I was filling an online application and saw RESOURCES: educationUSA. Does it mea i must go through them? I want to know this before i pay the aplication fee, cos i cant afford to go and drop another 200usd for educationUSA. Instead, i would rather choose another schl. Kindly advice gurus

I have sent ets an email. I'm waiting for their response. I would suggest you reschedule your exam to one university in cotonu called america intl.... Bla bla university. I heard they have all the facilities and people are writing it there. Just that the centre is not always available online cos they are always occupied

bro, if you don't want to waste your time and resources. I would advise you reschedule. The university in portnovo is just like a mushroom secondary school. Imagine, an institution having internet problem for the past 2weeks.

My displeasure goes to ETS today totally. My exam was first scheduled for ibadan which was later cancelled. They later gave me a voucher code to register free to any neighbouring country which I did. On getting to the centre at ESCAE in portnuvo, we were all told they had internet problem since 2 weeks now, and that for such reason, no one will be able to take the test. LOBATAN. What does this ETS turn us to? Don't I have my right? I'm so sad after the stress of transportation and touting at the boarder. Imagine. Pls assist ooo

If you don't correct it now, you may find yourself in a big mess on the exam day. Just give it a try by logging into your profile with your username and password. Then try to edit if it works. And if not, you need to put a call to them again and it will definitely be corrected. They have a direct access to your profile. Hope it helps

Hi house, kindly assist. I got a mail from ets last week that I have been rescheduled for jan 10 in ibadan. I wrote them a mail of my disatisfaction and that they should look for a way around it to reschedule me for a neighbouring country so that I can write the exam before december. On checking my profile again, I realised the jan 10 has been cancelled. Now I have sent them series of mail to reschedule me but no replies from them. I tried making another order but its bringing me a 175usd option and not 25usd for reschedule. Can anyone tell me how to go about making a reschedule?

Ashigolo: @harkynon, yes i still paid a rescheduling fee of 50 dollars for my gre coz i cant wait to be rescheduled free of charge as i dnt knw when d centres are likely ro be re-opened. As for my toelf, i registered after the closure of centres so i scheduled directly to ghana. But am sure u will have to pay a re-scheduling fee since u have to re-schedule yourself due to urgency. And last time i checked etstoefl, there are avaiable test dates for november , including weekends in cotonou or ghana.

I was rescheduled to jan 14 at ibadan before. Now checking my profile on ets, I realised it has been cancelled. What can I do now? I need to write this exam before mid december

@Ashigolo, did you pay any fee for the reschedule or how did you go about it cos it wasn't your fault that centres were closed in Nigeria. I would appreciate your response as I am also a victim

@godG, sorry about your withdrawn TOEFL, Afe Babalola centre is a cesspool of corruption. Your next TOEFL is on me, come to my office or PM me your details (as I promised on my other thread). You are a good guy and you deserve the best.


As for prospective GRE students, do yourself a favor and write in Ghana. Last time I checked they had Mon - Wed from now till December. Minimize costs by balkanizing your Journey.... You'll spend less than 7k to Ghana. Get hostels @ Tudu instead of an hotel, it will cut cost.


Finally, should Nigerian TOEFL centres be reopened, avoid Ibadan centres like plague, Trust me I know.

guys, i just wrote my gre and had 311 in all, 3.5 in analytical. But i just got a lucrative job that i can save alot. I would like to know if USA schs and immigration wont disturb me or refuse me of visa if i dont apply to any institution for the next 4 yrs for masters program. kindly advice
