My good people of nairaland and beyond, Pls I am presently working as a biometric staff with diamond bank as a contract staff. But I got offer from AB micro finance as a loan officer. The pay for diamond is 50k while that of AB is 70k. The diamond work come wit no stress while the AB micro finance is loaded wit stress and the threat to meet target. Pls give me your good advice my dear brothers.
You just advised yourself in the question, so what other advise do you need? Can you in all seriousness compare MFB job with that of a full fledged commercial bank? If them no follow you from village, stick to whatever it is you are doing at Diamond bank. The N20k difference that is pushing you now will not remain sustainable when they send you out from the MFB for not meeting a 'moving target'.

Does anybody know what the Nigerian law say about children born out of wedlock? I am left to raise a child alone without any income. I lost my job when I was pregnant with the baby. I moved in with my baby daddy when I was 3 months pregnant due to pressure from my immediate family, we lived together till I gave birth. After the baby was born, he chased me out of the house of which I borrowed him money to rent. I ve moved back into my family house with the baby. He has not paid me back the money I borrowed him and he is not assisting me in anyway to raise the child. I want to take this up with the law but I cannot afford the fee I may be charged and I am also worried I might not win the case because we are not married. Please I need your candid opinions
I have reviewed and slept over this matter and wish to advise that you make the best of a bad situation such as this. If you were married then you can get maintenance order from the appropriate court. To compound the matter, the law knows nothing about children born out of wedlock. All children are now legitimate under the law. Just use moral suasion. I wish you the best.

Dunno if your comment is for this post or if you mixed up a comment meant for another thread with the one meant for this one............

I started this thread with Living in the city without a job or handiwork, how ladies cope. This should tell you that the post is about a set of people and not all African women as u said in your comment.

Then I listed stuffs they do and the sorry life some of them live here and concluded by asking if the money is worth what they pass through.

So where and how did I bash womenhuh

As for the lady that stays @ home only when she is seeing her period, I won't say much about her but if you need proof then I suggest you come down here and I will host you until you are sure that I wasn't lying.

If in the end you didn't see enough evidence to believe then I will come online, create a thread and apologise to all ladies on Nland and deactivate afterwards.
While your response is not directly for me, i have no doubt whatsoever that i hold the same views as the guy you are responding to and my reasoning stands. Leave the girls/ladies/women alone. They never get it right with us men. When we are not querying why they haven't married, we are wondering whether it makes sense for them to live in a house as single ladies. Some say you should not date a lady that drives or owns a car, others say she should not be richer than you, Haba.

There is no evidence in the stuff you posted. If any lady comes to the city, she has come to make ends meet. I dont justify immorality but what guarantee is there that the person will still not be bot immoral and amoral in the village. Let them be, to each his own. A better question will be , what do PEOPLE gain when they leave the village and come to the city. We can then look at both the ladies and gentlemen.

Na wa for OBJ sef o.

The sensible thing to do would have been to release the info at his disposal to close associates for dissemination to the public. By him doing this all the time, it portrays him as disgruntled and pained even though he has a right to feel pained judging by how Jona deceived him.

JonaTAN is unapologetically deceitful, unfaithful, desperate, callous, corrupt, manipulative and above all dangerously divisive. He is not a type of leader deserving of Nigeria.

In any case, Jona is a goner. That is to say, come March 28, Nigerians will affirm that they have had enough of GEJ's cluelessness and wickedness.

GMB 2015.
What an irony. You called him all those names and still say he is clueless?

This clueless guy is just dribbling all of you and playing his card close to his chest. Who would have imagined that the elections will be postponed? What other aces do you think this man has? Yet you guys are calling him clueless. I have since learnt to respect his ingenuity. Think differently at your own peril.

Bruv, nothing wrong with swimming just like all and any other sports. Once it is regulated, it never kills. Swimming like boxing could be fun and may even save your life when in a tight corner, but could be deadly when not regulated. If you swim in the wild ocean, you may drown. If you engage in a street fight that is not regulated, you may get killed. What is important is that you know when to stop in all these sports.

I swim but i know the dangers associated with it. Even in a medium sized pool, you may have a muscle spasm and this could cause drowning if there is no one to rescue you.

In all these, i say God knows best. We need to be careful in all we do.

May his loved ones take heart.

May you continue to increase in wisdom bros.

I wonder o. Why is this a female only issue as some people already asked!? When guys / men do same, you don't have an issue with it.

And when these ladies ask you for money to arrange very basic things, you will be the first to come on Nairaland to call them all sorts of names. When they take the initiative, get the bull by it's horns to put their lives in order and be self-reliant and self-dependent, it is not good either.

And btw most ladies are smarter than you think bro, the ones that will prostitute will still do it even if they remain in the villages.

And you say you are not here to bash women, hmmmm.. That is exactly a good reflection of how female-unfriendly our society is. You gave the example of the one that only stays at home when she is having her period. How do you know? Did she tell you? Of course you are free to ask whatever question and however, it is a free world. But your approach and insinuations are flawed bro. Our women in Africa deserve more respect. They are the ones keeping the homes, in the village they do all sort of manial choirs (fetch water kilometers away from hom, fetch firewood, cook food, take care of the kids, serve the men sexually etc) in combination with the hardships some have to put up with, with some terrible in-laws. I actually thot this was really too low for me to respond to, but got encouraged by hardbody.
Thanks bro.

I am even encouraged by your post too. it is a terribly chauvinistic society.

I have a question for the OP. When men leave the village out of frustration and come to the cities without jobs? How do they cope? Take note, fellow men that are g.a.yy pick them up and screw dem up da azz, some ladies may see them in their near stranded state and take them to be servicing them after thoroughly cleaning up the guy. Yet there are others who come into the cities, struggle like their female counterparts and become useful. I am just getting sick and tired of these female bashing threads.

I guess I'm to believe you did not read the post at all? The elections was postponed without a strong plan from the FG in combating the insurgency and the President is now running and affiliating himself with the United States to help him combat the terror in his house just because the Americans are busy dealing with ISIS. Elections was postponed a week away from its original date and now their is confusion in the air as to how a six-year catastrophe can be dealt with in just six weeks.
How could you come to this conclusion? I read the piece too but did not walk away with same conclusions. Where is the confusion? Has the President not consistently been asking the US to provide help? the hypocrites who want Nigeria to disintegrate did not only refuse to sell ammunition to us but they also have asked Israel not to sell.

Folks like you do not understand that America has an interest in Nigeria which they are pursuing and Buhari will be the channel for their entry. I do not get involved in politics i am only interested in the sovereignty of this contraption called Nigeria
