Please my brothers, I need you guys assistance. I intend starting a travel application. I am though a graduate of History and International relations in Delta State university 2013, there is no hope of getting a good job here in Nigeria based on conne!!! I however told my parents abt my desire to study abroad which they agreed on. the following options where given:
1. Either I do my masters
2. Travel as a means of hustle.

I however, choose USA and the UK as my intended destinations. I was suggested to use an agent to help me but I read sometime ago in Nairaland that most of these agents are scam and its better to start my application myself but I am confused. I dont know where I should start from:

So I am begging you guys to pls help me, I a may be asking too much but pls help me with d LIST of cheapest schools I can apply for IN the UK, estimates of the amount I need to have to start my application, tuition fees, house, food etc, of what should be put into considerations b4 applying. so I can tell my parents.

Will also ask in USA forum to know which will be best to chose from thanks.



Also how I want to know if there is d possibility of getting a visa if i applied as vocational student or to a polytechnic

i used N4k to buy fuel for my car and my remaining N1k to get food in a resturant before I face Lagos traffic. As I ordered food and sat down to eat, a man sitting beside me and in a nice shirt said, "i luv the way u eat, try their snail, i will pay". I hastily added 4 pieces of snail for N2000 and continued eating . He said again,"u eat so well, pls add a bottle of wine so dat u can drink after eating". I hastily made the order and was having fun.

My total bill came up to about N10,000... I thanked him for accepting to pay. As I stood to leave, my car key fell down, and i bent to pick it, i discovered dat the man was bare-footed!!! Alas, he was a mad man. He laughed at me and said," De way dem go beat u 4 here ehh, na only God fit save u.!".

as much as we all hate police men but so many things are not clear in this story.
1. how did you know they were police men when u said they were in mufti?

2. I have never seen a man that would ask for direction from a police man, not in Nigeria.

3. if you want to ask for direction, you don't do that on motion but either Park or slow down to ask. saying he jumped into the car is funny somehow.

4. are u sure the issue was all about one way or not because with the pix shown their it looked as if it wasn't a one way issue.

5. you refused to tell us what eventually happened and how the issue was resolved or charged to court.

yes we know Nigeria police are irrational most times but at the same time let us find out the truth and it would set us free
