Fashion/Clothing Market › Re: Easy Steps To Maintain Your Pure Human Virgin Hairs by hahn(op): 9:35am On Mar 03, 2015
hahn:
1. We suggest that you wash the hair at least once a month with warm or cold water. When dirt and sweat accumulate, hair tangles. Too much leave-in conditioners and other hair care products will create a build up on the hair and will cause it to tangle faster. If the hair feels dry or heavy with build up, wash it with a good moisturizing shampoo & conditioner.

2. Make a couple of big braids when going to sleep, swim, or exercise (comb through the hair before making the braids). NEVER SLEEP ON WET HAIR. Make sure the hair is completely dry before going to bed.

3.Make and use a leave-in conditioner. You can also make a leave-in conditioner at home by diluting conditioner (10%) with water (90%). Apply the mixture lightly onto your hair and brush the hair from the end to the top near the scalp.

4. Make sure you brush your hair daily, start from the ends and go up. Treat the extension hair like your own hair. You should be able to take a small tooth rat tail comb and comb through without any problems.

NOTE: Virgin hairs are of better quality and can be dyed, relaxed, rolled, etc and you can swim with it. Its basically natural hair and can last for more than 5 years while treated hairs can't go through those procedures but it will last for up to 2 years as long as you take good care of it.

Feel free to ask us any questions related to your pure Virgin hairs. Also want to know what hair care product to use? Feel free to contact us anytime.

Op, you should be looking for how to start a business instead. I'd advice you go into marketing/sales on commission basis. Banks are about to start laying off people and very soon everyone will run out of jobs.

You are obviously smart and have a brain plus you are willing to take action and people like you easily succeed running their own business. You can give it a try

Read and Understood.

OP, I just got married last year and my wife asked me last month saying... that I attended a top UK University and at the end didn't marry a girl that did same or someone in my cadre like a Nigerian University Graduate but I just laughed and then explained to her what you just described... ...

I stand to be corrected but I told her that I dont trust them... Most of them are runs girls cos I also attended Yaba Tech and I hear UNILAG girls stories cos they are so close to us like lips and nose.

There are exceptions, which I dont want to delve into but the bad ones don paint the good ones bad and they all look greyish to everyone.

I would prefer a lady that did OND or just Advanced Levels, work and then do part time school studies... To me, they are more material than those in full time school that have gone greyed.

When I was in YABATECH, I dated a lady and at the end of the courtship, she mentioned the conditions that pushed her into dating in school and most especially someone like me.

1. I was brilliant and I pass without reading cos while in lecture room, I seem to grab everything and don't need to read so I can devote my time to teach her the more. [This she got cos I had enough time to teach her thereby knowing it more myself cos i love programming and calculations... even for exam revisions, she does not give me any breathing space to read but only to teach her, which is at no expense for me]
2. I was the class governor and so, she has upper hand with the lecturers. [Lecturers will even call me to see her paper (ODO) before being marked lol funny right? and Dating the governor made some other lecturers excuse dating her for me]
3. Funds. [I gave it to her cos money NEVER [always] came on time from Ijebu and I should be there to support]

She got full package and she got the best deal.
I hope you are no longer a mugu. I will have to first be dead before doing those things you mentioned. Warri can never carry last

Proudly a wafarian!

And you just sit there obeying everything. undecided

That was how one time I went to a church with my cousin during the holidays and the pastor was preaching endlessly.

Hunger don dey fire me as I no chop before I comot house.

Service started at seven and it was already 10 with no sign of its end at all. I was feeling very dizzy and so I decided to go outside and rest in the car and maybe probably find something to eat outside before I faint there.

Immediately I stood up and was walking towards the back door I heard a loud cry.

"And that is one of the demons over there! They can appear in different forms,,this one is looking calm and presentable,,ushers bring him forward"

They brought me forward to the pastor and I was really confused on what to say.

My shouts of "i'm not a demon! I'm not a demon o" aggravated the whole issue.

If you see SLAP! shocked

I just kept dumb and let them continue with their prayers. sad

I never went to that church with my cousin again.
Hahahahahahahahahahahah. Bro, you just killed me. Na lie!

What's the name of the church please, so I can know to avoid it. Thanks

How can you compare the prices you paid decades ago to present day? Prices of goods or services don't remain constant.
Are you aware that the price per barrel of crude oil is at an all time low. Nigerians SHOULD be paying less for refined fuel products if we refined the products ourselves or just for the simple fact that that the price of crude oil is low. Do you realise that Nigerians pay more than any other oil producing state for petroleum products. Its similar to a tailor not being able to afford clothes at a time when his business is booming

I agree with you 100%. But if the government can play their part I guess Nigeria will be a great country. parents cannot do it all alone they need help.

Unfortunately the people that should be effecting that change are interested playing st.pid politics. Always interested in few hand down little change from the politicians instead of everlasting change
Citizens should play their own part. The average Nigerian only complains without doing anything to change him/herself
Family › Re: Living With Your Parents And You're Above 18: Whose Fault? by hahn(op): 10:31am On Mar 02, 2015
Richy4:
I agree with you to some extent. Remember it is the middle class and below middle class kids we are talking about here. Some parents can bearly afford 2 square meal in a day not to talk of saving.

I totally agree that some skills be learned so that one can measure up and be ready to face the storm of life. By the time the certificate job was not available, they can see something to fall back on.

I equally maintain that Government should play their own part so that young adult can get out of their parents house.

in most developed world, once you clock 18, you will be receiving some grants that can cover your rents and other bills ie if you are not working. All these are fonded by tax payers.

So what where they doing with money that the tax payer are paying in Nigeria. Not that there was good road or good water Supply.
We've been waiting for donkey years and still the government haven't done anything. Parents can play their own part by raising disciplined and responsible kids(by responsible I mean being able to take care of themselves and accepting responsibility) who will grow up and add value to the society.

That can bring some change
Family › Re: Living With Your Parents And You're Above 18: Whose Fault? by hahn(op): 9:21am On Mar 02, 2015
Richy4:
The parents has no part to play on this.

Let's say you graduate from secondary school, some will write JAMB for two or three times.

Then you gain admission into university. Then the university strike will slow you down.

Then you wait for a year or two for NYSC. By the time you finish you are close to 24.

Then the main huddle of looking for a job will start.

In all these the parents were the ones supporting you. If you are under their roof why won't you dance to their tune. And no help from Govt what so ever.

You only be out of the your parent house when you can pick up the bills. That is y some are not in a hurry to vacate their parent's home
But that is exactly the point. The parents are to blame since they are aware of how our society functions. Parents should encourage kids to get skills while in secondary school, such as computer training, generator repairs, carpentry, raising livestocks like goats, rabbits, grass cutters etc) so that they can be able to start working or run a small business(online or offline) while they are in secondary school, after waec, during the compulsory wait for admission and while they are in the university.

I strongly believe every parent should also open a savings account for their child and encourage the child to save part of their pocket money, monetary gifts and even menial jobs before they are 18 so as to ensure the child can have access to a little capital when he/she is 18. Parents can also help by saving a little token monthly towards that goal. For instance, if a parents pays N1,000 monthly that's N12,000 yearly and N216,000 after 18years minus interest. This coupled with the skill the child has learnt is enough for a child of 18 be better prepared for the world.

Don't you think?

Not a matter of if I am used to it or not. I talking of what is obtainable in Nigeria. Certain things come with age. Just like teaching a 5 year old about relationships. He would find it hard to grasp. There are some knowledge that comes with age. At 18, yes an adult, but what lesson has the learnt abt how to get a job and keep it, how to manage a budget etc. This things come gradually. By 21, he should be ready to leave home.
There are lots of 25 and above year olds living with their parents sir
Family › Re: Living With Your Parents And You're Above 18: Whose Fault? by hahn(op): 6:46pm On Mar 01, 2015
vfactor:
I don't think its a major point for concern. On average, a nigerian student finishes secondary school at 16. At that age what can of work can you do to pay for an accommodation? He will have to learn a trade or get higher education. Now who will sponsor him or her, while learning a trade or going to university? Then how will that person pay for an accommodation with out a job. So I don't think its a major point for concern. an 18 year old needs to stick with his parents for a time, to learn useful skills like money management before setting out on his own. One shouldn't be in a hurry. It's more shame to hurry off and come back to your parents later, cos you didn't learn a enough to survive on your own.
Seems you are used to it. Aren't our parents supposed to equip us with enough knowledge to enable us live on our own?

Family › Living With Your Parents And You're Above 18: Whose Fault? by hahn(op): 6:23pm On Mar 01, 2015
I was just wondering why its so common to find adults living with their parents and also being controlled by their parents. Worlwide, one is considered mature and responsible as soon as you turn 18 and in many countries around the world you are not allowed to have sex till you're 18. At 18, you should be able to take care of yourself and take responsibility for your actions and indeed your destiny. But the case is not so here in Nigeria and its very common to finds men and women living with their parents while in the university and after graduation.

What could be the cause of this?

Are our parents to blame? Do our parents raise us up believing that we are forever destined to live by their standards, personal choices or beliefs? Or can the youths be blamed for not taking destiny into their own hands or for being caught up in a system that believes that only people who are 50years and above, who have stayed in office looting and looting over and over again without placing the neccessary infrastructure in place that will aid the average youth in achieving their goals and ambitions, are destined to rule till they reside to their graves?

We have lots of bright minds wasting away in this country, shouldn't someone take responsibility to either rectify or change the current situation?

Instead of fighting ourselves over political parties whose chiftains are well known criminals, shouldn't the youth unite and kick these people out of power and steer our country in the right directions ourselves?

Mature opinions please
