Today Buhari who approved that crime is the darling of majority of Nigerians; because a group of people and Jonathan who some tribalists deemed "unqualified" to lead Nigeria must be forced to leave Aso Rock. Answer to your questions: BH is a religious force whose motivation is also the aspiration of millions of Muslims in northern Nigeria. Unhindered use of sharia criminal justice system, as well as enforcement of the sharia criminal justice system to all of Nigeria is the ultimate goal. Sabotage of military forces arrayed against BH fighters has been the thing. Americans and other Western forces came, observed the sabotage and fled. BH has consistently maintained that it is fighting for a country friendly with sharia criminal laws. And 12 northern Nigeria states beginning 2000 adopted sharia criminal laws to the existing common laws in their states. After the adoption, a committee was set up to ensure that use of Sharia criminal laws are exported to other Nigerian states yet to adopt sharia. Till today, the 12 sharia states in northern Nigeria have not quashed their adoption of sharia criminal laws. Granting the 12 sharia states in northern Nigeria a country of their own MUST END the BH fracas. |

I don't still see how this makes any sense. Because you are involved, you may not see the sense that since 12 northern Nigeria states adopted sharia criminal laws into their common laws, and BH emerged and consistently maintains that is fighting for a country friendly with sharia criminal laws, therefore, to end the violence, the ideal solution is granting the 12 northern states a new country friendly with sharia criminal laws which the 12 northern states indirectly requested when they unconstitutionally adopted sharia criminal laws beginning year 2000. Sharia criminal laws include stoning women to death for adultery, cutting off hands of petty thieves, and other punitive measures that are alien to Nigeria's constitution. It is not worth it wasting money and lives continuing to fight off a religious cause - a religious cause which was fully accepted by most of the people in the 12 northern Nigeria states. Continuing to waste scare resources to fight off that kind of sharia religious cause that was welcomed by the 12 states in order to preserve One Nigeria doesn't make sense. After all, One Nigeria was not made in heaven. |

Few more years from now, if BH continues, Christianity shall be nearly extinct in the entire north. The fear of being killed in the church is fast making Christians retreat from the churches, more in the north but even in the south of Nigeria.
