We(the church) prayed and suddenly the 'idea'came as to where to look. It was a strange and impossible place to look, but we did look in faith. Lo and behold, it was there, and it was recovered. The then 'unserious' brother is a pastor today. He was too shocked, and not only him we were. God can help you get what you are looking for, and He can choose not to. He is Sovereign, duh.
Dogs have combed several places in search of missing people and in crime scenes, sometimes to no avail. It doesn't mean they are useless. Torchlights have their days and usefulness too but it would be silly to conclude they have no use since they couldn't help you locate your lost keys. The point is that people have several testimonies of how God helped them and saved them from being lost, from ritualists, kidnappers etc. You can't take it away from them. Your ignorance and lack of a broad perspective does not stop the work of God.

The God u just described above is called "Coincidence". All glory be to Coincidence, the God of all christians. If it happens then it is his/her/it's will, if it does not happen, it is still his/her/it's will. That is called Coincidence. So do you worship coincidence?

You may not get physical proof for something abstract. Like the analogy that i made, If i said that money was my motivation to win, how do i prove it? Am i the only contestant that had money as motivation? While it may not add up like 2+2, it doesn't change the fact that money can be a motivation to achieve. You asked the benefits of communing with God and listed them later, remember? Some people do receive inspiration and some kind of firing up after communion with God. That answers your question and OP. If you cannot understand such a simple thing, it would get more abstract for you if explained other ways.

Of cos God can be your motivation. Even a dead person can be enough motivation. But a dead person is not as useful to me as a living or dead dog. If I had a dead dog, I could choose to convert the dog to food. That is by the way anyway.

Having money as motivation does not mean I communed with money and money told me how to win a race. So is "god", god could be a source of motivation, but how do you commune with this "god" and how did he help an athlete win a race? Motivation is in the head, so perhaps god is not real just as so many things we could draw motivation from. I could draw motivation from Elsa in the animated movie "FROZEN" or from Harry Potter too

Earlier in January this year, the American CIA released hundreds of thousands of declassified information and cables.

Among the information exposed was how the CIA covered up some suspected supernatural occurences.

Apart from the covered up case of Uri Geller who carried out supernatural experiments successfully even under the monitoring of the CiA, it was also revealed that many cases of reported sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO) in the sky were also covered up.

We all know that many of these agencies of developed countries dont tell us everything.
Maybe becuse They always want us to believe that they are in perfect control of the universe...

In my opinion, I think there is every reason to suspect.
Having seen that we are not being told everything that is happening on the planet.
Especially things that point to the supernatural..

That could be true. What do we know for sure. But I have my suspicions and I believe it is highly likely we have had interactions with extraterrestrial beings. Evolving from cavemen to space travellers somehow seems like an evolution we attained too quickly

But the question is, would aliens serve man? Obviously they are more powerful than we are. And what has traditional worship got to do with aliens?

the guy is like a friend to me,i knew he's the one but not 100%,let me say 90% sure.
i told him i will do something and he's even advicing me to do it i was like well done.
i met this guy that introduce me to that man.
i explain to the baba and he asked if i'm ready to spend money,i said yes only if i will get my phone back.
i paid the next day and i was told to list names that he will point him out and if he's not there he will tell me.he showed a name and it match with my first (only) suspect ,though i include names of people that are far ftom me to test the man from there.he gain my trust .
and after those incantation i heard voice from one small stone ((((((its not from outside ooo))))) i'm very vigilant about foul play there .
those things are talking fast and its not any language of this world 100% sure.the man was decoding,i was having goosebumps througout the time ,the man was interpreting.
he told me the phone is with him that i will see my phone the next day ((((failed)))) cus the guy returned it the 4th day.

he cant stay alone in a room or anywhere he will be felling the presence of things he himself dont see clearly,he said they are like hiding

So why do you say they are aliens? Why not demons?

That is exactly why I created this thread. But I see a lot of sense in their existence.
It is even likely life did not start on earth as we know it, we could be a product of an extraterrestrial biosphere.

The striking similarities btwn aliens and demons. But I believe they are not spiritual being, just that they are more evolved than we are and most likely have a more developed technology they use in mystifying themselves.

I am beginning to think organized religion may have it's origin in Alien worship. Symbolisms of the egyptians and mayans could actually have an extra terrestrial origin. Same with mathematics, it's very likely we did not develop mathematics on our own or the ability to even write.

By the way image123, don't forget that religious people praise god in all situations. Even those that did not win, even in failure. So it is self defeating to claim god does anything, after all, he/she/it is praised in all situation.

Unlike a dog, I can't claim a dog rescued my child if a dog was never involved in the rescue. But god is praised in all. Different gods, all situations, it's just a cluster of confusion and self delusion.

i don't disbelieve them, you're the one that does. The OP asked for the usefulness of communing with God and i gave him common knowledge. Thousands of people from time immemorial have stated that God/gods have been useful to them contrary to the ignoring presumption of the OP. Dogs are useful personally to him but not to millions of other people.

Imagine your child gets lost in the woods (in a country where they do things right), is god useful or a dog useful in tracking the child?

Doing incidences of collapsed buildings and natural disaster; is god useful or are dogs useful in search and rescue?
