Politics › Re: Nigerian Ambassador Blasts US Refusal To Sell Arms by Guyman02: 12:07pm On Nov 12, 2014
The problem is that the Govt is being conscious not to upset Washington by taking the path Egypt took when US stopped selling arms to them by going to buy from Russia who are in conflict currently with the West and with the elections coming, they West can easily sabotage the country using our religious divide and arming Boko Haram with more sophisticated weapons as they have done in many middle east countries where Mullahs are infiltrated to groom terrorists and suicide bombers for US interests through the CIA and Mossad.

Israel gets the biggest supply of weapons from US and have never being accused of Human Rights violation even when they drop bombs on UN schools in Gaza killing hundreds of children.

US is not an ally, they dont want Nigeria to advance. Libya under Gaddafi became the country in Africa with the highest standard of living better than most EU countries which was seen as an abnormally by the West who went in there, armed jihadists, killed the man and left Libya in total chaos now.
Lets think inward about how to be self reliant on some areas.

Pic 1: JonaTAN built roads in Igboland (on billboards)
Pic 2: Enugu Onitsha Expressway (passing through Ifeanyi Ubas village) 'rehabilitated' by Jonathan Administration for ndigbo

Question: Where is the coal power plant in Enugu promised in 2011 by GEJ?
Where is the second Niger Bridge promised Ndigbo in 2011.
Where is the Inland Seaport at Onitsha promised Ndigbo
Where are the Federal Govt Infrastructure to be located in the South East as promised? name them.

Now what is he going to promise this time? I am not against GEJ, but he needs to do more for the people of South East to get their support. Like Fashola said recently, he failed to do more when the price of oil was above $100 for 10 years, now that the price of oil is below $80 is he going to do more with dwindled resources? Questions!

Politics › Re: Rochas Declares For Presidency. by Guyman02: 10:21am On Nov 11, 2014
I will Vote for Rochas and Fashola for President and Vice if APC will allow it. That will change the equation and give PDP a run for their money. Rochas is detribalised and Fashola is a man with vision.

To all Northerners and South Westerners hear this, I will not repeat it again:

Jonathan is NOT AN IGBOMAN or 'inyanmiri' as the Hausas will like to call the Igbos

Never negotiate with terrorists. Once a deal is reached and the girls are freed, Boko Haram will simply abduct more girls from another community and expect govt to negotaiate their release.
Even America now negotiates with terrorists to save their citizens lives but on condition that they will abandon violence against Nigerians.

Any man who decides that it is the scrotum of a ram that he wants to eat should know that he is indebted to elephantiasis of the scrotum (Igbo proverb)

They are scared of what Nigeria can do to their economy with all the investments they have here just like Germany Biggest EU economy is now facing a recession because Russia decided to retaliate on the sanctions imposed by EU on them.

Missmossy:
I really can't imagine settling down with a partner detested by my folks. If i try all i can to convince them and its all to no avail,i'd look forward and let their decision stand because they know better than i do.

Its gonna be a tough choice though, but what will be will be.
Small boys talk. If you think it is the best decision for you in life you cant wait entirely for flimsy reasons from parents because whichever decision you take whether from parent or yourself, you are the one to live with it.

My friend dumped his girlfriend for no reason but because of parents advise about her tribe, today he regrets that decision and cant get her back as she has moved on, she meant so much to him and not his parent, one of the parent has passed on and he caters for the other and they dont know the emotional turmoil he is facing for swallowing their advise and insistence.
Its your life to live, after-all you never chose your mother for your father.

If it has to do with marriage, make your own decision not parents, but listen to them if their argument is not just out of primordial sentiments like tribe, status or class, Osu or outcast, body shape etc.

Properties › Re: Abuja’s Abandoned Mansions by Guyman02: 6:50pm On Sep 17, 2014
Abuja is a city where many young people live very fake lives.
Properties › Re: Abuja’s Abandoned Mansions by Guyman02:
The reality is that most people in Abuja actually live a fake life. Since I got posted to this town, I realised that my salary only pays my rent and put food on my table. No savings anymore, in Portharcourt I stayed in a 3 bedroom spacious apartment with less than the amount I am paying in Abuja for a one bedroom flat. Sometimes I feel stuck, I cant just quit my job without an alternative. Contracts are only for the really connected people.

All the schools in town are so expensive that I wish that Government should use the Ebola excuse and close all the schools till January 2015 so that I can accumulate more monthly salary to pay for my kids.

While you are struggling to pay your rent in Abuja, you find several unoccupied mansions around you with so high rent that they remain unrented for years, the owners dont care because only few of them struggled to make the money to build those mansions in Abuja, majority are from govt coffers and inflated contracts.

Abuja can be frustrating, my friend wants to relocate to Abuja by asking for transfer from his office, I have been advising him not to be deceived by the lack of heavy traffic and beautiful street lights at night and since he is gainfully employed in Lagos, with all the hassles in Eko, he should just be visiting to seek for opportunities or to have fun but not outright relocation with his family.

Abuja doesnt seem to have a soul of its own. The only alternative is to relocate to outskirts like Maraba/Nyanya where the traffic snarl to the city center every morning and evening will make you feel like your lifespan is been cut short, now it has been worsened by Soldiers doing stop and search against Boko Haram.

OrlandoOwoh: The DHQ always claim no town is lost, only for them to turn round to say the towns have been regained. I need a reliable source from BBC, Aljazeera or CNN.
Those are very unreliable politicized sources; CNN, BBC and Aljazeera websites recently removed readers comments board as directed by the US State Dept because many readers use the comments to expose their news spins and lies. You can check that out, unlike the days when they were used to deceive Americans that Saddam possessed WMD and US invaded Iraq.

Nobody with half a brain quotes them as reliable news sources.

Stop calling her and loose your self esteem further, give her time, NYSC is a place where you meet new people, some from schools abroad and rich homes, handsome dudes ready to help and collect their share from that thing you think is meant for alone.
Dont deceive yourself, many of us here have done it with other peoples babes during NYSC hoping that other smart guys will not do same thing to us. Thats the reality of life.

All these Federal Character appointed Doctors. Open the employment scheme and do it on merit. Many young Doctors and at home while some are under paid working in private clinics while the privileged ones who got their Federal Govt jobs through knowing prominent politicians are recruited. Eject them from the free houses they occupy. Let every doctor compete for the available position and that will teach them a lesson.

BadBoy25: what drug did a nigerian invent?
Have you ever heard of Emzor Pharmaceutical or Orange drugs? They have paediatric drugs invented by them and approved by NAFDAC in various pharmacies in Nigeria, if you are a parent you will know.

Have you ever heard of 'Gbogbonishe' effectively used by our local folks for years to treat scorpion and snake bites? It was invented in Nigeria.

Have you ever heard of Sheer Butter cream (Ori, Okwoma) used to treat swellings in the villages, it was invented in Nigeria and works better than nerve and bones because it is gentle on the skin. Also Aboniki balm was also invented here.

Have you ever heard of Magani 'Burantashi' used to go seven rounds for couples with sexual issues, its more effective than Viagra, it was invented in Nigeria.
I can go on and on.

BadBoy25: you guys are a bunch of illiterates, that's why I'm now anti Nigeria and africa.
Mr smart guy, if China had waited for the US to approve every of their product, you wont have the opportunity of displaying and typing your stupidity from a cheap Chinese laptop.
Its because of people like you that artisans and manufacturers in places like Aba, Onitsha, Yaba, Kano who produce quality products such as sandals, shoes and leather etc are not doing well because you term their works Aba-Made, Igbo-Made instead of patronizing them, but would be too happy to call an uncle in the US to buy you a designer shoe or cloth which unfortunately after the fire disaster in Bangladesh we discovered that most US designers are produced there under cheap labour.
You are a young person from your statement, just step and believe in your yourself and free your mind from mental slavery

Why cant we pay the US with their own coin? embarassed
Health › Re: Nano Silver Can Cure Ebola – Manufacturer by Guyman02: 8:37am On Aug 19, 2014
United States of America called it a pesticide because they are scared it will spoil the market for their ZMAPP 'secret serum'. I knew it would come to this before hand. They cant believe a Nigerian can come up with a cure and after initial approval the Minister of Health and the Ethics committee quickly retracted because US FDA said so. We don't value what we have but have a bad mentality that it is only things approved by the West are good. The Chinese still use their indigenous medicines to treat illnesses in China and we stockup on foreign pharmaceuticals from the likes of Glasgow and Pfizer. Rubbish huh huh huh
