Jacob Zuma must resign - and immediately. Black on black violence is a shame. |
Oduduwaboy:Other countries do democracy to increase their productivity, while your own democracy is negotiating and making alliances to impound and control existing resources to yourselves. Una no de shame. |
Fourwinds:Wait for things to unfold. You shall realize that you know nothing about Nigerian politics. In the last election, you voted to shoot yourselves on the feet. When is the next NADECO coming? Or you think such thing as releasing OBJ from Gashua prison to compensate Southwest can happen again? Nada!! People have learnt lessons. If you believe Osinbajo shall ever succeed Buhari, you are kidding. |
Sharia criminal codes to be adopted in all of Nigeria very soon. Nigerians get set for that, Nigerians asked for that. It does not even need a legislation of parliament to do that, but when a parliament keeps quiet and does eyes right, the executive can implement anything. 2001, Buhari insisted that sharia criminal laws like stoning women to death for adultery and cutting hands of petty thieves be practiced all over Nigeria. Buhari never renounced that all his campaign to become president, but he was cleaned up by some people to win the presidential election of Nigeria. |
Akorede1114:Buhari had to win easily this time after 6 years BH coerced Nigerians to believe that Goodluck Jonathan cannot provide security of lives and property in Nigeria. Buhari voters are mostly the ill-educated and those cowed by violence of BH, take the count, You do not see Buhari's victory as mostly derived through BH violence? Buhari tried 3 times before but was rejected by Nigerians. Even Buhari himself is becoming more and more jittery after his victory because he knows he does not merit the victory. Buhari knows that there are also too many Nigerians who are not fools. |
In less than two years from now, Nigerians shall be groaning and gnashing their teeth under a possible Buhari govt. If OBJ, Yar'Adua, Goodluck Jonathan could not fix Nigeria, foolish, anybody that believes a 73 years old and barely educated Buhari can fix Nigeria. APC people lied to some ill-educated Nigerians that corruption was the stock-in-trade in Jonathan govt, Buhari told them to vote him to kill corruption before corruption kills Nigeria, the most ill-educated, gullible and vulnerable group of Nigerians believed and voted Buhari. |
cbrass:Jonah has long been itching to leave office to go and enjoy life while he is young. He said shortly after the election that he had been in a cage in government for 16 years, let him go - even today. But one thing: Jonah is leaving Nigeria in a very precarious situation, with little hope for the future - no opposition party, as he has finished his PDP. |
bushdoc9919:Oil is no curse; don't tell me that deceptive bullshit. Pretenders cannot deceive people anybody anymore. Oil is why Nigeria is far ahead of other W. African countries in infrastructural development. Oil is why Lagos is a mega city in Africa. As for manufacturing, so long as there is crude oil in the N/Delta, most sections of Nigeria can't think of manufacturing anything, some can't even work. Have you attended political rallies in the north? It is as if everybody out there depends on politics for a living. Guess why all the politics of alliance upon alliance these days. It is for taking control of management of crude oil receipts. |
With oil in the SW, soon we shall have Oduduwa Republic. Once Oduduwa is declared, Biafra Republic of fiscal federalism shall follow, and possibly Nigerdelta Republic of Fiscal federalism. Then emerges Arewa sharia Republic whose 12 sharia states covertly drew up the borders when the states embraced sharia criminal laws in 2001; then and possibly other Republics. This is the most peaceful way to get out of this Nigeria marriage which every group hates but does not know how to get out from. |
Oh Lawd, please make this Lagos oil be a reality, in short, make all Yorubaland become oil producing area - so that this fraud called One Nigeria go quickly split. |
Laid2001:And did you hear the thunderous condemnations then that followed what Obama did before the Saudi man? Many Americans even called him a hard core Muslim for what he did. |
Acekidc4:Amaechi and slave mentality - nothing more. And he wanted most of his Rivers state people to be like him, that's the most annoying aspect of him. |
adino:ROFLOL CLUEFOOL after Clueless. ![]() Another jargon don enter Naija political vocabulary |
EdCure:Problem is that as the years go by, surviving Nigerians, including your type, tend to forget that the said constitution remains the near illegal document supervised by a few northern soldiers and imposed upon Nigeria by military fiat in 1999. The main objective of the 1999 constitution was to legalize the roguish 36 states political structure which proliferated too many states in the north to enable a northern cabal dictate what happens in Nigeria - determine who becomes the country's president, rake home a fatter portion of national revenues in a unitary government system, unitary govt system which the north has refused to change to old regional government system. Unless Nigeria gets a constitution made in a democratic environment, such as in a national conference, any amendment in the 1999 constitution is still unduly influenced by a northern cabal whose representatives unduly over populate the National Assembly |
DickDastardly:Apt. You got it. Buhari rode to power not only through false propaganda, but through BH violence also. Nature has a way of settling its things. Watching on HD. |
dhaewood:Lol, This is just early mo mo - morning - for people of Sai APC, Sai Buhari. Una never see something yet. Na 73 year old man go rescue Naija from all the accumulated decades of problems, and rescue the Chibok girls. You ignored the Fasholas, Oshiomwholes, Okorochas, kwankwasos The next excuse shall be Jonathan and his group robbed the treasury dry, stole about 500 trillion Naira, kept Nigeria in debt of about 500 trillion Naira - before they left |
Which one be Taraba state na? What side of north that one day? You know, all these mushroom states created in the north to collect oil revenues and make the National Assembly be overpopulated by north, they are difficult to differentiate from one another. |
Bevista:Yes, because the deal has been done: power has returned to the far north. Before the election, PDP was having nearly nobody campaigning or talking in favour of Jonathan. |
Demdem:Mostly because of this Chibok kidnap, Jonathan literally ran away from office. Jonathan seems to have decided not to continue as president, even long before the elections started; problem is that he refused to disclose that to people campaigning for him. No way, Buhari's first task must be to find the Chibok girls. Many people know all along that Buhari's talk of stopping corruption was a child's play. Corruption may even double during Buhari's administration. |
What? No promise to find Chibok girls? Chibok girls were kidnapped to sack Jonathan. Jonathan was blackmailed out of power partly by Chibok kidnap. Buhari was voted in to bring the girls back. We all expected Buhari to bring the girls back in his first week as president. No compromise here o!! Nigerians must have Chibok girls back first thing, or Nigerians shall pressure and blackmail Buhari govt till it steps down - No compromise O |
Hitunnu:PDP rose from G34 spearheaded by Alex Ekwueme from Igbo. PDP was not formed by northerners. In fact, APC is now mainly a party for the northerners with fewer Yorubas in it. Amaechi and Okorocha are complete strangers being used in APC to achieve an aim.. |
lastpage:See small-minded Yorober WITH the small-minded LASTPAGE blackmail. You people always crawl in on threads of old southeast region to do divide-and-rule jobs. You no fit survive in your separate country without the old southeast region? BIAFRA SHALL BE THE MOST PEACEFUL COUNTRY IN AFRICA, MORE SO, WITH REGIONAL GOVT SYSTEM/FISCAL FEDERALISM. Today, Nigeria badly affects Biafrans, hugely so, that you observe a few infractions here and there. Note: Igbos have been out of apex political power since the last 45 years, yet Igbos are together. Your masters lost power for a few years, see the damage they did to themselves until you cowardly conceded power to them last election. |
dahunsy:COLLECT AND EAT TINUBU'S MONEY, VOTE FOR WHOEVER YOU WANT. |
dipopooo:Even if GMB is a saint, what can a 73 year old GMB do in the midst of all those PDP-turned APC? |
sosanova:Lol!! Yesterday, as Gov. Fashola campaigned for Ambode on TV, Fashola was blaming the PDP for under-provision of development infrastructure in Lagos. He was blaming IBB for quickly removing the capital of Nigeria from Lagos to Abuja. But from Tinubu's alliance in APC, we may soon have the nation's first seaport in the far north - no more in Lagos. Until OBJ came, Nigerian Navy was headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria Ports Authority was headquartered in Abuja. Just to establish only a refinery in Kaduna, northern leaders dug a near 1000km oil pipeline from the southsouth to Kaduna. Money used for digging the pipeline could have built a rail line as long. |
Igbos and Yorubas appear to be the most foooolish people on the earth. Fulani is about to eventually dip his quaran into the Atlantic ocean because of Yoruba-Igbo rivalry. Well done Akpabio. Good luck Jonathan must not be allowed to completely wreck the PDP. |
Collynzo9:That means you shall remain out of power so tay..... |
Since Boko Haram was used to bomb its sympathizer and itself to Aso Rock, this one fit be early momo momo na. |
But in a country, how can some Yoruba be talking that Lagos is purely Yorubaland? Can they say exactly who lived in Lagos and other parts of the SW about 2000 years ago? Can they say for sure that 2000 years from now, today's SW shall be inhabited by Yoruba people? Today's problem is that too many Yoruba are no more going to school. Yoruba still live in the past of Obafemi Awo's free education when too many Yoruba's went to school more than the rest of Nigeria. If Yoruba want Lagos as purely for Yoruba for now, it is easy. Declare Oduduwa Republic. Arewa can't fight against that. Neither can Igbo or Ijaw or Bini or Tiv fight against that. In fact, if Yoruba declares Oduduwa Republic now, that creates an immediate realization of new Biafra, and most possibly, other Niger Delta countries. |
nortcentrallord:In bold: which military said it has found GMB's certificate? Forget all those propaganda of falsehood. |
IYANGBALI:And you still de think say if GMB did not comply with electoral laws before contesting the election, his victory shall not be annulled? You think say the Law de respect any person? You think say de law de respect sentiments?[ INEC had no powers to disqualify Buhari - kowei. Buhari had to contest the election on the due date. |
whatup11:With scenes like this, you wonder why people still foolishly believe that One Nigeria can survive any longer than expected. The rush for crude oil in the N/Delta is doing a huge miracle of keeping Nigeria one so far. These northern youths wish Jonathan be sacked, only for Buhari to come from far north (Daura) to control receipts from crude oil in Jonathan's backyard. |
