Jege.... This one na just for politics. Which kinda investigation do you use 1 Year and 6 months to carry out? I can bet anything that these cases will be killed after the elections. Still on still sha, Selective fight against corruption is better than no fight at all. I'll always prefer a government that selectively fights corruption to one that takes corruption as a state policy |
Lol. All this people will never cease to amaze me. When she interviewed PMB, ya'll were saying kudos to her cause she did exceedingly well and she pepper baba with questions..... Una Champion don go collect him own for body now una dey find story for where story no dey. No be only El-Rufai inlaw...... Na Buhari concubine. You PDP think you're doing us abi?.... Shior |
Kudos to Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government. Still beats me hollow to imagine how a people can be so blinded by hate to the extent that they would cut their nose to spite their face..... In 16 years and with trillions in oil revenue, the best the south east got with regards to the 2nd Niger bridge is a photograph of a prototype.... In less than 4 years, we are seeing actual work on site but the men from the east will still always pick PDP..... I just don't get it |
Nah. Ain't gon happen. There's no political solution to this case. If the CJN was honorable enough to have done the right thing all this while, he won't be in this mess. He wanted to prove smart and that won't be allowed. He's gon face the full consequences of his actions..... The law has got to run it's full course |
Lol. Money don finish now now? Now we get the main reason for that 72 hours suspension...... At least within that period, running from pillar to post to generate some much needed funds ain't a bad idea. PDP, una for just tell us since say ah, we no get money again o. Ejor comman help us instead of raising dust over a non issue and even suspending ya campaign |
I'm speechless. So, you mean to tell me Oyibos were already using gstring and all this kind sexy bra 500 years ago? 500 years ago that my ancestors didn't even know what they call pant let alone G-string? Well, I don't know what to say. |
Say who you be? My guy MOOVE!!! |
On behalf of President Muhammadu Jubril El-Sudani Buhari (Baba Oni Maalu), I am assuring all Nigerians and the international community that the forthcoming general elections will be free, fair and credible(Only 1993 elections will be comparable in credibility). I also use this opportunity to douse the fear that 'Federal might' will be used to favor the ruling party..... Unlike Olusegun Obasanjo, this election won't be a do or die affair and if there's one thing I'm sure of, it's d fact that PMB wants to leave a good legacy in election matters. Moreover, why does he need to rig an election he's clearly gon win freely and fairly? Buhari planning to rig elections is tantamout to a student who's well prepared for an exam still carrying chukuli to the hall..... That'll only cast aspersions on his success. Who does that? So, my dear brothers and sisters, on the 16th of February, just go and cast your votes for your preferred candidates and know for sure that your votes WILL CERTAINLY count |
All na format. If you believe a father will work against his son's political interest(And his grand son inlaw's) with someone who has been on an unending mission to politically decimate his son, then you can believe anything...... That said, I see Ganduje winning a second term and as for Atiku, max he can get in kano is 30 percent |
While me cannot kill ordinary chicken, many people just don't value human life..... Killed for playing 'boring music'? Wetin these my eyes no go read? |
The landlord no do well jare. All these extreme form of support are the leading cause of Post election violence if their prefered candidate fails to win the elections |
PaChukwudi44:Come on bro, common sense dictates he steps aside |
PaChukwudi44:Okay..... Till they quash it na. And even if they do, Baba will resign ASAP |
Beautiful. Shey he was d one that ran to d appeal court for a stay of proceedings. Well, Onnonghen, your prayers have been answere...... But he remains suspended till further notice. The law is truly an ass |
Atiku's definition of Democracy is a system of government that allows you steal stupendous sums of money and run around seeking injunctions to frustrate justice. Atiku and PDP's passionate defense of Onnoghen shows that PDP haven't changed their ways. Buhari might not have followed due process but he followed d necessary process and I'm ok with that...... |
Ah! Shey they say they are suspending their campaign for 72 hours? Has 72 hours elapsed already? |
Jowonloju:I hope so too brah |
OLisaMacaulay:Just take ur time and read this rubbish u just posted.... U feel bad right? I know you would. No need apologising........ I forgive u |
Lol! This guy is a joker.... PDP is this your candidate? Kikikiki...... For more jokes, biko text Atiku to 419 |
FTC..... I'm super glad as next month will witness the shameful retirement of some of the old cargoes who feel Nigeria is theirs for the taking. After February 16, Obasanjo and Atiku will be permanently retired while Saraki's influence will wane considerably..... That's a start point to retiring these wolves..... Wonder why Obasanjo raised alarm about alleged rigging plans? Baba saw he has burned bridges with Buhari and he has miscalculated as Atiku is unelectable..... So, the next best thing is to cast aspersions on the process..... His thought process is with that rigging plan cry, Nigerians won't accept a Buhari victory which is becoming more of a reality with each passing minute...... BTW, why was Saraki in Kwara campaining yesterday? Shey his party said they are suspending campaigns at all levels for 72hours...... Bunch of jokers |
Abeggi! All this majority talk is unnecesary jare.... Let's stop kidding ourselves. Nigerian democracy is not ripe for such. And moreover, impeach Buhari for what exactly? For obeying a court order? Or for taking the right and neccesary action? Wo, if Buhari hadn't taken that bold step, Onnoghen would still be dancing around obtaining one injunction after d other and like that like that, all would have been forgotten in d next two weeks. If not for Buhari, d media would have been caught up in d elections whirlwind and no one will take Onnoghens matter seriously. At least with Buhari's action, even if he is recalled, na for am to resign las las. I like the Man Buhari but I'm loving the tyrant Buhari(If doing the right thing is tyranny) |
This one nor know where dey pain am. Opposition shouldn't erode common sense na. They are using the narrative of Buhari removing the CJN in order to rig elections..... Why would Buhari rig an election he's sure of winning? It's like all these PDP online popularity is making them have delusional thoughts of actually being able to oust Buhari.... PDP's stringent defence of the forgetful one just shows that they are still an unrepentant gang of looters and never will Nigeria be led by defenders of corruption. NEVER! |
Apt. All this furore would've been unnecessary if the CJN had done the right thing which was to resign but he was rather playing smart, shopping for injunctions and postponing NJC's meeting. Another thing is that right now, we have effevtively ignored the man's guilt and though Buhari's action is not apt, someone had to take d bull by the horn rather than allow an individual play around d law..... Now, to ya'll shouting tyrant and all such, I ask these questions: Did d CJN admit that he 'forgot' to list some of his assets? Should we have allowed him continue seeking for injunctions and postponing NJC's meetings cause he feels they might have asked him to step aside? (Something he should've done without prompting)...... The Muhammadu Buhari I saw in action on Friday is the Buhari i campaigned and voted for in 2015 and I hope he'll continue to do the right thing irrespective of people's opinion |

Tareq1105:Thanks for this |
INEC in a quandary. Which of these judgements do they obey? How come there are even two differing judgements on one issue? Did money exchange hands? It'll be in INEC's best interest to approach an higher court for proper interpretation ASAP. Else, we are sure of hearing of court cases on d legality of d elections whether d APC participates or not |
Really? These politicians always think themselves to be gods and most times, live in grand delusion |
I don't know about the legality of the CJN's sack(I leave that to the lawyers) and tho all evidence point to d man being guilty, I feel the timing is wrong and will unnecessarily overheat the polity this close to an election.... Another thing all the CJN drama highlights is the fact that Buhari can still be that hard nosed tough man we voted for in 2015 who takes decisions without fear of backlash so far he feels such decision is best. Seriously, I ain't in d Buhari is a dictator murdering our democracy bandwagon cause seriously, the CJN ain't denying d charges but is rather fighting the legality of his ouster... And Buhari actually relied on a court order...... But still on still, this ain't needed this close to an election..... He could and should have waited till after February 16th and as for PDP, their wailing over this issue is just pathetic..... Buhari's 2nd term won't be funny |
Ayam not understanding this Umahi guy o. Kudos to him for understanding and playing politics without bitterness..... At least he's a deviation from d norm where politicians always feel politics is war |
hehehe |
The writer of this piece has got a talent in fiction writing. Why he choose to waste his talent in a relatively unknown cross river based newspaper when he can be making millions writing fictional stories beats my imagination..... No be only 2 Billion. D only state Buhari will win in d south-south is Edo and he'll do well in Akwa Ibom |
I like this guy. See the way he shade the APC guber candidate..... Him be like, ur poster no fine and e dey spoil our state. Oya take money go do new poster..... It's like someone you're competing with for a girl telling u to take money to go get new clothes so as to impress d girl. |
