Patriotsleague: Brilliant, nice one. Self preservation is the most important. This will derail the plans of terrorists. Using Dane guns against terrorists with AK 47 makes no sense. Akerolodu stop talking like a woman, a state have the right to issue automatic weapons, for self defense. If federal government do nonsense, take them to court. Southern governors are too weak, follow the constitution not Buhari, our constitution gives state the right to have its own laws, and the governor is the chief security officer and chief executive officer of the state, not the president. Weak southern governors, you people are betraying Southerners with your weakness. By now you people should have stood firm and achieved state police. |

If they can have Sharia law, why can't you have your own damn laws. WTF is wrong with these set of fools we call South politicians. |

10mobile: I hate it when you guys keep talking of Tinubu without also talking about Atiku. In fact, Tinubu is better than Atiku as far as 2023 is concerned. You have a very good point. I have also noted with dismay how the supporters of the two main indigenous southern candidates tear at each other and almost leaving out Atiku as if it is nothing to them that one Fulani man will be taking over from another Fulani if atiku wins. |

Politics › Re: FG Seeks End To Statelessness, Launches National Action Plan by HandsomeBlack: 4:04pm On Sep 03, 2022 |
God bless you. You're intelligent. According to Nigerian constitution, no Nigerian can be stateless. Whatever state your parents came from automatically becomes your state. If your parents were not Nigerians, you too are not Nigerian, full stop! Statelessness shouldn't be an issue. Of course there's ulterior motive. MrMcJay: Does it now mean that a fulani pastoralist who waltzed into Nigeria from Mali, Mauritania or anywhere else without valid travel documents and is grazing his cows in Kogi or Ondo will now be granted citizenship simply because he claims to be stateless?
The ones in the forests will now claim to be indigenes of those states where they are and then they will give them a local government there. From there, they will get State House of Assembly seats and will start dragging land with the landowners.
That is how the crisis in Jos North started. They want to replicate the nonsense on a national scale.
No wonder Buhari said "only God can police the borders" when he was asked about the porous borders of the North. Meanwhile, the Southern borders were fully locked. This was their plan. Flood the country with fulanis and grant them citizenship all across the country. |

jmoore: I watched Newsline on NTA yesterday. This man has four wives and 19 children. The family is poor and the kids beg on the streets.
1. There should be a law banning poor men from marrying more than 1 wife.
2. Another law that makes it a criminal offence for a poor man to have more than 2 kids. Such law is long overdue in Nigeria. Many of the insecurity problems we have today stem from people giving birth to more children than they can adequately cater for. |

mignone: The seasoning cubes/powders we av all over av a deadly ingredient called 'msg'. Pls read up about it. I personally know thru caring for seniors citizens around me dt high blood pressure patients fare better when msg is eliminated from their food. My aunt's bp will obviously rise in d monitor jst few hrs after consuming anything containing msg. I also remember a family friend who used to sweat on his palms only when he consumed meals containing bouillon cubes. Remember d times of vedan, ajinomoto,A1,etc., d media&everyone made us all flee cos of this same ingredient. Now msg is back in attractive packaging. Y I always pity ppl who are fond of eating out or indulging in instant noodles. Hence, d reason for encouraging ppl to use local/natural condiments, of which iru is one. Wow! Very enlightening. Thanks a lot. And I'll surely read more about msg. |

descarado: You are very ignorant. Very very ignorant. Aside from the West, all countries, I mean all countries of the world use different forms of that stinking food to make international cuisines.
Countries with highest iq like Japan, South korea eg has their own very stinking food which they use to cook with delish.
You probably don't know what probiotics are cos if you know, you will also know that you need probiotic more than you need any other thing.
You can only get probiotics through fermented foods like iru, ogiri. The way an average Nigerian take vitamin c is how an average south east Asian buy probiotic and drink in form of tablets. They live very long while you with your knorr cube filled with msg and fried chicken and chips or macdonald has average lifespan of 54yrs.
Typical comment of a very low iq human. See how he and his likes rushed to comment on something they know nothing of. Thanks sir for this enlightening post. Can you please elucidate more on this common claim that iru helps in ones eyesight. And any other health benefits of iru? Thanks in advance. |

Politics › Re: APC Primaries: Tinubu In Early Lead As Sorting Of Votes Begins by HandsomeBlack: 2:08pm On Jun 08, 2022 |
Beverlyjean: Igbo people will remain the only truthful and straightforward people in Nigeria.... the only tribe that stand by the truly best available.... if Tinubu were igbo , igbo people will 100% reject him cos they will never accept mediocrity or sentimental votes... Igbo people are standing behind Obi , even if people like corrupt okorocha and his likes come thru , we will stand by the best... how can u take a Tinubu over Osibanjo and u say u are sophisticated....this will never happen in Igbo land , even if u offer them all the billions... look at what they did to Andy Uba , that tried all he could against soludo... but I bet if it were yoruba , they will take Uba over soludo ... Igbos are supporting osibanjo , but these south westerners that contributed to the disaster of a person like Buhari are at it again... only Tinubu and Buhari read a prepared speech last night.... he has not entered but health signs and dementia is already showing.... well, thank goodness there is still PDP and labour party... I share this your view as well. Honestly, history will be kind to the South Easterners for twice vehemently rejecting a man who's regime brought untold hardship on Nigerians. Instead of saying they don't know how to play national dirty politics, we should be apologizing to them for not seeing what they saw. How some people come up with Igbo hates Yoruba baffles me. I think it's clear now that what Igbos hate is incompetence and injustice. In 2014 SE supported GEJ/Sambo, both none Igbos. 2019 SE supported Atiku (A Fulani) against another Fulani (Buhari) who has proven to be more tribalistic and less competent than the former. Yes, Atiku had an Igbo vice presidential candidate and Buhari had a Yoruba vice in the person of Osinbajo. But the rejection was not for Osinbajo but for Buhari because SE are now routing for PYO to clinch the APC ticket against another Yoruba (Tinubu), who like Buhari is considered too old and physically unfit for a highly demanding office as the Nigerian president. SE may even vote a PYO over a SE candidate like Okorocha because they believe in the ability of PYO to manage the country better in the interest of all. Honestly, after 7 years plus of the Buhari administration, the SE has the bragging right to say to other parts of the country "We told you so." But like they say, a people deserve the kind of leadership they get. Unfortunately, every part of the country will feel the consequence of good/bad leadership, ask the people of Kastina. |

cutecommend: What is the cure for the EAST?
Let all agitators gather and angrily build the EAST like Johannesburg or Dubai... Many Igbo people have money.
Imagine if Nnamdi Kanu and all IPOB members get angry and begin to build the East by force... Imagine if they make the East look like Johannesburg or Dubai.. Imagine if they protect the East and start running a very "dangerous" development programme. I tell you, even those in Europe may return back to the East to live. Just begin massive estate development all around, massive road construction, massive arrangement of the East.. Do it even without the government, and you will be the most valued people in Igbo land, and history will never forget you.
One of the things that made God concerned on Earth was when man was building the tower of Babel......If the East is like Johannesburg or Dubai, the "intimidation" will be more than GUNS.
Let there be peace agreement, let reconciliation be done, and let Nnamdi Kanu be released. |
