The restaurant is known for its red and yellow colour scheme and meat pies. Mr Bigg's history begins with the coffee shops inside Kingsway Department Stores in the 1960s. In 1973, these shops were rebranded as Kingsway Rendezvous, which became Mr Bigg's in 1986. The chain saw rapid expansion after becoming one of the first Nigerian companies to sell franchises to investors. |

Nocommonsense: what I’m saying is that he can easily build his career fast in Lagos than Ibadan .if you want to be successful don’t go for comfort baba, I left lagos for my mental health, there's nothing to build in Lagos apart from stress and constant brokenness. If he stays in Lagos with 200k, he'll spend half of his life on the road. For example, 200k can't get him an apartment in VI, so he'll choose somewhere cheaper, iyanoba or Barracks, or iyana ipaja. In other to get to work on time, he has to leave house by 5:00am, and eventually he'll get home by 9:00pm. How much time does he have to rest. He cannot cook, so he'll choose to eat outside, minimum of 500 Naira on the mainland, 1000 upwards on the island. Calculate 1500 daily for 30days. Then calculate his transport fare to and fro for 22 days, while some would go for 26 days. |

TheSociopath: But will he grow in that Ibadan? He will eventually move to Lagos nooni. It's better to move now and acclimatise move to Lagos to do what exactly, I guess to suffer. Guess how much for Rent in VI, Costain, mIke 2, Barracks, Iyana ipaja etc |

Idrismusty97: You don't know Lagos and where this VI is. He can't even get a decent apartment with 3 months of the salary (600k), maybe one room in the island for 700k that's turns to swimming pool during the raining season or he goes to the mainland and rent for at least 300-400k. Transmuting 3rd mainland bridge with terrible traffic everyday, wakeup 4am and get back home 10pm only to repeat the same thing the next day. Not to talk of food, he dare not buy food in VI, one plate may go for 2-5k. How much remain for the salary? When he could just have peace of mind in Ibadan, 1 month salary is enough for a decent accomodation with less cost of living. no mind the guy |

23tayo: 100k job in ibadan or 200k job in lagos VI Oga, stay in Ibadan. A room self in VI is 500-700k, a room self In Costain is about 350k. Consider the stress, noise and the transportation problem. I left that state just to have my sanity. Transportation and housing are the two expensive things in Lagos. |

Proflere: Solving the problem of Okada is very easy.. Stop arresting just the bike owner, start arresting the passengers too.. If there is no demand, supply will be affected!!!
But then, can we start looking forward to how to industrialize Nigeria so that people can have sensible jobs to do rather than risking their lives. e be like say you no dey lagos? |
