johnydon22: My posts are not as long as this joor ..
Lalasticlala and other mods tire me.. Many of science topics that deserve front page to reach a wider audience are being neglected like this https://www.nairaland.com/2869435/10-most-strange-stars-known
and dozens of them i have on my timeline and many others here... They are just neglecting science topics to champion topics that of no use to people or in anyway contribute to their intellectual development..
That's why when many NL's talk about science you will almost poo your pants.. Because they don't give science topics half the attention they give to Snakes or girls rocking cleavages Well, seun is delivering a service and his "customers" demand topics requiring low IQ. I really do not blame him |

titosantana: Na wa for una o.
How did he finish them? Were they competing for something or what? They were doing the questioning which is their job and he was there blabbering. They were taking sides and it was too obvious I agree with him totally, Buhari is actually clueless, even more than Jonathan, about to to handle the economy. I believe Martin Onovo will be the presidential candidate to watch out for if he decides to rerun for the presidential elections in 2019. |

titosantana: I didn't watch it live. I only did when I saw this topic, and I had to watch it over and over again on youtube.
This is however what I deduced from the interview :- 1) Mr. Onovo is an Agbero
2) Mr. Onovo has a wax in his ear
3) Mr. Onovo is impatient
4) Mr. Onovo is loud-mouthed
5) Mr. Onovo has a strong Igbotic accent (that's part of one's identity anyway)
6) Chamberlin was professional and he kept his head cool. He's questions were unbias and impeccable.
7) Sulaimon was mature, calm and observant
8.) Maupe's questions too were impeccable but she got emotional (I'm sure she was wondering how could a former presidential candidate be this obstinate and razz?) Proof? I saw that video and the trio were obviously partisan. Onvo finished them completely. They embarrassed their profession |

Hiswordxray: The problem with many Christians is that they don't understand God's ways neither do they understand spiritual things. Do you think human are capable of living the Christian life? Do you think we have what it takes to live the perfect life that God wants us to live? If so, then you are a fool. Yes, you have been fooled.
You cannot live the Christian life that is why God sent is Son to come live in us and live the Christian life for us. "Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." (Gal 2:20)
A true Christian is one who has refuse to live so that Christ can live through him. A Christian focus is on the indwelling Christ who seeks to express himself through the Christian.

HungerBAD: Fake Pastors everywhere.
It is the one that get BUSTED like this, that are called fakes. But, what about those who never gets caught?and still go ahead to be hoodwinking the members of the Public with Voodoo?
This is why i keep telling people that the best church is, when you are in your Bedroom yourself, just kneel down and pray to God directly, and our GOD usually Listens.
About them we cut this Middlemen parading as Pastors out of the Picture, we should learn how to talk to God directly. It's a waste of time. God doesn't exist. The pastor is nothing but a mugu to the traditional herbalist that gave him the charm |

plaetton: When a person shows common sense and sincerity , as this op is showing, then it no longer matters what he or she personally believes. I am gladdened the op's religious convictions do not becloud his judgement on what is right and wrong, what is fair and unjust.
If he was my neighbor, I have absolutely no issues with his beliefs, because he is showing that he is humane and fairminded.
So, to remind our religious friends once again; We mock the silly things that religious beliefs make you do, not that you have and are entitled to a belief . True. Dearpreye is one of my favorite nairalanders and he is always mature in his comments. Except when he is supporting "the clueless one". Lol. You both have that in common And he is certainly on his way to agnoticism |

gcode123: Bro I feel your pain. I can relate. Too many examples of these things. But one thing is certain, God is not in support of these actions and I would say that to the face of any preacher if necessary. Don't let them make you backslide nd keep standing for the truth even if it goes against a church norm. And why is god doing nothing about it? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Nigerian Churches And The Culture Of Extreme Exploitation by hahn(m): 11:29am On Jan 19, 2016 |
dearpreye: I brought forward an issue to requires very simple and common sense to address but someone turned the logic on its head, subtly maligned me and then..... Lol. You never see anything My boss, I'm convinced Christ is real; I've got very personal convictions on that BUT the vast majority of us Christians are still far from the tenets of it. I have personal convictions that the toothfairy is real too. But it's still nothing more than a personal belief. That doesn't make it true or a fact. Just as no one needs to convinced that the sun is real, apparently, it makes little of no sense for the issue of an almighty god should be debatable to the extent of having over 4,000 different explanations. It's all good though. I love that other thread of yours. Keep up the good work. One. |

BLWeb: I agree with you but doing this is going to be in the long term. What i suggest the FG does quickly is to build human resource capacities. Invest heavily in building small businesses and give out loans with zero interest and grants for small businesses to start local production and manufacturing what we need, and also the FG should declare an emergency on agriculture, encourage the youths to go into farming, the positive effect will be a cushion to battle austerity in the long term.
What will work faster is encouraging youths who are starting out as entrepreneurs and give them room to shine, in turn they will train others and the circle keeps on going till the only word we hear is small businesses and entrepreneurship. Nice idea. I think the government should give out loans and own 1% shares of each business raised. If they can sponsor 10,000 businesses within 10 years, the government will have constant cash flow from these business that will serve as an alternative source of income on it's own. Unfortunately, our politicians have proven over time that they are not too smart |
