For a start, I’m not a gold digger nor am mine looking for someone to take care of my bills.

A little bit about myself. I’m 32 and I’m from a humble background and by the grace of God, my hustle don begins to pay. I'm a graduate and works in a popular oil and gas firm with a monthly take-home of seven-digit. But base on the fact that I'm from a humble background and God don give me breakthrough, I'm supporting my families (siblings) and sometimes friends who are still hustling to establish themselves.

So I am a bit careful to date a lady who is the supporting member of her family as well, otherwise, support responsibilities may fall back on me as the man if one marries such lady. And no matter how much one think he earns, too many dependents can weary one progress and a tree can't make a forest. This engineer my desire to marry a girl from a well-to-do family, even if she doesn't earn much, but her family shouldn't be a liability. I have a reservation of being the ‘look-up-to’ person in my family and as well the ‘look-up-to’ person in a wife family as well. While one may be grateful to God for being able to be looked up to, the pressure of demand/expectation may be overwhelming and could slow one’s progress and one runs the risk of not having who to run to when his own need arises because everyone around has always looked up to you.

But the challenge is to see and get a girl from a well-to-do family is hard. Is either I can't find any or the few I meet always an attitude issue and are hardly submissive. Meanwhile, I have seen decent ladies from a humble background who are equally making some progress in their own right, but i lost interest when I get to know of their family background because of my biased to marry from a well-to-do family. Besides the benefit of not having many dependents by marrying from a well-to-do family, I covert the benefit of been related to in-laws who may have some sort of relevance and influence.

I have this feeling I am settling for less than I originally desired when I see decent ladies but they are from a humble background that I do not advance things with them.

Please, I want to know if this my obsession of marrying from a well-to-do family is reasonable or I am taking it overboard. I just want to hear people opinions about my line of thought and be sure I am still in touch with reality and not just be idealism.

I’m not doing badly for myself. I have a three bedroom flat, have the latest gadgets and console with a six figure amount in my account and counting. But u see I have a mental disorder that was caused by societal pressure since I was a kid. Everyone has always raised the bar for me to be special and extraordinary since I was little. Because I look so different in a cute way and have this different way of thinking people think I’m “unique”. But it reality I’m not, I’m just an average normal person but nobody sees or treats me like one. There’s no day I will come out of my house that people won’t be staring at me weirdly. Sometimes it’s so creepy that I start to think maybe I’m actually “special”. I start to want to be greater than I already am, I start to feel like a superhero and thoughts of going into serious fraud starts to creep into my head. God knows I wish people would just stop treating me like I’m something great I would be at peace but I can’t control how people treat or see me. Been so frustrated my adult life and I don’t know what all this pressure may make me do one day. I have no talent or else I would go into entertainment since it fits how people treat me but since I don’t have one the only other way to impress society is to be a serious fraudster. I want to be normal, average but nobody that ever sets their eyes on me ever sees me that way. I just left the atm machine one pretty girl stared at me so much she almost got hit by a car that was about to reverse. This is supposed to be nice if not that it makes me feel like a failure, maybe I should be impressing people. Buying fancy clothes and all. Please advise me, I’m losing my sanity.

I don't think being all good can be a characteristic that will determine a god's existence. For all we know maybe it is a capricious god that's why we have so much pain in this universe. Maybe its not even all powerful or maybe there are more than one and they keep killing themselves off.

My personal favorite is the gods are afraid of our weapons. If gods are still using horses and chariots while men have tanks, submarines and airplanes, maybe the gods are afraid to challenge us for fear we will mow them down in a hail of bullets, shells and missiles. LMFAO!

Abeg Lagos state or federal govt should fix oshodi to iyana-ipaja road, his crazy spending 3 to 4 hours instead of 20 min drive


If your flight his 4pm you must leave home by 10am.
