Imagine a guy who's been going after a lady for 6 months, to no avail, all because he's told the truth about himself.  If he sees his window of opportunity closing, he will look to capitalize on her weaknesses.  You can't deny the fact that an average woman is emotionally weak.  Hacking away at that weakness will probably work for the suave man 95% of the time.

I don't think it's all about the appearance. It's more about exploiting whatever opportunities you see presented to you to get what you want. You use what you have to get what you want, right? From experience most men would know that the truth doesn't usually get them where they want.

Like I said before, I know how I look, my mirror does not lie to me, so it's a 99% probably I wouldn't want him to lie to me about my appearance when I know damn well I look crappy that night.

Anyway, I forgot this discussion is about appearance. Maybe if someone opens a thread about how gullible women are, I will write more on this there.
