This is where PDP has got it wrong including you .. No sir. When a man gives three different versions of where his certificates are located he is not a liar but a serial liar. First it was with the military, they denied him, then it was removed by Babangida they denied him , i dont recall his third location. Now WAEC and CAMBRIDGE virtually begged him to formally request for the results to be sent to Inec he refused. How else do i prove him an untruthful character. A man that lies once will lie again and again. I repeat, I am neither PDP nor APC nor am i a candidate for any party. I am only saying that GEJ is an acclaimed zoologist, this had not been controverted. Buhari is an acclaimed General in the army. This has been contested on the basis that he had no SSCE. Let him prove them wrong by presenting it, else his other qualifications are based on wrong foundation and therefore baseless. He may be otherwise good in other areas but he lied about his qualifications. Reality. |

free2ryhme: why not better still tell Nigerians what a party of rogues and vandals have to offer rather than engage in xter assassination. When you claim to be impeccable, the law allows your claim to integrity to be tested. Other cardinal issues are being thrown up but it is important to disgrace a liar who claims to be a saint. He may be all he claims but certainly he did not pass SSCE OR CAMBRIDGE or whatever fundamental entrance he needed to get to his apogee. He should simply admit that fact and he will be forgiven by people like us. That simple. |

afodimkpa: Based on the recent revelations on the role of the army, the former minister of state for defence, Mr Obanikoro, Ayo Fayose and other players in the Ekitigate Election rigging audio, it is almost certain that Buhari did submit the original copy of his certificate but some criminals in the Army must have stolen it from his file in the Military record office. Gen Alani A confirmed that he too submitted the original of his certificate, and this is understandable because at that time there were no Photocopying machines available. it is impossible for Buhari to have submitted a photocopy of his certificate as some unreasonable fellows expect.
The brigadier General who usurped the place of the Army spokesperson to make pronouncement on this issue on national Tv should be investigated for the whereabout of the missing certificate. Mr Akinrinade has no certificate either. He is using tbis opportunity to claim what he never had just like buhari. |

But why is it difficult for Buhari to produce the original copy of the certificate?
He did. As I speak to you, I don’t know where my original certificate is because we gave the original to the Military Board. They took it from us when we applied to join the Army. You give the original copy of credential to the board. They take it and keep it in your file, that’s what happened. How many years ago? 50 years. And Nigeria with our (poor) record-keeping and filing things into an archive -if we have an archive at all; an archive inhabited by rats and cockroaches. I think it’s an insult. I take it as a personal insult.
The army denied this and WAEC specifically asked the supposed owner to ask for a statement of result so it can be released to an authority needing to sight it. Till today Buhari has not applied . Does that tel uou anything? |

Why do we always find reasons why ladies don't get married. Marriage is good but is it the ultimate? Can't a lady live a fulfilling life even if unmarried? I had this uncle that could not toast a babe and he was pushing 50 when my mum toasted a babe for him and sorted out the meeting and even what the man should say. Let's cut these ladies a slack. Some will prefer to have babies and not stay under any man. It is their choice and must be respected. To each his own. |

Nairaland General › Re: What's Your Advice To Help.. Mom Is In Detention. by hardbody: 10:18am On Feb 07, 2015 |
chocolateme: With heavy heart, I narrate to you how my mom ended up in SARS custody till today. I may not be able to give every single detail of what happened but please feel my pain and give me your opinion and advice. It may be a bit long but please bear with me.
My parents stay at Anambra but I and my sister stay in Lagos due to our job, I called my mom on Wednesday last 2 days but her number was switched off and I called dad who said mom's phone is broken and that they will call us back when he gets to the house. Ok they never called, yesterday. The same excuses, I asked him if there is any problem, he replied ''no''.
Suddenly by 5.30 this morning he called that we should open the gate for him, meaning that he came to Lagos on night bus. We were surprised, though not that surprised because he is meant to leave for China tomorrow for business.
He opened up this morning that on Wednesday around 5am, their house help woke up to go and switch on the sumo to pump water and saw about five men jumping into our compound through the fence, she ran to their room and woke them, they started hearing loud bangs on the gate from outside and on the iron door entrance to our house. They later realized it was the police but SARS.
Before now, we had business setback and loaned around 2.8m from the bank, (3 years now to be precise). I don't know how they calculated the interest but last year they refused to accept the loan amount first so we can be paying the interest in instalments. So now it accumulated, my dad said the bank said its 7m that we shall pay and even one of our shops that was used as collateral wasn't moving well due to location so it was rented out but it is still my day's property and the local government has its evidence of existence and ownership. The loan was collected by my mom via my dad's signature and paper, they run different lines of businesses and both travels too.
It was the bank that sent them that morning, knowing that it will be very difficult to make contacts to alleviate the situation if they arrest my dad, my mom decided that dad hides so she could speak with them. My dad went up to our penthouse. They ransacked every where in the house and did not see him, one of them noticed the penthouse and went up threatening to break the door ( they were 8 in number). My mom told them that she is the one that got the loan not her husband, that she will go with them to their office.
She changed into her clothes and they took her away till today, my dad has been trying all possible best to bail her through the lawyer but its hard, then they started trailing my dad. The lawyer advised him to leave the state because it will be worst if they catch him and if they catch him, he should forget about traveling or access to make contact while in detention. Secondly it is really important for him to travel as his flight has been booked, since today, so much efforts have been put in to bail her but to no avail, the top ranked police officer has put a call through from Abuja but yet nothing. I don't know how much the SARS were paid.
They went with the shop's original documents and the lawyer today to the shop and the Manager ended up rejecting it after evaluation with reasons that it will not fetch them seven million, its harder because the former bank manager just retired and this is a new manger. The lawyer wanted to file a court case but the NBA Anambra is still on strike that's why it's difficult to bail her.
Her BP is fast going out of hand and she has refused to eat since Wednesday only water. My brother with the lawyer has taken her drugs to her, the lawyer has decided that by Monday, they file the case on Federal high court and that way, they will grant her bail. Everyone is panicking, I don't understand and I don't know but we all unanimously accept that dad should not go there. Though so far, he is getting help from his contacts, but what I know is that the amount 7m is unacceptable. I feel it's unfair to jump into our private property through the fence as if they were coming to catch a criminal, the Manager has turned deaf ear to everybody's plea to grant mom bail on her health status. Well that's all I understand for now, so she will stay there till Monday again, I don't even know what to do to help. Do you have anything helpful as per advice so we see if she can be released before Monday? Monday sef is too far. My dad is so pale now and is refusing to eat too. Let your lawyer apply for bail in court under the Fundamental Human Rights Procedure. A commercial loan default is not criminal except your dad has issued a dud cheque. She will be released by Monday. Cheer up. |

As you begin to acquire necessary professional experience and other notable achievements and skills, you can then remove the cgpa from the Cv.
I would have loved to include my CGPA on my own Cv had it been I was a bright student back then in school. Unfortunately I struggled like crazy before I was able to make this nonsense third class my village people cursed me with right now.

makeitplain: Who told u that? They are not better anything, We are on the same page. Naija is wrong to one extreme side and Ghana is wrong to the other extreme side. How can u say the ghanahian pronunciation is correct? Simple question, lets say u might never have been to either the UK or North America before, but at least u watch Hollywood movies right?. Do those white folks u see in the movie speak like Ghanhians? Do they say pastar or chech?
Let me break it down for u. Lets use CHURCH as example here. Nigerian, Chuch or Chawch---- Ghana Chech neither is correct cos when u pronounce church u put stress on the middle syllable cos it has an R in it more like Ch-urr-ch. But from both Chuch and Chech there is no R stress on the syllable when the word is pronounced. So what u will have is Chu'ch for Naija or Che'ch for Ghana. Any native speaker will never think such is close unless the ones that have been having African friends
What most people don't know, (even many living abroad) is that native English speakers most of the time, strive to understand u when u speak ur Naija or Ghana accent not word by word but by context. So when u are neatly dressed holding ur bible on a sunday morning and u say "hey friend em going to chech" well, u are already looking like u are going to church so he can quickly conclude that u must mean "church" when u said chu'ch or che'ch. Interestingly, i can relate with your analysis and the analogies in between. I know a whole lot about accents especially as they affect different parts of the UK (North, South, etc). Perhaps you are right about both nations being on different extremes. It is maybe the drawl that appears half accentuated in Ghanian usage and none in Nigerian context that seemed to tilt my views. In all, i think i agree with you. |
