Someone just told me Niger was previously a part of Nigeria. Another educated Aboooki just said from Kaduna upwards that they're Nigeriens not Nigerians.

River Niger & Benue is d God-given dermacation for Nigeria to split.

Northerners are holding Southerners to ransome....England pls come and split the concoction(Nigeria) you cooked cos its a very foul dish.
North holds rest of Nigeria to ransom because the SW keeps lying to itself that its people are 'shophisciticated' - sophisticated my foot.

BH says it wants a country friendly with sharia criminal laws. Twelve northern states since adopted sharia criminal laws;

but the people of SW are yet to see the handwriting of a divided Nigeria on the wall.

Imagine the calamity if talk comes up of sharia in the SW which is divided between Islam and Christianity. It shall be harrowing. SW Sophisticated.. huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh

About 12 northern states had since adopted use of sharia criminal laws.

Buhari will be the Petroleum Minister. We knew that already. And we approve of it.

Let him be responsible for it.

Lets see how easily the Kola Alukos, Wale Tinubus, Danjumas, Otedolas, Ubahs, Shell, Chevron, NNPC, NPDC, and co. can influence/disobey/outsmart/threaten him.
Aged Buhari shall be asleep on bed as these business moguls and businesses you mentioned above eat Nigeria like pepper soup of isi ewu and nkwobi. Age is no respecter of anybody.

Buhari dares not double as president and oil minister. Nigeria must be the loser if he does.

You are very ignorant and shallow minded. Buhari was the petroleum minister some 30 something years ago, and he built most of the refin

eries we currently have in the country.
Liar, Buhari never built any Refinery. Refineries were completely built before Buhari became Petroleum minister. That was the time Westerners were ever willing to work in Nigeria, not like these days when terrorists have made Nigeria a no go area.

Buhari merely wants to colonize oil proceeds for his north.

Any Nigerian supporting a septuaganerian Buhari to double as president of Nigeria and oil minister must be out of his/her senses.

Worse, Buhari is believed to have not passed through secondary school.

North or south, in present day Nigeria there is not one person that can be pointed at to be "clean" enough to do it. NOT ONE

We'll see the Cabals that will tie Baba's hands like they did madam ojuyobo & Jona!!

OBJ (hate or love him) did it and kept subsidy claims down to 300bn,Per annum while it quadrupled to over a trillion under Jona and his "MINISTER"..

Fix that sector and all will be well with the country..
Bribe Ledum Mitie from restive Ogoni to talk rot, in order for Buhari to take control of Oil proceeds from the Niger delta. That's a child's play

Buhari and his north had waged war to take over proceeds from crude oil.

Boko Haram says it's fighting for a country governed by sharia criminal laws.
12,northern states adopted sharia criminal laws from 2000.

In the fight for such a country governed by sharia criminal laws, BH destroyed much of north, sacked President Jonathan for Buhari to become president.

Shortly after, northern leaders started asking Buhari to fund the reconstruction of damages done in north.

What Buhari is now angling to double as president and Petroleum minister for is to corner crude oil proceeds from Niger delta for Northern Nigeria. Never gonna happen.

Chasing shadows instead of the substance.

After six years in office, President Jonathan is leaving behind the lopsided political structure and unitary government system created by military fiat - a political structure and governing system wrecking Nigeria.

Now Buhari must bring unitary government system to higher levels, because Buhari's northern politicians smile to the banks every revenue allocation day owing to the undue large number of states and Lgas the Buhari clan created in the north of Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Foreigners Mock Nigerians Over Fuel Crisis...see Their Comments! by hansad: 5:06pm On May 25, 2015
But these foreigners know that what is happening to Nigeria is what can happen to a country made up by pooling say, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Germany together in one country.

In Nigeria, north of the country which benefits from one Nigeria works without stop to maintain a dysfunctional Nigeria as one country.

The SW with some of its people who erroneously believe the SW region can't survive without one Nigeria with crude oil in the southsouth also drags for one Nigeria.

Peoples in the rest of south of Nigeria are left with no choice but watch.

But truth is that the lands and people in today's Nigeria must develop more in new countries of Northern Nigeria, SW Nigeria and former SE Nigeria including present Anioma, or possibly other new countries from present Southsouth region.

But instead of doing the inevitabile quick, Nigerians waste time expecting miracles to come with a miraculous leader.

Buhari on Private visit to UK? Lie. Did you read UK government press release about what Buhari and Cameron discussed?

The discussion was on Buhari's request for UK military ties with Nigeria. Why must request for military ties with our former colonial masters be the first request of a Nigerian president-elect?

Is Buhari coming to lead Nigeria by war or peaceful means?

No doubt about that. After shaking Buhari, Dave must have gone straight to the toilet for cleansing.

But Dave wouldn't mind providing Buhari with arms and ammmunition and UK/Nigeria military ties which Buhari came for.

Rest in peace.
But decades after you roared about corruption, corruption still eats up Nigeria. And you roared about corruption many decades after your seniors in the army roared about corruption as their excuse to strike against a democratic government.

Unfortunately, Nigerians stick to unitary government system which breeds and feeds corruption in Nigeria.

Today, many foolish Nigerians believe that Buhari your ex-colleague shall stop corruption in Nigeria governed under the present lopsided political structure and unitary government system. Sorry for them.

Truth is that until Nigeria embraces fiscal federalism, corruption must continue to eat deeper into the country.

You can magine that these white people don't know us as Yoruba, Igbos or Hausa just corrupt nigerians who don't know how to manage their God given resources.
This should be a new beginning for all Nigerians lets leave all this religious and tribalistic tendencies behind and build a new Nigeria. We can prove them wrong!
You lie. Truth is: informed white people know us as Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, etc., as people with diverse value systems owing to the diversity of their cultures and religions.

Our diversity cannot allow for nationhood ever emerging from Nigeria.
Imagine you expecting nationhood to emerge from a country formed from Greece and Turkey. Never gonna be.

When you form ethno/religious based political alliance to allienate others from goings on in the country, how else do you define tribalism and religious bigotry in a multiethnic country? Your lot started it.

That you believe you profit from others in Nigeria must not make you spin yarn trying to confuse others to stick to ever dysfunctional One Nigeria.

In the USA with people of diverse cultures and religions, English value systems rule. In every other country of diverse cultures and religions, the value systems of the most predominant group rule.
But in Nigeria, the value systems of the three most dominat groups - Hausa/Fulani, Igbo and Yoruba are at cross with one another.

Splitting Nigeria to get Arewa, Oduduwa and Biafra, and possibly smaller Niger delta Republics, must help humans in present Nigeria to develop more than they can under one Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: What Foreigners Think About Nigeria's Fuel Crisis by hansad: 10:45am On May 25, 2015
Every informed and well-meaning Oyibo knows that Nigeria is too complex with tribes and diverse cultures to succeed as one country.

The north of Nigeria which benefits most from Nigeria works tirelessly for one Nigeria against the development interests of peoples in the southwest and old southeast regions.

Result is that tribes in the southwest and old southeast regions remain at one another's throats owing to the conditions and competetetive trends in one Nigeria.

Present Nigeria would not have been this underdeveloped if Nigeria actually became split the way of 1966.
PoliticsRe: What Foreigners Think About Nigeria's Fuel Crisis by hansad: 10:31am On May 25, 2015
But truth be told, Yoruba is getting frenzy, freezing and melting with the level the Yoruba has taken anti-Igbo campaigns.

Yoruba does not hate Igbo, in fact the two groups intermarry and breed like dogs; but Yoruba is mortality afraid of the possibility of Igbo taking over entire Lagos.

But Igbos have invested in Lagos such that many of the investors would not like to leave Lagos unless Nigeria splits.

But Yoruba gets chilled in the blood to hear talk of splitting Nigeria, because Yoruba would not like to miss oil revenues from the Niger delta region if Nigeria splits.

President GEJ could not have gotten Resource Control for oil bearing areas.

Nigeria's so fraudulently structured with subsequent lopsided political representation, such that any bill for Resource Control or Fiscal Federalism cannot pass through reading stage in the National Assembly, and may be thrown out of the Asembly windows.

Only solution for oil bearing areas to get what they want from Nigeria is by forming a large political block for negotiations.

Negotiation for either political concessions to mineral- producing areas, or referendum for peoples in SS and SE for secession from Nigeria.

That's where one buys the Lower Niger Congress initiative to group the SS and SE to pursue common goals.

But if people steering the Lower Niger Congress initiative eventually get bribed or blackmailed to give up, the SS and SE remains divided and continue to be screwed up by rest of Nigeria.

MayorofLagos:
We are glad Yale took the position because it is now registered to the world and the awareness that Okonjo-Iweala is an incompetent and over rated technocrat is spread globally.

She has been projected, successfully and rightly so, as a liability...and not an asset to the national and regional economy.

This raises the risk and makes her unappealing for hire by any international body working for the upliftment of human society on a global scale.
The stakes are now higher than you thought.
You have further let the International community understand that Nigeria is not one United country. Or is there any other united country where citizens could be so bitter against their fellow citizen the way Yoruba displayed wickedness and tribalism against Okonjo Iwealla and Yale award?

Yoruba refuses Igbo leaving Nigeria because of crude oil in the Niger delta.
But more and more People of old southeast region of Nigeria now surge to free the region from Nigeria, while Yoruba hate messages spread it round the world that Nigeria is a least United country.

So Yoruba shall wake one day and see that it's hate messages against Igbo had paid off in splitting Nigeria.
