Good morning great Nairalanders, Please I just got a PlayBook that I want to use with my BlackBerry 9000 so I need to Install BlackBerry Bridge to pair the two. But my challenge is that I get this error message at the point of downloadinng it to my phone from the internet "This application is not available on your device or for your carrier". I later suspected it might be because the version of my OS is lower than 5.0. However, all efforts so far to upgrade the OS from V4.6.0.216 to OS 5.0 has proved abortive as my Destop Manager (600_b047 and 610_b034 multilanguage) displays "There are no Blackberry Device Software updates available". Please assit with any work around this as what I want is to be able to use my playbook with the blackberry 9000. |

Hi Tech Money laundering, Thief! |
Odewengie Nsofor Obasi P. Utaka Martins Yakubu Honestly, if I have my way Yakubu will not make my list to the world (stop calling this lazy man a "bull")cup but he still better than J Utaka, Anichebe and IK Uche. Eneramo would have made my world cup list, the guy is hungrier than Yak. |

Hi, I ve been following the joomla tutorial. Pls mcfranc (joomla) can we continue with the tutorial ? |
Well, giving the talents abound in Nigeria my SA 2010 World cup Squad is as follows: Goalkeepers: Vincent Enyeama Dele Adenugba Austin Ejide Defenders: Dele Adeleye Ederson Echiejile Joseph Yobo Yusuf Muhammed Taiye Taiwo Onyekachi Apam Chibuzor Okonkwo Chidi Odiah Midfielders: Mikel John Obi Yusuf Ayila Kalu Uche Rabiu Ibrahim Dickson Etuhu Attackers: Osaze Odewengie Obafemi Martins Ike Uche Victor Obinna Nsofor Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi Michael Eneramo My first eleven is: (Goalkepper) 1. A Eyeama 2. Yusuf Muhammed 5. Onyekach Apam 6 Dele Adeleye 3. E Echiejile 4. Yusuf Ayila 8.K Uche 10. Mikel Obi 7. C Obasi 9. O Martins 11. O Odewengie Playing pattern is 4-3-3 formation that can easily be switch to our traditional 4-4-2. Note: Joseph Yobo is on the list based on his experince and leadership skill, but definitely not in my first eleven. I see SE defence better without Yobo. Also Shittu is cospicously missing on my list, though I'm a big fan of this EPL heaviest defender but his weight will be disadvntageous at the world cup where we have d likes of Messi that Taiye Taiwo once described to be too smallish for a defender to handle. Kanu is a wonderful player and his contributions to the National team will forever be remebered but unfortunately Africa most decorated player cant make my squad due to his fitness. This man is already tired as it's written all over his body, though he still has passion for the game but the body cant carry on anymore. Yakubu is another great player with plenty experience but I still find it difficult to blend this guy to my team that is formed on the fulcrum of talents, hunger for glory, dedication, hardwork and a teamwork. So this man doesnt have a place in my team not minding his EPL rich record! Seyi Olofinjana is another intelligent player I found very difficult to drop being a very good one-2-one ball winner but he immediately gives up same to opponents, so to me no work done. But if giving opportunity to make the list 23, definitely this Chemical Engr cum footbller will be my 23rd player. Okonkwo, Ayila, Apam, Yobo and Echiejile give me confidence that I can build a solid defence line with these promising and utility players that can even swap positions if need be. Reserves: Ike Uche Eneramo Nsofor Etuhu Ibrahim Odiah Okonkwo Yobo Taiwo Aiyenugba Ejide Coach: Hiddink Asst Coach: Samson Siasia |
Based on Siasia's track record he is a very good coach that can go places not only in Africa but the world at large. This young man has the talent of a good football manager but I must say it here, he is not still ripe enough to coach a national team with complex characters like Super Eagles. Though Siasia was telling us as if he saw the fumbling and wumbling of the Ighalo-led 2009 U-20 squad by submiting that he took the coaching job of the team out of patriotism. But didn't he see it other way round that Nigerians have already set a standard"not below a runner up position" for him in any competition after his exploit at Holland 2005 U-20 and 2008 Olympic Game? Siasia failed 150 millions Nigerians this time around and thank God he accepted that and apologised. I therefore wish him best of luck in his next line of action. As for our senior national team, a coach in the calibre of Fabio Cappello, Aragones, Louis van Gaal,Roberto Mancini and Guus Hiddink is what we need right now. And I see Siasia and Equavoen as Nigeria future coaches that can hold their places among other notable coaches in the world in the nearest future if only they can really sharpen and develop the talents abound in them, and also be humble enoguh to learn the complex tactics of football from any of those world class listed above. This can only work well in a well structure football administration in Nigeria. People like Okocha, Taribo, Mutiu, Amunike, Oliseh, Akpoborie, Ikpeba, Rufai,Okechukwu, Fashanu and host of other well grounded ex-footballers should stop criticising the present football administrators in Nigeria and push harder (or even buy their ways afterall they are also wealthy) to the helm of affairs at NFF, if they truely patriotic and have the interest of 150 million Nigerians at heart so as to safe our football from total collapse. It's already on the verge of been no force to reckon with in African circle not to talk of world. Imagine a country that was rated 5th in the world football in 1994.Fifteen years after we found ourselves in this kind mess. Youth system should be paid much attention to so as to have good graduation system among our national teams from the cadet level(U-17) through U-20, then U-23 and then to the senior national team. Can't we learn from Spain, Holland, Brazil and even Ghana? Must we wait for MRI test ?. May God help us oh! |
Honestly speaking, the nose-diving of football in Nigeria generally can be traced down to our maladministration. I dont think our ex players are doing us any good by folding their arms and watch what they laboured for years to build falling even when some of them are still alive. The Okochas, Olisehs, Odegbamis, Amunikes, Taribos of the world shouls stop blaming the so called self-centred administrators and those highly indisciplined, unpatriotic, half-baked, lazy and arrogant footballers representing(or disgracing) our dear nation at major competitions. Thruth must be told, Siasia has performed wonderfully well within the short period of time he has served this country. Being runner up at two different major competitions (2005 U-20 and 2008 Olympic game) are not fluke at all. But his recent performance at the maiden edition of FIFA -U20 chanpionship on going in Egypt has negated that. I am a die hard fan of the world cup coach, Sia1 but I must say I'm highly dissapointed in the overall performance of his team. Frankly speaking, I judge a good coach by his team performance, of which Siasia performed below average this time around. Please Nigerians don't crucify me, for our football to move forward and belong to the class of Brazil and Spain that I think we rightly belong based on the natural talents abound in our country we need to tell ourselves the home truth. However, The Fashanus, Okochas, Odegbamis, Amunikes, Taribos should come together and find their way (if to buy, they should not esitate) to the cracking Glass House, NFF board as administrators so as to save Nigeria Football. I still say it, only the ex internationals can save Nigeria football from this mess we found ourselves. While the likes of Siasia, Amodu, Iroha, Eguavoen, Mercy Akide, Florence Omagbemi and Amokachi should go back to coaching schools and update their Cvs with modern coaching skills. They are not yet in the calibre of Aragones, Hindik and Jurgen Klinsmann though Siasia and Amodu seem to be at the fore front for now. Nigerian Premier League,YSFON, the football Academies and grasshoot football development in Nigeria are very key to our reckoning back to world football. Please let us do it together! |
Thi is just the end of an era! I shall throw more light on this may be later in the day. I can't still believe a senior national team of Nigeria could play to the gallery in a match of utmost importance like that. 150 million Nigerians were taken for granted. |
