Teempakguy: you know, i think the reason for this is because the guy died two thousand years ago. we don't always get what we want. i mean, I wanted to have a relationship with marie curie, my crush. but she died. so . . .
you know, i think there is a PERFECT way to resolve all of this. jesus, while he was alive gave us two key statements.
1. Not one of my words will ever pass away or become irrelevant. 2. ask ANYTHING in my name and i will DO IT.
So, let us fix a date, right? and we can just gather as jesus said, you, me, hahn and ifeness. and we can just pray this simple prayer.
and then, jesus should of course, appear. and we will have his desired relationship. at least until the police catch us and sentence us to fourteen years in prison on account of homosexuality. You're really getting good at this |

I am going to burn some copies of the quoran today to see if allaah will protect it from being burnt by me. I've been using bible pages as rolling paper for weed and yahweh/jehovah hasn't done anything about it either. I guess they are both busy fvcking each other |

Papist: qq Thank you sir for being open minded. I am a devout Christian and I respect the rights of atheists to not believe in God. However I would also like to say militant atheists like hahn who would rejoice at the death of Christians for their faith are moronic and disgusting human beings who don't understand that Islamists kill everyone who does not think like them. Lol @ "militant atheists". You guys seem to chose not to acknowledge my jab at that muslim dude. I'm only pissed that someone in his right sense would die for a delusion. Where was god when they laid down their life for him? PS: Those dumb muslims kill muslims too so I don't know what the fuss is all about |

You even had the nerve to say google is also a problem but failed to mention nairaland. If you can answer my questions straightforwardly, then I'll know you're serious. For now, this thread belongs in the jokes section. Your thread wreaks of ignorance of Nigerian history and what it means for a country to have values. Why didn't you mention that Nigeria needs to stop lynching suspected criminals or that Nigerians need to go back to when a Yoruba man could become the governor of Kaduna state or a hausa man could become governor of Imo state. Next time, think before creating a thread |

The purpose of this message is to extol the values of a man that died for a noble and enduring cause. @bolded, this is where the present youths of Nigeria will stop. To die in Nigeria for any cause is synonymous to being non existent. In this country, heroes are not celebrated and history is untold. Truly, great men do what they must not because of any reward but because of whatever cause they are fighting for. In saner climes, heroes are role models and whoever steps out to identify an error is regarded with respect. The same cannot be said for Nigeria where you risk getting arrested for reporting a crime or even worse, risk being labelled a f00l for doing the right thing. This had better make front page because the last time I checked, Anini was there and I no see wetin the guy do wey warrant such exaltation. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Do You Have The Courage To Question Your Beliefs And Worldview? by hahn(m): 5:44pm On Nov 12, 2015 |
A lot of things come into play here. The very thought that one might have been wrong all these years and most especially that one's parents(our beliefs are most likely imposed on us by them) might be wrong is what most people dread.
How can you suddenly come to the conclusion that your parents are wrong and have been deluded all this while? How do you tell them? Will they listen? What will people think? What if one is wrong and god does exists, then I'll be going to hell fire? If one is wrong, god might never bless one and one will have to live his life in poverty and misery etc.
These are some of the psycological questions that need to be overcome before one can challenge one's own belief and subject it to scrutiny.
However, it would be ignorant not to question ones beliefs because afterall, we are all humans and it is very possible for us to make mistakes therefore it is necessary to question the norm in order to create room for development. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Christianity,the Dying Religion by hahn(m): 2:55pm On Nov 12, 2015 |
bxcode: Am glad you asked, all those denominations you mentioned are all human expressions of what they feel is the right way to fellowship with their creator. Religion started with man and not with God. The true way of life is through one man Jesus and any doctrine of man that goes against the doctrines of Jesus will make the power and the benefits that comes from believing in Jesus of non effect in such a persons life. Do you know that Jesus has his doctrines, teachings and way of handling world issues too? Check out Mathew 7;28 And when it comes to atheist and other religion, i can tell you that Christianity is a unique doctrine and way of life from other religious belief systems, from Islam to Buddhism etc. You wana know how? Lol. Atheism is not a religion because it doesn't stem from any belief system. It is simply the unbelief in a supreme entity. As for the rest of what you said, that's what other religions say. Oh, the only reason why they are so many different denominations as you have rightly pointed out is because they are all man made. Just like man created god and decided to worship it. It's pretty simple really |

I have some things to add though

14. Improve on your cooking
15. Suck his dick |
