Kobojunkie: You would be correct since the constitution, much like the Gospel— which itself is the Constitutional Law in the Kingdom of God— is a Law. Your Bible is not a Law but instead a compendium or library of various books. So, it does not speak or have a voice. 2. OK, so where in that do you get the idea that this power passed on to them by way of the Holy Spirit is what you refer to as power of Salvation rather than power as described in, say Mark 16 vs 15 - 18? It's the the tradition in the Bible that when there is transition of power the one receiving the power receives the Holy Spirit. You should try and find out. |

Kobojunkie: The Bible does not speak--- it has no voice of its own--- so you need to be more specific about what you mean. Mark 16 vs 15 - 18, for instance, reveals the signs that follow all those who believe --- live their life in continuous submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ. Okay, so if I say 'the Constitution says...... ' I would be wrong. Back to the discussion, please consider this verse: 'But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8. |

aioluwa: Baptism doesn't save you—salvation comes by faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Your guilt before God is removed the moment you trust in Christ. But baptism is your personal testimony to, and the inward assurance of, your passage from the old life to the new life... You can't trust in God without obeying Him. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Baptism Necessary For Salvation? by Hanndye(op): 2:41pm On Jul 30, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: 1. Jesus Christ never gave power of salvation to any man. That lie that He did is of religion and not of God. Rather, Jesus Christ sent His disciples into the world, as He had done at least once before --- Matthew 10 --- urging them to teach the rest of the Lost sheep in the world the same teachings and commandments He had taught to them during the over 3 years He walked with them. Jesus Christ also commanded His followers to baptize those sinners who believe.
2. That Law does not change or render void any of that which is God's Law so I am not certain why you would assume it has that power to cancel God's own decree. The Bible talks about the disciples receiving power, so what power is It talking about? |

Kobojunkie: The same Jesus Christ also said, "Everyone must be born-again." He also said,"Except a man be born-again, He cannot enter into the Kingdom of God." When you consider all that Jesus Christ said, "You will find that forgiveness isn't what grants you entry into the Kingdom of God. Rather, it is as Jesus Christ said, which is that you must be born-again in order to enter into the Kingdom of God. You are speaking with both sides of your mouth. You cannot be saved with you sins intact. God abhor sins. You have to have your sins washed away first by way of forgiveness through obedience to be babtized. |

When you tell someone a scary story about a certain place, it is natural that they'll be ready to do anything possible not to go there. It's human nature. YungTemy: So Muslims or followers of other religions worshiping the Almighty God, who haven't been baptized, aren't eligible for Salvation? No way, but they shall be judged according to their deeds. 'And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” 1 Peter 4:18. ' Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life." John 5:25. |

After the Outer-call or on the radio, after preaching, the preacher would ask those who wish to give their lives to Jesus to repeat certain words after him calling Jesus into their lives. Is this right and Baptism not neccesary?

Benard5050: I worked in a school for four years and I decided to resign to establish my own business, a laundry business to be precise.
Immediately I gave my boss a month's notice, she turned me into her enemy immediately, and she became so bitter towards me.
The school is run by husband and wife and I discussed with d husband who is the director that I still wish to maintain the room in the staff quarter till December that the house rent should be deducted from my last salary because our rent is being deducted every month from our salary.
The director agreed, wished me well and even advised me further on other things.
My last day at work was Wednesday and happened to be my birthday, this woman never wished me a happy birthday but instead a full manifestation of bitterness that was open to all to see. I made sure I fulfilled her requests but I cried cos I felt let down and betrayed... I joined the school when the college was only jss1 and 2 and now with d help of God and my hard work and those of others, the school has developed and grown to ss3
I'm into teaching aspect and also extracurricular activities that I do teach the students and won many things for the school regarding that.
I left unceremoniously and I felt so sad and betrayed...
Yesterday the director messaged me I'll have to vacate the room I'm occupying and this house is where I'm doing laundry, I planned to be there till Dec and then move away when I start making some money from my laundry.
How can humans be so inhuman and ungrateful?
I have nothing to say to them, I put everything in God's hand. Where do you wear your brain? You ddn't plan well naa. You should have moved out even before resigning. Now you have put yourself in their mercy. You need some sort of diplomacy and begging to do. You may start with the husband. Employer's property is employer's property. |
