I stopped following that man on twitter when he was always connecting the former NSA, Late Owoye Azazi with Boko activities. He is a confused man. I pray that God in His infinite mercy will forgive him.

boladez: I agree with you that in terms of roads in Kosofe, yes LASG should do more but within Kosofe let me draw your attention to the following roads that the Fashola administration has fixed and repaired....I confirm I use these roads.

.Remember how that Agiliti (Opposite Mile 12 market) used to be . A huge refuse dump inhabited by criminals ...see what it is today

.remember how it took almost an hour to pass through the mile 12 market those days with traders selling on the medians and road check out how it is today

.remember all the side roads around Ketu bus stop were unmotor-able and now motor-able all the way to oladogba street, eleha and even the resurfacing of CMD avenue.

remember the resurfacing of Oluwakemi street and most of the adjoining streets. That is the major road that turns off at alapere

the ketu busstop has been transformed

Ogudu road and Ogudu ori oke road are there for all to see

Ketu toll gate road and many adjoining streets

On the issue of security , this is the work of the FGn and unfortunately Lagos state can only do so much. Can you believe that Ketu station has just 1 (yes ONE) patrol vehicle? and guess what , that is the vehicle given to them by LASG.

Water flows on the Ojota side of Ketu all the way to Magodo... the problem with the other side is the dense population and the extreme difficulties on running the water lines without major damage to property....again, these pipes are being hit by our people just for them to fetch water. My personal opinion is that portable water is one of our nice to haves in lagos. Almost every house has a borehole. Water is important but when we solve the issues of roads, power , security them we can tackle the wahala of pipebone water.

With the foregoing , fashola may be called upon to do more but cannot be said to be a failure.

Which ever way you look at it APC is well ahead of PDP in terms of real development I only pray things get better but its important for us all to register and vote for the right candidates in 2015.
Thank you for your detail response. My concern for Fashola is to stop associating himself with failed PDP politicians. He should face the task of delivering dividend of democracy to his supporters. Sincerely, I am not impress with his second term performance so far. Tell me, what stopped the street light projects on Ikorodu road beyond independent tunnel down to Ojota? He promised to take it down Ketu almost a year ago. He should leave the FG alone and face his business of working for Lagos. I voted for him twice in 2007 and 2011. Hence my high expectations from him.

boladez: Errr Sir, I disagree with you and know you have the right to your own opinion.....right or wrong.

Just a few points;

1. You did not know Lagos Pre1999
2. Are you sure you reside in Lagos or neighbouring states? tell me your area and I will list out the lasg projects there
Security is the work of FG not the state but despite the inability of the FGN to provide security LASg has taken bold steps with the Security trust fund. Google is your bro
3.He is simply stating the facts and which one of these do you disagree with.
Thank you for your civil response. I I know Lagos pre 1999. I voted Fashola in 2007. Due to his performance in 2007, myself and family voted him in 2011. But since he started his second term, he has not live up to my expectations. I live in the mainland. Kosofe LGA. I am telling you that a city like Lagos should not have problem with the provision of portable water in any of its part. But in today's Lagos, that is a big task. There are no good roads in Lagos. Don't forget that Lagos is not just Island, VI, Ikoyi and Lekki. Even the so called VI and Ikoyi, they don't have good drainage system. When it rains, the whole place will turn to a lagoon. Am saying we have a lot to be done in Lagos. I do not belong to any political party though I voted for AD and ACN in the previous election. I want Fashola whom I voted for in the last election to tackle the problem of infrastructural deficit in Lagos instead of dinning with ex PDP thieves.

Every body in your generation is cursed if what I posted is the truth. I live in Lagos, myself and my wife voted ACN in all elections except the presidential election where we voted Buhari in 2011. What makes you think am a PDP person?. God will punish you and every supporter of all the failed politicians who do not care about the people. Tell me what transformation has Ketu, Alimosho, mile 12, Ikorodu, Bariga, etc witness? Tell me how many places in Lagos you can get portable water to drink not to talk of good roads. You will die in your poverty supporting wicked politicians. Hypocrites!
PoliticsRe: The Full Text Of Gov. Fashola's Inspiring Speech That Rattled Aso-rock by gymer(m): 9:38pm On Aug 16, 2014
Fashola is also a failure in Lagos state na. No portable water, bad roads all over the places, poor drainage system, armed robbers and touts on the increase, etc. why can't he faces the business of governing Lagos instead of always looking for platform to attack the FG? Despite the huge burden of multiple taxes we are facing in Lagos, we don't feel any government presence, yet the man in the helm of affair is running his mouth everywhere. Attacking the FG is not what I voted him for.
PoliticsPresident Jonathan Congratulates Aregbesola On His Election Victory by gymer(op): 2:31pm On Aug 10, 2014
The statement reads:

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan congratulates Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State on his victory in Saturday’s governorship election in the state.

The President commends the Independent National Electoral Commission and national security agencies for ensuring that the elections were free, fair, credible and peaceful in keeping with the avowed commitment of his Administration.

President Jonathan also applauds the people of Osun State who came out en masse yesterday in all the local government areas of the state to peacefully and freely exercise their democratic right, trusting in his assurance that all necessary measures would be taken to ensure their safety and the sanctity of their votes.

The President believes that the free, fair and peaceful conduct of the elections have fully reaffirmed his administration’s determination to positively reform Nigeria’s electoral processes.

The outcome of the election has also given the lie to the false, unfair and uncharitable allegations that measures put in place by the Federal Government for the Ekiti and Osun State elections were partisan and designed to achieve a favourable outcome for his party.

As Governor Aregbesola prepares to begin a second term in office, President Jonathan looks forward to continuing to work with him and other state governors to further improve the living conditions of Nigerians in Osun and other states of the country.
He wishes Governor Aregbesola continued good health and a successful second term in office.

Do we still have a president? Why can't government coordinate, the campaign on Ebola disease like it is being done in other countries?

Just woke up now and discovered I missed 74 call and 24 text messages asking me to go bath with Salt around 5 am? Imagine?

crosbreaka: So because it is reported that one general did the shooting, you assume he is said to have been alone?
Please don't turn logic on its head. The man said that one Brig Gen Okuh did the shooting. He was very specific. I maintain my stand that a Brig Gen in the Nigerian Army will not stoop so low to shoot innocent boys by himself alone as alleged by the Shitte Leader.
PoliticsRe: Zakzaky Identifies Soldier Who Shot His 3 Sons by gymer(m): 11:44am On Jul 29, 2014
ShiaMuslim: this paid troll should stop spamming this thread with nonsense using different usernames.
in your mind the brig. gen left his bedroom alone on pajamas and slippers to arrest the kids and then kill them. can't you think that he must have been with his men, but he is being spotted and singled out because he is the highest ranking officer?
..."The name of the person who shot them was Brigadier General S. Okuh, he is the C.O. Engineer of Bassawa. When i demanded for the release of my sons through the GOC 1 Mechanized Division, Okuh said he would release them but not alive."

You must have your head examined to think that because I express a similar view with someone, I am a paid agent. Why is it that anybody that has a different view form you e-warriors is a paid agent? Check all my posts on NL, you will discover that I am not part of you guys.

See the man's statement above. He said clearly that Brig, Gen Okuh shot the children. He did not say the genera led the operation. Let's learn to speak with facts and not on sentiments. I don't know Gen Okuh but I am Nigerian who knows how the military operates, their efforts in securing us and will continue to appreciate them.
PoliticsRe: Zakzaky Identifies Soldier Who Shot His 3 Sons by gymer(m): 10:21am On Jul 29, 2014
I doubt this man's account. There is no way a Brigadier General will stoop so low to go on a stabbing spree in such a manner. Where were the Colonels, Lt. Colonels, Majors, Captains, Lieutenants, 2nd Liutenants, etc. We should have the fear of God in whatever we do.

cyril83: Using ekiti election to measure the level of intelligence and strategy is unaccepted. Military was used as merceneries to rig the election and fayemi was in haste to concede instead of seeking party's opinion first.
But you said APC is more powerful. How come they don't have a military to use as mercenaries?
cyril83: With or without jonathan, nyako is going nowhere jonathan and his visionless crew are only seeking for public apology from nyako.
Pdp is the ruling party but the opposition party ( Apc ) is more intelligent, powerful and strategic.
