of WaterSpirits & I should lower my eyes but I refused. Then I woke up!

At evening my female friend Rita came visiting with the same girl I saw in my dream. Same hair, face, complexion, dress and polythene bag containing fruits I saw her holding. She walked to the spot where I saw her standing in the dream and didn't even say a word to me. Just to be sure, I asked her of her name, she wouldn't speak. My female friend told me her name and it confirmed my fears. Everything happened exactly as I saw her in the dream except for the voice which asked me to lower my eyes. We were in a staring contest. Nobody knew why we were staring at each other but it was awkward to everyone around.

I later explained to my mother who immediately started 7 days prayer and fasting on my behalf.

Let me add a short dream also. I saw my wife & 2 daughters in a dream that same period in the hospital. The woman I married 2 years ago is the same woman I saw in my dream. I told her our first two children will be girls just to confirm to her that it's all been revealed. We have a daughter now, hopefully the next will be a girl too.


Some people dream the future, some people just dream based on events they experienced the day before. If you have over 20 dreams like mine that have come to pass, then you have the gift of the Holy Spirit.

I would also like to commend Nairaland for their 2020 look & upgrade. However I would like to suggest that Nairaland make some improvement in areas like emotions, more web color for fonts, easy click gifs & their bots. Few days ago I got banned for using a different color on font from the one given in editor. Please Seun look into this. For a whole lot of us, we've abandoned Facebook and Twitter because this is where the vibe is.

This is most probably a true story.
It must have been leaked by the people in the first lady's office,close aides of hers or even she herself.
But the fact is that this story may not have come to light if the current power play between her and the Tunde "Idiagbon" didn't occur.
She and others in the know would have kept quiet and allowed the looting to go ahead.
It's a revelation or leak not borne out of any patriotic duty or aim to deter corruption but simply out of vendetta and blackmail.

on reading the first paragraph of the news report, I already assumed that the first lady is behind the news. No doubt. More revelation will be shared from both feudal camps in the coming days.

Worse of all, the man in charge of Nigeria affairs cannot even keep his own home in peace, neither his state nor his region. How then can he take care of the while country.
