Neyoor: 1 Corinthians 7:8-9 "Now I say to those who aren’t married and to widows it’s better to stay unmarried, just as I am. But if they can’t control themselves, they should go ahead and marry. It’s better to marry than to burn with lust"
If you are struggling with wanting to have sex, get married. Premarital sex isn’t an option for dealing with lust. It’s either marriage or you are in sexual sin. Me and my wife had sex before we got married. What does that make us? |

Neyoor: Although, I'm not a christian but which version or chapter of your bible preaches that you should kill unbelievers?
And for the fact that the story is an obvious example doesn't change the fact that virginity is still so much a pride. For the fact that we see people dying of motor accident doesn't mean that people should avoid the usage of it, so it is impossible to preach for pre-marital sex because the above story justified someone of falling a victim. it is immoral and unethical to indulge in sex out of wedlock. Our religions even preach against it. I reiterate Lol @ immoral and unethical. Who are we to determine that? The beef you eat is worshipped in India. The pork meat I love so much with with bread or kpokpo garri is an abomination in some religions. Some people believe Jesus Christ is the path to heaven while other don't. Some people believe in capitalism, some in socialism, some in communism. Some countries are right hand drivers, others left hand. Some people offer you tea while some offer you kolanut. So, who's right? Deuteronomy 13:6-11
If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or your daughter or the wife you embrace or your friend who is as your own soul entices you secretly, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods,’ which neither you nor your fathers have known, some of the gods of the peoples who are around you, whether near you or far off from you, from the one end of the earth to the other, you shall not yield to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him, nor shall you conceal him. But you shall kill him. Your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. You shall stone him to death with stones, because he sought to draw you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. ... |

babaijesha1: Describing Buhari as the "only Nigerian with integrity" is an insult to ALL hardworking and honest Nigerians. Whoever promotes such assertion should be flogged mercilessly for being so sťupid like my former dog bingo I agree. People should just try me as president. In fact, every single politician will be investigated while in kirikiri. By the way, what happened to bingo? Did you peppersoup him or barbeque him? |

tosyne2much: I will like to subscribe to your point as to why we shouldnt grade morality by religious law, but mind you, even our customary and medical law states that abstinence is the key to avert the implications that comes with premarital sex That one dey but that doesn't make it a standard. |

Neyoor: Apart from the fact that the scriptures preached against pre-marital sex. It is immoral and unethical to indulge in pre-marital sex.
This is a pypocritical statement. The bible advises believers to killl unbelievers, how many have you killed?
Why is then the need for honeymoon when the honey (Virginity) is no more there?
Honeymoon is not only about sex
For the fact that a pastor is an impotent doesn't mean that those that are against pre-marital sex are all impotent. The success of a marriage doesn't depend on whether the couple had sex before or after the wedding date. This story is an obvious example |

Are you implying unmarried ladies and dudes are licenced to bleep anytime any day, at the expense of pleasure ? Far from it but you're the one that brought religion into this Everyone should do as they please and be ready to take responsibility for their actions. We can't continue grading morality by religious and mundane laws. |

Neitzsche: premarital sex is evil?. Thats a new one. I personall feel that premarital sex is subject to individual preferences and/ or societal pressure. If anybody wants to fück like a dog, then fine; but whatever happens after should be the person's business. Unfortunately, religious folks are not very good at minding their own business |

adeaks: Says who?!!!!!
Happiness is an individual feeling and therefore relative so you cant just make a blanket statement like that.
It's one thing to be in a relationship, it is another thing entirely to be happy. There are people in relationships who are fed up with their nagging, troublesome over-jealous girlfriends/wives. Some of them even earnestly long for the time they were single and living a less stressful life. Marriage or being in a relationship is not an automatic ticket to happiness.
A man can be very happy being single and successful. @your last line, I don't agree. I do agree that we don't need anyone to be happy. But, at a certain point in one's life you will need someone to aid in carrying the weight of this world. Do you live alone or with your parents? |

Lmao. . my best guess is that we might establish interplanetary and galactic diplomatic ties with these advanced life forms .
Watch this cartoon called "Miles from tomorrow" it is a futuristic cartoon of how man's space science and technology will improve and how easy and much more we will understand the universe owing to the diplomatic ties developed with many alien species under one banner TTA... we are all products of this universe Why is everyone of the opinion that aliens, if they exist, will be more advanced than us? What if aliens just happen to be more primitive than us? Let's take Mars for instance, it can be possible that whatever life that exists there do not have the intelligence to harness their resources like we have and might even find the first landing of earthlings as a visitation of the gods |

nseke: if i understand you point, then what is your take-i mean do you believe Christ will come again, this time not as a Lamb but a Lion It is already 2015. Jesus wouldn't fit in this century because even Christians will disown him. Do you think Oyedepo or Adeboye will be ready to give up his private jet for Jesus? Or are they going to refund all the tithes and offerings they have received? |
