YorubaKinging:I listened to the message today. This publication is misleading and most of the people here swallowed everything as published. From what I heard today, the man did not say God said... He only jokingly told his Pastors to prepare for more naming ceremonies next year. Below is my notes from his message for anyone that cares to get the truth instead of this sensational publication. Text: Romans 8:28 KJV [28] And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. There is nothing that happens in the life of a child of God that is not going to lead to testimonies. Somebody said "Testimony is the baby of a test. Miracles are babies of impossibilities". All things including afflictions, Ps 119:71. The bigger the problem, the greater the testimony, Jn 11:39:45 We are used to miracles in RCCG. That big problem in my life will soon result in big testimony. According to Mark 10:46-52, the name Bartimeaus would not have been in the Bible if he was not born blind. Peter came in contact with his destiny in Luke 5:1-11 after an all night failure. All things work together for good, including lockdown. Examples of those that good things happened to during lockdown are: 1. David, 1Sam 22:1-2, 2Sam 23:8-39. They become mighty during lockdown. 2. Elijah, 1King 17:17-24. He grew to be a spiritual giant, the first to raise the dead 3. Joseph, Gen 40:1-42, he grew from a dreamer to interpreter of dreams. In Gen 41:1-44, he became a prime minister of the most powerful nation on earth at that time from lockdown What do you do during a lockdown? 1. Rejoice, Phil 4:4, 1Thes 5:16 2. Praise God, 1Thes 5:18 3. Pray, 1Thess 5:17. There has never been a greater opportunity than now to pray. 4. Study, 2Tim 2:15 5. Mediate, Josh 1:8. Think of what you have read and have studied. 6. Receive visions for your future. Vision usually come when you are locked down. Read the book of Revelation. John the Beloved was locked down in the island of Patmos. In Joel 2:28, we are to see vision. Read Prov 29:18. God speak to people who are not in a hurry to leave his presence. 7. After you have receive the vision from God, plan what next to do as soon as the lockdown is over. After the plan, hand it over to God, Ps 37:5. 8. Clean up your house and your immediate surrounding., Deut 23:14 9. Lighten your house by giving out what you don’t need. The water in a river is always flesh because it is always flowing. What is old flows away that flesh one may glow in. According to 2Corith 9:11-12, some people will praise God on your behalf when you give those things to them. 10. Pray for Daddy GO and all your leaders. They need prayers. Some people think he doesn’t eat that he is the original Enoch. In 1Thess 5:25, Paul said so. He repeated it in 2Thess 3:1. Pray for your Pastors. Pray for your leaders. They need your prayers. In conclusion, the test we read said all things work together for good for those who love God and not for everyone. The lockdown will bring miracle signs and wonders and not to everyone. Prov 8:17 says love is a two way traffic. God says I love them that love me and they that seek me early shall found me. In Pro 8:35-36, He said if you find me, you find life. If you sin against me, it means you hate your soul. Because those who hate God love death. So, if you have not given your life to God, love yourself by loving God. Seek him. You can’t beat God, join him today. Prayer: Father, please let this lockdown work for my good. I know this topic will reach 20 pages because idle and lazy Nigerian youths derive pleasure from insulting men of God and the things that pertain to God. Put a topic around science, technology, IA, investment, etc; you will not see up to 5 pages. No wonder the country is this backward. Channel your energy to things that will add value to you and humanity. Bishop Oyedepo has done more for himself, this country and humanity than most of you wasting your time on his personal opinion which he is entitled to. |
joepepsy:How many suffering people have you helped? Leave him alone and stop calling him names because he has the right to spend his money including payment of tithe. |
sarrki:it is wrong of you to call commentators here kids. Everybody is entitled to his/her opinion. Question for you, is Kano not sharing from the 52% to state? |
taylor89:Amen! |
agulion:Not true. Two of my elder brothers married from my village. My immediate elder brother’s wife is even somehow related to us but by tradition are permitted to inter marry. The two marriages are hell on earth. I married outside my state and my tribe. I married my friend and my course mate in the university and by the grace of God, our marriage of about 12 years has been and is still heaven on earth. At a point in my life, when I saw what was happening to my elder brothers, I vowed not to marry until God used my friend who is now my wife to convince me that my own could be different. We went into it and have never had any reason to regret. All you have to do is to make God the foundation of your marriage and every other things will fall in place. I pray that the Almighty God will console the Prof’s family and touch the heart of the other family from Benin-City to allow the young man reconnect with his paternal family. |
OkCornel:You can decide to go for the curses and allow others to pick the blessings. It is your choice, if your understanding of the Bible did not tell you that those curses are for the disobedient and enemies of God. |
I know of somebody who prayed this kind of prayer, and for the first time in his organization, he was made the head of a department when he was not yet at the grade level to become an head of a department. He was later promoted to that grade level the following year. The things of God are foolishness to the unsaved. |
kiix:Done. I wish you all the best. |

An Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has dismissed a suit seeking to disqualify the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, from participating in the 2019 gubernatorial elections. The court, presided over by a judge, Inyang Ekwo, ruled that the applicants brought their request outside of the stipulated time. The court agreed with lawyers representing Mr Wike, who viewed that the request did not conform to demands of section 285 (9) of the 1999 Constitution. The court also described the instant application as an abuse of court process. The applicant, Elvis Chinda, had approached the court with a request for it to determine whether Mr Wike was not liable of providing false information to the Independent National Electoral Commission. He also asked the court to determine whether the alleged misinformation was not sufficient to nullify Mr Wike’s candidacy in the March 9 election. However, in a ruling on Friday, the court held that Mr Chinda’s case failed woefully for want of evidence. Mr Ekwo ruled that the failure of the applicant to present credible witnesses to back his arguments was fatal to his own application. The judge said the documents presented in court were doubtful, as nothing was brought to show that the documents were legitimately obtained from the Independent National Electoral Commission. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/south-south-regional/318414-election-court-dismisses-suit-seeking-to-nullify-wikes-candidacy.html |
CuriousX:An High Court asked them not to do the primaries until the resolution of the case before it. The two factions disobeyed and held parallel primaries. The court later nullified the parallel primaries for disobedience of court orders. |

Meanwhile the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) called it absorb [correction = absurd] and unacceptable, but the Federal Government insists that the ongoing trial of the judges alleged to be corrupt and not the entire judiciary as agued (instead of argued) by the NBA. Even though I'm a born again Christian, I'm so ashamed of this bastard called Oyedepo for frolicking with same Fulanis he was hypocritically condemning on his fraudulent alter. May thunder strike Oyedepo and his fraudulent colleagues claiming to be men of God. Useless idiots. You will never find Muric or Miyetti Allah leaders moving around with politicians yet they fight for Muslims. Fools like Oyedepo is the reason why we sane Christians are ashamed to associate with Christianity
