Last I checked most Nigerians are not party affiliated, isn't it pathetic that any discerning voice in opposition to government is labelled APC supporter on NL? That's how you know this forum has been bought over. TAN is Nigeria's version of the Hitler youth, but they are cowards who hide behind whatever devices they use to propagate their e-terrorism. Huge shame!!! |

abu12: According to my source, Buruji Kashamu splash some millions on nairaland owner to help moderate their site in favour of PDP lead govtHmmmm Kashamu the same drug felon GEJ put in charge of his SW campaign ![]() I can't rule it out,one thing is certain NL has been bought by PDP. |
Nairaland is funded by PDP so don't be suprised if unfavourable news about the party is removed or doesn't make the frontpage.Seun has lost all integrity and credibility, his apologies about calling APC supporters boko haram is just him trying to save face, the damage has been done. |

OrlandoOwoh: Ndigbo are f00ls. No northerner, in the face of the allegation against Ali Modu Sheriff, has tried to shield him.Maybe because he's ihejirika's partner in crime ![]() |
sexyseun: lol, her name is omowumi akinifesi, she was Most beautiful girl in nigeria in 2005, her dad was a former CBNgovernor, she was my senior in Queens College yaba.CBN governor ![]() |
Fulaman198: You are an embarrassment to your people. I bet with your level of behavior you are considered low class there too? Please leave that douche bag ayanle alone,he's been trolling NL since God knows when.Pathetic excuse for an human being, I don't engage him in anyway and I have seen all the vitriolic bile he spews on threads from his various monikers. The tw@t needs to get a life and stop wasting his welfare money on internet connection masquerading on a Nigerian forum as some sort of somalian messiah, come to think of it those ladies he's always foaming at the mouth for don't have a clue about his miserable existence ![]() |
Evergreen123: my friend, igbos started nollywood industry In 1992.Ngozi stop fabricating falsehoods as fact on NL, Igbos might have started the so called 'nollywood' in the early 90's,but some Nigerian movies were already being shot in celluloid as far back as the 60's down to 1990 - Hubert Ogunde shot a movie starring Pierce Brosnan in 1990 with some prominent Nigerian actors. And Omotola was known to the movie industry as at 1995 not 2000,her rise to fame is not different from many other stars.Who knew anybody before they showed up frequently on our screens? |
shymexx: Apart from the fact that they're both high profile sportsmen who allegedly killed their women, both cases are somewhat different IMO. From the get-go, Oscar accepted that he did it, and the bone of contention has been if it was premeditated murder or homicide. With Oscar as the person who can provide evidence for the former. Guilty of either one of the two types of killing in South Africa or both from the get-go Vs. claimed innocence from the get-go.Well I actually meant the part where they both got a very good legal team. Ermmm we all know OJ killed his wife ![]() |
shymexx: OJ's case was different. The prosecutors (police) tampered with evidence(s), and the great Johnnie Cochran (R.I.P), Robert Kardashian and the rest of the team were able to build a solid defense against that. The comparison between OJ's trial and this one fits like a well-worn glove. Pistorius had a dream team of lawyers like OJ had and the outcome was never in doubt. |
In all trials, "purely circumstantial" evidence is frequently the clearest path to the truth--even superior to eye-witness accounts. For goodness sake, there have been murder convictions where no body has been found, and circumstantial evidence is all there is.. It boggles the mind that Judge Masipa did not apply ordinary reasoning in her ruling. Ordinary reasoning points one way--toward guilt. First, no woman living intimately with a man would get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and, in the dark, lock the door behind her. Second, disabled in the legs or not, Mr. Pistorius is equipped with a functioning voice, good hearing and fully working arms. Why, if they thought an intruder was in the room, did he not instinctively listen for Ms. Steenkamp's breathing, reach out with his arm to see if she were lying there, or whisper to her to stay put? It's not very hard to figure out almost instantaneously that a partner has left the bed. Mr. Pistorius, even by his own account, had lots of time before he went to the bathroom to have figured this out. While reading about the trial, I kept wondering if the prosecutor directly challenged Mr. Pistorius by saying this: Surely this was not the first time Ms. Steenkamp got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Why didn't you think an intruder was in the bathroom the other nights? |
bieagole: There is another type of depression. We call it postnatal (or postpartum) depression: it affects woman after baby birth. But i know in africa, everythin is witchcraft. That's another serious one,but with proper therapy and medicine can be dealt with. Its a very common occurence in Nigeria,Yorubas's call it "abisiwin" . Its often mistaken for witchcraft but people are waking up to the realities. |
khiaa: It's true.Educate me please. |
khiaa: And part black/African.Never heard of that. |
And they'll write 'state of the art' even if its an old WW2 frigate given to the NN by the US. As at 2002 i saw this same model at the airforce base in Kaduna ![]() Is someone deliberately shortchanging this country by purchasing outdated military hardwares and passing it off as 'State of the art' ![]() |
Finished 6 seasons of Mad Men and the first part of the 7th season.Wonderful series I'd rank it alongside Breaking Bad House of Cards Game of thrones Downton Abbey |
Kezifils: You go fear politics. Kevin killed it.House of Cards is crazy mehn 'The road to power is full of hypocrisy and casualties' Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright killed it. |
HandOfChukwu: Yes, of course they do, they even have an IGBO village in Virginia as many African-Americans are descendants of my tribe. I study black history in general and found that they also have made basically all forms of music we listen to in the world today, Jazz, Ragtime, Gospel, Swing, Techno, House, Dubstep, RnB, Hip-Hop, Disco, Rock, Blues etc.. and the African diaspora in the Caribbean and South America made Salsa, Reggae, Samba, Tango etc... even the creator of classical musical Beethoven was part black, so even in the face of discrimination in foreign lands the fact they were able to do all thisLudwig Van Beethoven was German |
edo3: Mr man,,na u demote am??oga obj na member of 45 or 46RC and a great burmese...get well soon sir.. ![]() |
HAH: But truly Lt col don't lead platoon but battalion which is normally above 500 officers and soldiersA battalion can range from 400 to 1000 soldiers, usually made up of 4 companies at least. If 24 soldiers were killed in the so called platoon it means they were almost wiped out . His rank commands a battalion definitely |
I'm guessing he is a lieutenant not a Lt Col,no way a lieutenant colonel will command a platoon ![]() |
Disney cartoons were great growing up though, they made little boys and girls dream about being princes and princesses. |
And why is this trash still on the front page ![]() Chino has been lying from time immemorial and his deluded bunch of bootlickers are always here to prop up his stupidity. |
ArtanK: American companies such as Chevron, Conoco Phillips and ExxonMobil are there too, apparently they cut deals with Siad Barre before the civil war. Everyone wants a piece of this cakeUnfortunately oil will only bring more conflicts just as it has in other parts of Africa, the next bunch of ' freedom fighters' are going to be fighting for resource control, who knows maybe al shabbab will join the party then as there's lots of money to be made. Hence conflict is inevitable because that piece of cake never goes round. But I expect the chinese to get most of the contracts to build up the infrastructure in Somalia they've been pretty good with that in African countries. |
