It is laughable when you see people who are clearly partisan claim to be patriots. Everyone claim to be patriots fighting for the interest of the country and common man.
Truth is these so called patriots are nothing but Hypocrites who have zero interest in nation building or bringing sanity to the polity. They are paid stooges that sit tight online to fight for their pay masters while pretending to be patriots.

Let's stop abusing this glorious word. You all are not patriots but hypocritical defenders of your pay masters.

You have not made clear how the fear of darkness or of strange sounds (which you purport, without evidence, to be ghost murmurs) imply belief in a supreme god. You may want to reformulate the procedure of your experiments and come up with a more appropriate conclusion than this shoddy job.

I wonder why christians keep going about telling everyone Jesus is the answer.
Christians have cancer, they have problems getting jobs, they go hungry, they owe school fees, they owe house rents, they need money, they need husbands, they are just Humans just like everyone else.
Everyone and anyone can have life challenges. Jesus is a placebo that gives a sense of hope that would help them keep going (which is good anyway)

I am an atheist as many contradictions in the bible coupled with real life experiences and other people's ideology have made me seriously doubt the existence of God..
But as of late,I feel everything I do is being made a failure..
I graduated since 2014 with a 2'1 but can't get a job, living itself is a problem as bills are piled up and everything I do seems a failure..

My mum once told me that because I refuse to believe in God I will not get what I look for,although I outrightly dismissed this motion...

My dear, No God or supreme force can punish you for not believing in man made myths.

To be an atheist, you have to be strong, determined, focused and more smart working than religious people.

It happens to everyone, christians, muslims, atheists, buddhists, hindus... Name it. Difference is prayers and the bible provides a sense of security and hope. You are comforted by the idea that "God" has got you back. Believe me it helps a lot. You need a sense of hope and as an atheist the only way is to create opportunities you can be optimistic about.

Pigs are also VERY intelligent. Even in terms of the use of their sense of smell and trainability. Pigs have done more sophisticated tasks than dogs. The only advantage dogs have over pigs is maintenance of dogs is far more easier.
Let's stop making it look so bad that dogs are eaten. Else we all have to agree no animal deserves to be eaten, then we have to form a commitee to go and explain our resolution with the lions and other carnivores so we stop killing "each other".
Do a google search on the millions of unwanted dogs the United states puts to sleep every year. Imagine that volume of protein going to waste.
That amount of meat would have been better used as fish food so we can raise fish with them and then eat the fishes so people who don't eat dogs can benefit instead of wasting all those tonnes of protein.

But it is funny when chickens, goats, cows, turkeys etc are used for food right?
I don't eat dogs and don't think I can, but meat is meat and the world is not as fair as we want to assume. The reality is Humans feed on animals and dog or goat, all have the "right" to be eaten by us.

From what I've seen, it's quite likely that the number of dogs bred all over the country vastly exceeds the number of people who want those dogs and have the resources to take care of them adequately. What happens to the dogs that breeders can't sell, owners don't want, etc?

I think it makes sense they end up with those willing to turn them to food (calabar, ondo, Angas, people will put them to good use). Better than the millions of dogs america puts to sleep and still costs them a lot to dispose the bodies.
