Since I stopped fasting, my general health has improved. I don't fall ill as often as before and I recover from stress much faster.

There are religions in Asia and South america that use sharp objects to pierce their bodies, flogging themselves to stupor and paint the street with their flowing blood. I guess since what they are doing is hard, it proves that they have a higher mental capacity than u christians

The reason why many christians are not commenting on this thread is cos if they agree with felix, they know they are declaring themselves stupid for this is a really high level of stupidity. If they admit the stupidity of the Op then they know they would not be helping the faith they are supposed to be defending.

It is Very difficult to be religious, it is Very tasking to be religious, it takes it toll on you. Especially christianity.
Why felix is right
- it requires a lot of mental power to keep inventing excuses for the things that don't make sense in religion.
- you need a lot of imagination to keep seeing demons, witches and enemies all around. Very challenging mentally.

-it requires a lot of mental effort to pray in tongues and believe you are making sense.

-it requires a lot of mental strength to believe giving 10% of your income to a church would make you richer.

-it takes a lot of mental strength to pretend a god answers prayers.

-it takes a lot of mental strength to believe an ALL LOVING Father prepared an eternally burning FIRE for those who don't believe in him or even did normal things like stare at a woman's butt.

-it takes a lot to believe that God heals but does not heal amputees...

You are right. Christians have a terribly hard life and they have to task their brains to justify the hardship they add to their lives.

your mistake is that somehow you are under the impression that any atheists here is under any form of contest with you over whose life is harder - that's not an achievement or are you under the naive assumption that a more demanding life is equal to mental stability?
