this is nothing but an excuse to do what you really want to do. you don't believe in your god. God is just a convenient excuse for you when it suits you and to be discarded when his laws and instructions to you are not favorable. why don't you leave unbelievers to execute them, while you trust god and forgive as he as asked you to do? If you uphold the law so much, why do you Christians complain when the law does not favor you? what if there is a law that all Christians should be killed (as it was in ancient times). you Christians would just be capping rubbish. exactly the problem many ignore. as far as i am concerned, the best way to raise children is in a home where both parents are married.

Personally I can attribute my success in life to the fact that I grew up in a two-parent home filled with love, care and intention. I think what you fear is not being with a good woman. Not marriage in itself.

By all means, don't get married if you don't want kids, but please don't raise one outside it. A woman sacrifices her life to birth a kid, and her body undergoes irreversible changes.

Then labour, and to care for a child saddled to her for decades to come, multiplied by two, three or four children. Because women may not contribute financially as much as men doesn't mean they are not paying their own dues.


Supporting a family you confess to love should not be a big deal, unless you do not see her as part of you, to become one, united under one surname and promise. Also life is lived immaterially.

Your life will become wholesome through channels like family, to be loved, purpose, emotions, career, meaning, etc. Money is only a vehicle to the actualisation of the above, and should not be the end.

People learn these lessons as they grow older, and it is immature to discard old cultural practices that have stood the test of time due to modern ideologies. Marriage is not the problem, it's good women and and of course, good men.

If you want her to give her best, you must give her the best. You should love her and give her a home, because that's what she will give to your child. If you deprive her of care, you deprived your child also and you will pay dearly for it.

Lots of people have kids that hate them, also that women have a huge influence on their kids, don't be that kind of father. The energy and strategy you devise in sustaining a baby mama is less compared to one needed to look for a good woman and marry her.

child custody is NEVER guaranteed, whether with a babymama or a wife. if your wife/babymama is abusive or a junky etc then she will NOT get custody, same as if "you" are useless as a father. remember, just because you aint married to a woman, does NOT mean you lose your rights as a father. whether married or babymama, you have the exact same rights towards that child.

have you considered the intricacies of day to day life of your baby with a baby mama? I understand the legal angle you are looking at things from, but pratically, it is more risky to have a child with a woman who is not your wife. it is better to accommodate her and let her be in your house caring for the child.
