There is no difference between his hair colour and the yellow card.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Video Of French Air Strike In Mali by Guyman02:
The West are parasites who cling to their colonial past in Africa. Western fighters love blasting away at Africans and call civilians killed collateral damage.

Its a delight for them to watch Africans being bombarded and killed because the aint got nukes. Let them try the Iranians or Russians or North Korea which sank a South Korea warship in US face and nothing happened.
I dont trust the stories I read in MSM anymore. This is mostly wars for resources like we saw in Libya which is noe controlled by the same alqueda the fight in Afghanistan and support in Syria.
Foreign Affairs › Re: China Is Better For Africa Than The West by Guyman02: 1:49pm On Jan 15, 2013
In our local context between the Chinese and the West. (No tribalism intended) The Chinese is just like the average Igbo trader who is out to make profit from his business and not hiding it and who is not interested in how the Oba or Emir rules his community while the West is like a Hausa trader who comes to your community with beautiful promises and next he is telling you that Sharia (democracy) is best for you and wants to impose an Emir where an Oba is the ruler. If the community resists the (West/Hausa) they are called dictatorship/infidels attacked in a liberation war/jihad and invaded like the West did in Iraq and the Hausas in Plateau.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Finally Concedes Bakassi To Cameroon: Ahead Of Tuesday's Broadcast by Guyman02: 12:43pm On Oct 09, 2012
Gen Sani Abacha is getting popular by the day inspite of what the western media made us believe at some point. He told Cameroon point blank; we dont negotiate bakassi with instruction to our military to take out any Gendarme that enters the area.
GEJ has shown that he is weak President who easily concedes defeat. What is he going to tell Nigerian youths about not giving up until it is over?
Now a part of South-South has been sold out finally by their son who had no shoes to go to school at some point in his life.
PDP government is a dissappoint.
Crime › Re: Mother Of Lloyd (One Of The UNIPORT 4) Expresses Shock by Guyman02: 12:35pm On Oct 09, 2012
Emphasis: My hearts goes out to the Families, friends and sympathizers of the Four brutally murdered students. Its undoubtably a horrible way to die.
However i won't allow emotions to cloud my sense of reasoning... There is more to this killing than what meets he eye.
How will a parent know if their son was a cultist/robber or not?
Dont cultist/robbers go to church? Some are said to be discreet and well behave in the society. One thing i know about cultism in school is that cultist know themselves. Ask any cultist fren of urs in uniport, am sure they will give u a reliable status of the boys. As a neutral i dont know the truth.
However this issue shouldnt be jugde base on wether they were innocent or not... The way n manner in which they were killed is inhumane. Jungle Justice is bad, anyone could fall a victim.
Nothing justifies the brutal murder and lynching of young boys under any reason. ours is not a lawless society; if they had died in a shootout with military personnel or cultists is a different matter but for community to use logs to crush the heads of these boys is unexplainable.
Health › Re: My Nephew Has Autism, How Do We Manage It? by Guyman02: 6:02pm On Sep 18, 2012
My cousin has similar problem and I know what my Aunt goes through bringing up such a child. They hadly take her outdoors as she may embarass you by taking off her clothes in public and would refuse to put it back on. There seems to be only one centre in Lagos which refuses to take in more Autistic children because according to them many families just dump their kids there with a promise to regular to check up on them but they just disappear into thin air and dont come back.
It is scary as an expectant parent to think about when you or your wife is pregnant.

Politics › Re: Obi Calls For Renewed Assistance To Haiti by Guyman02: 10:53am On Sep 05, 2012
Danka7777: We all owe a great deal of honor and reverence to our Haitian brothers, perhaps our forbears. Historical Background: The Haitian revolution is the first and only successful slave revolution in the Americas. It signaled the end of slavery throughout the Americas. Armies of ex slaves led by Toussaint L'ouverture and Jean-Jacques Dessalines defeated armies of France, Spain and Great Britain in a twelve and the half-year revolution. 465,000 Black slaves joined the revolution and 150,000 died immediately in the revolution. These countries have never forgotten the defeat and valor demonstrated by the slaves. Today, Haitians are still paying for this and are economically being strangled.

Many of us don't know that Haiti is very much like South Africa. As with South Africa, Haiti has a minority white population that controls the wealth of the country. Haiti Not widely known, however, very reminiscent of what one felt under Apartheid in South Africa. You have whites who are enormously rich and well off. They represent only 1% of the Haitian population but control 60% of the country's wealth. And then you have the blacks who are defined as a category of citizenship as "peasants" or "servants". Could go on and on but will safe my thoughts for a special topic on Haiti
Thanks for this insight. Haiti has always been a slight in the face of their neighbour the United States who have left them poor and impoverished while giving aid to far countries, Cuba faced similar fate but they overcame because they had a strong revolutionary leader Fidel Castro.

Prayers will be said for the South East which contributed this gesture from that holy ground and God will shower his blessings upon Nigerian because of this act of generosity. Igbos dont believe that they are poor, they always believe that their condition is only a matter of time and things will get better. Thats why you will never have an Igbo suicide bomber. They never give up hope to succeed. I love their tenacity of purpose.

Politics › Re: Salaries Of Niger-delta Militant Warlords Revealed by Guyman02: 12:02pm On Aug 23, 2012
If only the Northern militants aka Boko Haram will ask for salaries and stop blowing up churches and Nigerians so many lives would not have been lost senselessly. The difference is that while the Niger Delta militants want there rewards here on earth the Northern militants are interested in the number of virgins that they will be rewarded with in the hereafter.
I would rather pay a militant than keep the money and have suicide bombers roaming about.... It is only the living that knows the value of money.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Hillary Clinton Warns African Leaders About Co-operating With China. by Guyman02: 12:48pm On Aug 06, 2012
odum desmond: i think that Africa should tyake heed of the advice of Hillary Clinton, Chinese are raping trhe economies of Africa. lets remove sentiments here, an American businessman who commits an economic crime in Africa is always severly dealt wiyh by American laws, we know many America businesmen who are undergoing trial in USA for acts of corruption and economic sabotagge in africa. we may recall Halliboutton, mr Jefferson and others whob are undergoing trial now or serving jail terms. How many Chinese businessmen are tried for several economic havoc they wreck in africa. what do we associate fake products with? Chinese ? conflicts in Africa are mostly fueled by Chinese arms dealer. it was evident in Sudan crisis etc.Chinese are businessmen without an atom of morality and never regulated or punished by laws in China/. look how our markets have been flooded with fake, counterfeit, substandard products killing our economy. America will never do that.
How many Americans are facing trial for all the exploitation and environmental degradation for over 50 years of oil exploartion in Nigeria. even when the UNEP asked them to cleanup Ogoni land have any action been taken? At least we can afford some of the items which the Americans will never allow you to learn the technology, but the Chinese leant how to steal it from the Americans and make it available to us whom the American media always decribed as poverty stricken and living below their dollar.
America is engaged in many wars than any other nation, did you know how many died and the future impact of using depleted Uranium in Libya just to remove Gaddafi from power even when the AU begged them to stop, but they continued bombing while the AU delegation led by Jacob Zuma was still in Tripoli.
How many wars are the Chinese presently fighting? Who is keeping corrupt African puppet leaders in power for several years China or the West?
If there is morality, the American forces wouldnt have wiped out an entire city Falluja in Iraq just to get some stubborn insurgents. Both China and America are after their interests but China is the lesser evil as you can see them giving a little more back to Africa than America who only give military aid tied to gay unions
Foreign Affairs › Re: Hillary Clinton Warns African Leaders About Co-operating With China. by Guyman02: 12:30pm On Aug 06, 2012
I travel on roads built by the Chinese in many parts of the country and the Chinese are seriously involved in infrastructure provision in Nigeria which we seriously need while the Americans are threatening us with withdrawing 'aid' if we dont accept gay marriage into our constitution. How many roads can you count in Nigeria that are built with America engineers and labour? no you can only see them in the niger delta living in gated quarters with so much luxury while the surrounding communities are heavily polluted and living below their famous dollar.
Clinton should not think that we are so daft in this days of internet not to know what is good for us. We can see their democracy at work in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia etc.
China is the lesser evil here and that is why her trip to Africa just like the one of last year when Libya was under heavy bombardment and the AU called for a ceasefire to save lives which was ignored until NATO destroyed everything in that country.

Family › Re: Is It Advisable To Tell My Wife How Much I Earn Per Month? by Guyman02: 10:44am On Jul 20, 2012
Thank you for your wonderful advice my dear friend. Each time I look at my beautiful kids, I feel the pains they will have to go through as a result of their mother's stupidity 'cos I haven't seen any alternative to divorce for my marriage so far (still seeking an alternative though).
In the estate where I leave, there is a banker that has been out of job for over two years now and the wife has been solely responsible for the upkeep of the home and the kids without any quarrel. The wife even had to opt for her company bus to and fro work daily while the husband uses the only car that is in order just to hustle. Thank God I have been able to invest in real estate enough not to depend on my wife even if I don't have anything doing again, but I don't see her having the kind of heart this my neighbour's wife has which is why I strongly feel it's better we go our separate ways now.
Op, sorry please. I have no intention to derail you thread but na wetin man see him dey take make parable. Best of luck to you and family.
If you dont have the kind of wife at bolded then think very well before you do certain things that may cost you your respect. She is not disturbing you about your income so why bring it up except if she starts demanding for morethan you can cope.
Family › Re: Is It Advisable To Tell My Wife How Much I Earn Per Month? by Guyman02:
I have tried to make her change and realise that money should not be the ultimate in the home but it doesnt seem to work. She would rather pay so much as tithe and tell me that is why she is getting blessed than give me the money to solve urgent issues

Thanks for the advice. I am an adult not an adolescent and when I married her I didnt see some of these traits because she was just a struggling youth corper and whom everyone said was homely and I thought so too, but when the money started rolling in for her everything changed. I have tried to be the best husband and father as much I can. Somethings I have to walk back from work to save money to buy bread and things for the kids in other to have my respect before them. I tried to report to my inlaws after every other thing failed against my pride, but because they see their daughter as successful and are happy for that, they find it hard to scold and probably she sends them amount which I cant afford to send to them.
I dont want to derail this thread but the point is that you have to know the kind of wife you have before becoming too open. Better to be quiet, but dont lie to her...
OP, let me share a personal experience.
I was earning 3ce my wife's salary before I got married and was very open about it, she opened up on hers as well and everything was fine. About 7 years later, she got a better offer that pushed her salary to almost same as mine. Then, her salary became a top secret and no discussions around it was welcome. She introduced the concept of "my money" rather than "our money" and on several occasions, blatanly challenged my authority at home even in the presence of outsiders sometimes. Thrice, I confronted her and informed her how her sudden lack of openness and respect was impacting on the marriagea and she paid deaf ears. A few months later, I got a much awaited breakthrough that made rubbish of her new salary. And yes, it was time for pay back. I informed her that the much awaited news has finally come and then, I changed the rules of the game -no more contributions to the home from her under any guise or form no matter how little, the new law became "keep your salary and do whatever you want with it but do not spend on anything for the family". If there's anything the family requires, I provide everything 100% and her opinion no longer counts in any decision-making process in the home. I solely take all decisions now without letting her know what my plans are. It's been over a year now and I have effectively regained my respect and control of the home back even though I notice she's beem very, very uneasy with the development. Unfortunately, I hardly forgive especially when I feel I have been deliberately hurt. My final resolve is to crash the marriage anytime now for her challenging my authority just because of a mere pay rise.
The clock is ticking ..........slowly but surely!
A lot of commenters here dont realy understand some of this issues. Yes, when you have an understanding wife no problem but otherwise hmm! I had a similar problem like you to the extent that my wife bought a flashy car for herself without even infoming while I had to trek and jump on buses because I had a broken down car and couldnt even afford to fix it for some time. I even asked her that our salaries should be paid into a joint account and she refused. every month I still have to bring enough money for the upkeep of the house and I am constantly under financial pressure and she doent seem to want to show some understanding. I cant seek for divorce because of the kids and just allow her to keep and spend her money how she so desires.
I have not been able to hit a breakthrough like you, so i just dey manage.
Family › Re: Is It Advisable To Tell My Wife How Much I Earn Per Month? by Guyman02: 5:23pm On Jul 19, 2012
Hmm! When you have other sources of extra cash apart from your salary on pay slip its easy to submit your pay slip to her for verification. But when you live entirely on what is on the pay slip it becomes difficult for her to understand that you have to send a sibling in school money when she has not done her hair except if your wife is an exceptional woman.
You can ask her for a joint account, but when she realises she earns more she may not want your salaries to be paid into the same account.
