How can anyone support this dastardly act? Burning down a whole community and killing civilians because a soldier was killed. What happened to military investigation? Even in war, it is against the rules of engagement to kill unarmed civilians indiscriminately. There are many people in that community that would be against whoever killed the soldier. Now, they too may be killed by the "retaliating" soldiers. You wonder why this same community/people will kowtow anyone that comes tomorrow claiming that he can lead them out of their misery? Failure of governments at different levels. |

It is becoming increasingly obvious that these forced vaccination policies have another motivation to it than caring about the health of the people. If vaccination truly is effective, those that choose not to be vaccinated pose no danger to those that are vaccinated. If vaccination I not effective in preventing one catching or dying of the covid virus, then the unvaccinated are right to choose not to be vaccinated since it doesn't work. So what is the motivation for forcing people to get the vaccine? 1 Like 1 Share |

Just imagine! If only there are genuine senators, federal and state reps truly representing these people. This should have been probed by the legislature by virtue of their oversight functions and the guilty commander revealed and punished. Who refused to give the order? What is the essence of wasting national resources and deploying soldiers and then refuse to give them order to do their jobs? 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Why Did The Southern Senators In The House Allow Them Pass The PIB? by HandsomeBlack: 8:50am On Jul 06, 2021 |
It is indeed baffling how some things happen in this nation when we have people that are supposed to represent our interests. All politicians are selfish and self-centered but southern politicians are the most selfish, wicked and alienated from the people they claim to govern. Most especially the south east political class. A lot of their words and actions are at variance with the wishes and interests of their people. No wonder the people would zealously follow any Igboho or MNK because their "elected" representatives have failed them. 3 Likes |

IGBERE TV recalls that South East Governors had established the security outfit to tackle insecurity in the region following the killing of security operatives. Paramilitary set up to address the killing of armed military men. The SE governers once said the zone doesn't need its own security outfit when the people were being killed, raped and driven out of their farms by herdsmen. Nigerian politicians are too self-centered and unpatriotic but SE politicians are the most cruel to their people. |
Politics / Re: Osinbajo: Another Civil War Cannot Be Afforded In Nigeria by HandsomeBlack: 2:44pm On Apr 28, 2021 |
The political elites, including the vice president himself should proffer lasting solutions. The political elites in Nigeria have all failed woefully. They are not ready to address the genuine concerns of Nigerians. To politicians, it's all about self-interest with zero patriotism. Billions were spent on a national conference to proffer solutions to problems in Nigeria but no implementation till date because it's not in their personal interest or because it does not favour a section of the country above the others. You cannot subjugate the people for too long. Neither can you subjugate a section of the country for too long. You're called in to settle quarrel in a loveless and violence prone marriage. The couple are not ready/capable of loving themselves or cohabiting and yet you say divorce or separation is not an option. You are waiting until one of them stabs the other to death or what? |

Very unfortunate. Raise funds to pay ransom to kidnappers/terrorists who will use it to buy more weapons that they'll use to continue and expand their evil ways. Unfortunately, whoever contributes to this cause today out of emotions may be a victim of the terrorists tomorrow after they've been empowered more with the ransom money. |
Politics / Re: Femi Adesina: Buhari Doesn’t Care About Your Noise, Murmurings And Curses by HandsomeBlack: 9:00pm On Apr 23, 2021 |
Why speak to Nigerians with such disdain? Nigerians are the employers of both President Buhari and Mr Adeshina. Buhari went to every state of the country canvassing for people's votes, promising them a better life and when they complain about certain things in your government you talk to them like they and their concerns are inconsequential? Really? |
Politics / Re: States’ Cash Cruch: Governors Beg FG To Postpone $2.1bn Support Repayment by HandsomeBlack: 7:01am On Apr 23, 2021 |
Nigeria is like a 37 member family where only one family member earns money through majorly one source of income. Others come to collect monthly allocation. Every state in Nigeria has the potential to generate income through resources in their domain but no, they must depend on Niger Delta oil only. Let every state manage resources in their domain and pay tax to the federal government and let states challenge themselves competitively. |
Romance / Re: How Do You Express Your Feelings To A Guy You Are Crushing On? by HandsomeBlack: 9:43pm On Apr 22, 2021 |
There's a Yoruba adage that says 'not speaking out is the beginning of a person's misfortune'. I'm of the opinion that what a man can do, a woman can do But unfortunately, most males are NOT matured nor culturally/religiously prepared to appreciate a lady opening up about her feelings for them. Most will think her to be desperate, cheap, loose. Also, most women are not emotionally nor psychologically equipped to handle rejection that may result from such encounter. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Unemployment: What Tinubu’s Recommendation Tells Us About Him - Oke Umurhohwo by HandsomeBlack: 6:19am On Mar 31, 2021 |
As a person, I respect the man Tinubu but it would be unwise to think that he becoming president will solve Nigeria's current problems. First, Tinubu has remained the national leader of the ruling APC. He has access to the president and top decision makers in the current government. If he can't advise or influence the president/vice president for positive change using his office, I doubt whether he can do better as president himself. This is the man that championed the repackaging of Buhari to Nigerians as a reformed democrat, incorruptible and the Messiah to "change" Nigeria for good during the 2015 elections. We know differently today as Nigerians. Top founding members of APC have come out to say that they imported Fulanis from neighbouring countries to cause trouble if Buhari did not win. What does Tinubu know about this unpatriotic and highly damning allegation and what is the extent of his involvement considering he is also a top founding member? If such happened without his knowledge, he may still be president and will be "shocked" when things happen. We should not mistake desperation for power to mean that the power seeker has something good to offer. If nothing else, we should have learned our lesson with Buhari. I believe we need capable younger person as president. Jagaban seems too old for the job. Anyone that wants to be president should be able to present and defend his manifesto to all Nigerians. Not with empty and unrealistic promises like turning one naira to one dollar or eliminating Boko Haram in 3weeks. This is how they packaged Buhari to Nigerians in 2015. Let's not support blindly because of religious/tribal sentiments. It would do none of us any good. Ask the people of Katsina. 44 Likes 5 Shares |

Wonders shall never end. Miyetti Cattle Breeders says it is trying to promote peace while almost all the major threats to peace in Nigeria today can be traced to them and their Fulani foot soldiers. The same Miyetti that claims all land in Nigeria belongs to Fulani. The same Miyetti that says it is raising a vigilante all over the country is now against militia? Tagiya! No sensible Nigerian will ever loose guard for Fulani. 8 Likes |
