LeSudAfricaine: it's considered like that in South Africa. People consider Shoprite's products as low quality, it's staff is even the lowest paid in the South African retail sector. The are other stores which have better repution in SA such as Spar, Pick @ pay, Woolworths etc .Of course people still buy, but it is the unemployed or lower class people in our society but u realise there's a difference between SA and Nigeria? |

Stores that are better than Shoprite & make it look like the village stall we consider it to be are How do u define poor man store and rich man store and why do u consider shoprite poor man store |

iPrevail: I used a Motorola Droid with non-removable battery, so I'll be writing from experience.
PROS
1. It looks sleek. Especially if the device is water resistant. 2. Non-removable battery means battery cannot be stolen or swapped. 3. If properly managed.. what I mean is, (i) You don't form unhealthy charging habits like allowing the battery to drain completely before charging. (ii) You don't try to put ON the phone when battery is already drained. (iii) You don't get overly curious and try to open the battery cover. ...Then you may have no issues for a really long time. 4. Depending on the thickness of the phone, if it accidentally falls to the fall, there is a good chance of picking it up wholly.
CONS
1. I feel sorry for you when the phone hangs. You'll have to wait for the battery to drain out before you can charge and use it again. Frustration from the gods! 2. If they battery eventually gets damaged due to unhealthy charging habits or improper management.. well, sorry to say, that's the end. Just help your life and get a new device. 3. It's sleek, Yes. But how thick is Mr Sleek? If it falls to the ground can you pick it up wholly without a whole number of things going berserk inside and outside? 4. It has this funny habit of heating up so badly. But I think certain apps are suspects for that. 5. Finally, I love them, they are cool, sleek, stylish or whatever classed name you might want to call them. But I won't use, buy or recommend to a friend.
#myOpinionMyBusiness Only the number 2 is a Con for devices with good brands... and u don't neef need to change ur device, just visit the nearest service centre and they will replace ur battery without problems... for me i dont even have that issue at all |

RitzyPrince: Any manufacturer venturing into non-removable battery phones always have provisions on how to hard reset if need be. Defer depending on the model, for we iPhone users you just gotta press your Home and Power button simultaneously for 15s and viola it reboot. You gotta google how to go about it on the model you're on. Exactly. For my galaxy s6, u hard reset by pressing voulme down, home and power key simultaneously. |

Godyke: I only clicked to read how somebody, a Facebook lover for that matter, could defraud another person of his property which we all know as land or a house. Neither phone or a laptop computer is a property, not even cars. they are valuables or belongings. So OP change the title of your post Oversabi will not kill u... Property doesn't have to be land or building except the word is strictly used in Accounting terms. In law also there are still somethings classified as property that are not even tangible at all (eg, Copyright as regards intellectual property) |

Sanchase: The reality of life doesn't revolve around going to school anymore, the Facebook you are using today, did Mark finish Uni? Since they don't find her funny, their problem is bigger than the poor little girl can handle and they shouldn't unleash their anger on the young talent. The girl is passionate about comedy and must be encouraged.
Gone are the days when people think like descendants from the cave, this is the 21st century. Did Mark finish school? That's a dumb comparism, because in America you get educated through almost every means, therefore self education is very much possible. The main reason your comparism is dumb is that Mark went to College and even if he didn't complete it, he has achieved a reasonable level of education already based on the high educational standards in America. Face the fact, she needs to take her studies very seriously, especially in Nigeria where your talent can fade any time. |

Sanchase: All the people saying Emmanuella is not funny, i have a question for you.
When you were same age as her were you funny? I'm sure none of you haters were 1% as funny as her as at when you were at her current age. Lets encourage the young to do what they have natural love for, she must not go to school to write Waec and Jamb, there are institutions where talents are nurtured.
Going to school in order to be successful in life is a long process, if she is passionate about comedy let her educate herself through comedy. So because they don't find her funny, they are haters? Did you go to school bro? |

Shinelle: I like your view point. . . however, your first paragraph reflects a true ican student who probably attends all necessary lectures and covers syllabus, you haven't taken into account those with a 7-7 I don't want to say 9 to 5 with maybe a week leave. For them it would be practically impossible to cover all areas of the syllabus eg the Capital budgeting with Tax and inflation et al while reading I.T, Planning and Control, and Decision Making and Performance Measurement areas and there numerous topics within.....
it's like saying someone should read and prepare for deep questions on each and every standard in FR because they are all equally examinable. It is the right thing to do but then easier said....
I do agree with your conclusion, no matter our study methods, we have 50% allowance, hopefully we cross over. I rest. LOL I actually do hear people talk about work and all as a reason for not covering the syllabus. To be honest , work takes our time. I don't work for long hours but even if I do, I would rather opt for less papers. Some people know they are working for long hours and would still take 3, 4 and even 6 papers. When they fail, they say it's because they are working. I have already decided that if I am working that long, i would not be taking more than 2 papers to increase my chance of passing. What I have noticed is that most people would want to take as much papers as possible knowing fully well that they don't have time. In the end, they fail and get demotivated to even continue the exam. And I ask myself what's the point of taking so many papers when you don't have time? Why waste your resources because you want to complete your exam very quickly and then u end up failing. Besides if we really are writing this exams to build up our career, then we should take it slow and learn from every bit of each syllabus. This will help us a lot in the short or long run. |

Shinelle: exactly. .. and by the way he said he takes financial management and I know Investment Appraisal is a core topic there... in PM , capital budgeting/investment appraisal is a minute area of the syllabus so u won't be surprised some people didn't even know it was there let alone prepare for it to get 30 marks !
P.S: Solving Past Questions at home is nothing compared to being on a hot seat... na by dat one? I totally agree that it's a minute area and I didnt also expect a question on it.. but one thing I have learnt writing exams is that the examiner can shock candidates any time. As long as a topic is in the syllabus, do not assume it will not be tested. You may give it less concentration because of its low frequency of it being examined but at least have a good idea of it before moving on. One thing I do when preparing for an exam is to cover every area of the syllabus basically (so that I can confidently attempt every question), after that I now concentrate on the very examinable areas. As per sitting on the hot seat in the exam, you are totally right, it's nothing to compared to solving question outside the exam hall. But then again if you know the subject area very well, expected errors and mistakes will be very minimal. Good thing we are allowed to have up to 50% mistakes and errors. |

Koolmak: It's much easier to give this kind of view when you didn't participate though. You mean if I participated I would "perform less"? I solved the question on investment appraisal that same day my sister brought the question home and there is no way I wouldn't get the 30 marks complete in that part (maybe because I take financial management and do stuffs harder than that).. the remaining questions would definitely earn me at least another 30 marks (Am being prudent). Which equals at least 60%.. That's for me though, I only said I expect pass rate above par because I think the questions weren't as challenging as some I have seen in the past, I may be wrong though. |
