My observation about the debate:

1. The panelists were not organized
2. They were biased
3. In terms of calmness and respect for other participants, I give it to Dosunmu
4. In terms of overall plan and solutions to the problem of governance in the state, Fasola is my number one
5. Other participants apart from Fashola and Dosunmu were there to perform comedy
6. Overall, Fashola won and so win my vote.

PoliticsRe: You Risk Arrest, Jonathan’s Camp Warns Buhari by gymer(m): 8:29pm On Mar 13, 2011
People are just here debating what they cannot influence. Buhari can be arrested if the authority found him wanting. I only think GEJ managers should not be the one calling for his arrest. That said,  the April election is for GEJ. NLanders cannot influence that. They will all keep quiet and face their bizs like they did when Atiku failed woefully.
PoliticsRe: Vice Presidential Debate - What Do You Think As You Watch by gymer(m): 12:01pm On Mar 12, 2011
No substance. The presidency of Nigeria is more than being a former bank MD or pastoring a church of less than 1000 members in one corner of Lagos. sheew!!!

PoliticsRe: A Dissection Of Bb And Goodlucksambo Manifesto - Part 1 by gymer(m): 9:31am On Mar 12, 2011
What a rubbish analysis? BB and their supporters think we are still in a militrary regime. Buhari for all his atrocities as a military dictator is on his way to hell; Bakare (the muslim turn christian for cheap popularity) who has abadoned his flocks and the so called calling of God upon him for politics is also on the same way and including all their supporters except they all repent.
PoliticsRe: Sss Moves Against Northern Elders by gymer(m): 9:19am On Mar 12, 2011
U de vex?:
Thanks dude, a lot of folk just cannot understand that Nigeria has moved on. They want us to keep doing the same old crude thing in the same old crude way; a tactic that has seen this country descend deeper into an embarassing mess with each passing year.

While the progressive and wiser set of Nigerians are strategising to build on the extremely provident set of circumstances the country has found itself in, we have a crude set that want to keep pandering to ethnic bigotry. Well, they can continue to wallow in their mud baths, but the rest of the country will move on and leave them behind.
I agree perfectly with you. GEJ or no Nigeria after April and let the SW go to Benin while North merge with Niger.

I want to see how bb will win, even if they win, they should be prepared to look for another source of revenue becos we will not allow them to touch our oil, i doubt they wld want to be president without oil money, although buhari can start sellin tomatoes and groundnuts with his unbridled animals, i'm sure bakare will have a good prophesy for him.
BB can never win. It is just a wide dream of false beings on NL that think the cloud of Almajiris that do not even have voter's cards will give BB a win come April.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan’s Convoy Pelted In Gombe by gymer(m): 9:02am On Mar 12, 2011
If Buhari cannot caution his supporters and keep going with the false mentality that the North is born to rule Nigeria, he is the greatest joker of the century. I am very sure that by April, we will all know whether this entity called Nigeria belongs to only the North or not. For my yoruba friends like Jason123 and blacksta, I can assure you guys that the SS are not cowards. We know what we are capable of doing. It is not about making noise on NL. April will tell.

South South youth, under the platform of South South Coalition for Good Governance, have warned that they would take action if President Goodluck Jonathan’s convoy were stoned again in the North.
Reacting to the experience the president is having in the North, in his electioneering, especially the report that his convoy was stoned in Gombe State yesterday, the group, in a statement by Perembowei George, warned that such action would no longer be tolerated. It said that nobody had monopoly of violence.

The statement reads: “We have watched with dismay and outrage the incessant stoning and pelting of the President commander-in-chief, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, during his recent tours and campaign in some states of the country.

“This will no longer be tolerated, as nobody has a monopoly of violence. Other campaign organisations have campaigned in the South South and many other parts of the country without molestation or obstruction and most recently Gen Muhammad Buhari in Rivers State, where he was welcomed and allowed to solicit votes freely in a safe and peaceful atmosphere.

“In this vain, we hereby state categorically that we shall retaliate in equal proportion should Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan be stoned again during his campaign in any part of the country.
“We call on all peace loving Nigerians to prevail upon these enemies of our national unity to desist from their nefarious trade. If the South South is good enough to produce the resources of this country, the people of the South South should be good enough to produce the President of Nigeria. We have nothing against the rest of the country. Let the best and most acceptable candidate emerge to lead us. A word is enough for the wise.”

A word is enough for the wise!
