Nigerian pop star, Kiss Daniel is currently embroiled in a legal battle with his erstwhile record label, G-Worldwide. Their case is already in court and the media is filled with reports, insinuations, court documents and some facts.


Since the story broke, LIB has been digging and talking to both parties involved and while the key players are avoiding the media as well as being quoted, their aides and sources close to them are talking.

Our investigations revealed that contrary to the denials by G-Worldwide in the press, Kiss Daniel was actually placed on a monthly salary of 30,000 per month all through the success of his hit single 'Woju'.


A highly placed source who spoke to LIB on condition of anonymity said,

'from the beginning of his contract (a 7 years and 5 album contract) he wasn't placed on any percentage rather Kiss Daniel was placed on a monthly salary of 30,000 (thirty thousand naira) up until 'Woju' remix was released then it was later increased to 50,000 (fifty thousand naira) before he insisted on a review of his contract in 2015 and by the second quarter of 2015 he began to receive 40% of his performance fees.

All the while he was collecting 30k, the boy already had a monster hit song 'Woju' and was raking in millions of naira'.
We asked for specifics to be sure of the period Kiss Daniel stopped collect 50,000 naira as salary and our source said, 'I really can't place the date but I'm sure he was on that salary till after the release of 'Laye'.

The song 'Laye' was released in May 2015

Our investigations also revealed that Kiss Daniel though wasn't legally barred from collaborations, his record label vehemently stood against it, 'the label categorically banned him from doing collaborations and made it look like he's the one avoiding it.

Or have you also seen his label mate, Sugarboy on any collaborations? The industry can testify to it, i won't mention names but we all know. All the superstars who came to support Kiss Daniel at his album listening party, he couldn't payback the favour when they needed him because the label prevented him from doing so.

Basketmouth even had to block him on Instagram because Kiss was supposed to do a show for him but his label refused and Basketmouth got angry thinking Kiss Daniel was the one playing games with him'.

We further learnt that the relationship between Kiss Daniel and his record label was filled with so much tension, hate, frustration and animosity as our source revealed that, 'Kiss Daniel couldn't even make it to his own father's burial because his label threatened him'.

We asked how? and they said, 'on the day of his father's burial, he already had a show that was booked and his label told him they don't care about his father's burial but he had to attend the show else he'll get sued.

At that time, Kiss Daniel was still on a monthly salary of 50,000 and two days before his father's death, his kid brother was also involved in accident that left him unconscious for weeks. The label only gave him 200,000 to buy 'coffin and fry puff puff' our source said.


Till date, we gather that Kiss Daniel has made no income from any digital sales of his music, no income from his endorsement apart from the 40% he makes from shows. The label didn't also provide him with an apartment or cars.


Though he stays in his own house and own a couple of choice rides, we gather that he's had to pay for the official car that was used to move him around in the early days of the career which has since been given to the younger brother of his recrod label boss, Emperor Geezy.

A Nigerian banker and activist, Safiya Stephanie Musa, has reacted as her old classmate has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC. The anti-graft agency declared Ugochukwu Sandra Alexandra Nneka from Nnewi area in Anambra state - wanted for conspiracy and obtaining money under false pretence.

Safiya Stephanie Musa took to Facebook to react to the news. Below is what she shared;

OK! My study so far about Morocco and Moroccans.. They are great investment partners with La Cote d'ivoire. As an ivorian, you can enter morocco visa free and there are lots of ivorian in morocco hustling. There is even an agreement for ivorians studying in Morocco and they enjoy great scholarship.. Ivorians goes to school in morocco.. Even some ivorian artist collaboarates with Moroccan artist as well as ivorian artist shoots videos in morocco since France is much cost for them.

Of late, moroccans has started coming to ghana to invest, one sector I am aware of is the wood industry. Working under Moroccans is good as they pay you very well. Unlike working with your own Ghanaians where the pay is small but Moroccans have this view with regards to pay as they tend to pay you as how they pay their staff in morocco.. I am just trying to compare what it is like working for them and when working alongside your own national who owns a business. The Moroccans are not like the Lebanese where they are greedy when it comes to salary payments or treating workers but I will not hide this fact as they also see themselves as Superiors because of their skin color and been the boss so there are occasions where they can be rude..

Well, I think it will be a plus if they join ecowas but I can say to you that Nigeria will still impose restrictions of certain goods that pass through ecowas borders and ports even if Morocco joins ecowas..

Oh I forgot, Moroccans are stinking rich.. Omo, fear their wealth.

Obviously, it has nothing to do with NNPC. It is all politics in play "do me I do you" but it has every bit to do with minister of petroleum.

1. An oil company's investment is liquidated into a private account? Very criminal.

2. The private account has nothing to do with the investment.

3. The private account belongs to the wife of the minister of petroleum.

Conclusion: The Oil company liquidated the investment into the account of the wife of the petroleum minister for onward delivery to the minister.

Purpose: to curry favor from the minister or payment for favour already rendered. Whichever way, it was an illicit transaction that most likely have no contractual agreement.

I have always noticed a portion of land at the right hand side of the road with two big gates immediately you descend the THIRD MAINLAND BRIDGE going towards Adekunle but I have never really thought it could be a hide out for the MEN of the UNDERWORLD but last week Friday I came in direct contact with them.
On my way home from work I took a bus from Obalende to Yaba which is my normal route to and fro work every day. Immediately the bus descended the third mainland bridge the conductor jumped down and two men opened the big gates while beckoning on the driver to drive in. This was at 7:00pm. As soon as I noticed it, I started shouting and telling him that it's not possible because there is no road there connecting Yaba (at least not any that I know of) the men and the conductor insisted and I continued shouting and holding the driver maintaining that he continued on the proper route or I get down from the bus ( while this was going on between I and the driver nobody in the bus talked . I also noticed a man in white regalia in front of me who I think was working with them because he kept stirring at me and never said anything rather he will look and face down as if he was pressing something ).
While struggling with the driver, one man at the back of the seat stood up and said he wanted to get down and if they have a bad plan it has failed starting with him(I was at the middle seat). So we became two that were continuous of the environment aside from the people I guess were in conjunction with the driver and others who didn't know what was going on.
Seeing that I was drawing attention because some other vehicles were slowing down, the driver made a U-turn back to third mainland bridge while making signs to those that opened the gate for him to join him and I kept shouting that he was a killer and that they want to either rob or kill us so he turned back to Adekunle.( I want to say here that the driver never defended himself or countered what I was saying)
After we entered Adekunle road, some of the passengers were startled because I continued talking about it as we drove along Herbert Macaulay road. According to them, they didn't even know what I was talking about (I concluded they were under a spell) .
I took it as one of those things after telling some members of my family the story that night.
But the story took a new turn this morning when a friend I boarded a bus with on my way to work told me that a guy left Ikorodu for UNILAG yesterday to defend his project and up til now his friends and family have not seen him and he has been declared missing.
While thinking of the danger so many people might be in right now, I decided to tell her my story and hoped she would also spread it to others but while narrating my story to my friend, the driver of the bus heard us and he confirmed that some mysterious things are happening there truly. He said that some people were rubbed under the same bridge two day ago after a bus drove into the same place and a man from his neighborhood was among the victims ( I believe it was a planned job between the robbers and the driver of the vehicle).
PLEASE pass this story to all your friends and family until it gets to the RIGHT SECURITY PERSONNEL. That PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED FAST because there might be some victims under the bridge right now.
