The formal student of Kwara State Polytechnic who joined the industry in 2008, has lots of movies to her credit, both the English and Yoruba genre. In a new interview with Vanguard, the Kwara state born actress who is based Malaysia talked about her acting career, her soon-to-be released movie, ‘Eko’, and how her body feature has helped in getting her roles. Read excerpts below:
What are you currently working on?
My movie ‘Eko’ which literally means ‘Lesson’. The film is an eye-opener for people who believe that without travelling abroad they cannot make it in this life. The film is planned to educate them that it’s not until you travel abroad before you make it, just focus on what you’re doing and you can make it anywhere.
Which has been your biggest movie so far?
It’s a movie called Ere; a Yoruba movie. There’s another one called Omo Malaysia. In fact , there are many of them I can’t remember right now
How has the journey in Nollywood been?
Stressful, I will say. For one, there is the issue of location logistics. At times they may lodge you in a hotel without adequate facilities. And because this is a profession you love, you have to manage whatever is thrown at you. Even feeding, at times on location, becomes a problem because adequate provisions are not made. It has not been easy, at all, but we have to stick to it because it is a profession we love.
My Boobs Have Helped My Acting Career - Bridget Amos
What has been your biggest challenge so far?
You know Jide Kosoko? There was a time I was supposed to play a role alongside him but he brought someone else instead. He said he wanted the person to play the role in my place. I felt very bad. Along the line he changed his mind and asked me to take the role but I had been so heartbroken that I couldn’t pick myself up again. I eventually lost the role.
How do you get into character when you see scripts?
Since you love it and you enjoy doing it, it’s very easy. If you love acting, once you’re given a role it would be easy for you to act it out.
Who is your biggest inspiration in acting?
Ayo Adesanya
Can you do something sexy in a movie?
Yes, I can be very sexy and very romantic.
Can you flaunt your boobs, stuff like that?
It’s part of acting so I can do it. I can play any role. Once you’re an actor, you should be able to play any role
Have your boobs ever helped you in getting a role?
Yes, they have. In one English movie, though the movie is not yet out, they wanted someone that has big boobs and can flaunt it, so they called me. I was called by Laitan Sugar and it was because of my boobs they called me for that job. I played the role of a bad character in the movie

Politics › Re: No More Business As Usual, Buhari Warns by harry509: 10:43pm On May 27, 2015 |
drizzydrag: President-elect Muhammadu Buhari has reaffirmed his willingness to work with any leader of the National Assembly that the process throws up,irrespective of what part of the country he or she comes from.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Mr. Buhari said that this has become necessary in view of the continued name-dropping in some circles linking his name to some candidates.
“I am prepared to work with any leaders that the House or Senate selects,” Mr. Buhari said in the earlierstatement two weeks ago. “It doesn’t matter who the person is or where he or she is from.
”He added: “there is due process for the selection of leaders of the National Assembly, and I will not interfere in that process”.
Their has been controversy over the election of new leaders of the Senate and House of Representatives, as the All Progressives Congress which has the majority seats has failed so far to allocate the offices to different regions of the country.
Sources in the party say the delay is apparently because Mr. Buhari has refused to approve any formula for the election.
Leaders of the party say the APC will not jettison zoning, but add that the party will consider merit first. The president-elect has insisted he will not back any candidate.
In his statement Wednesday, Mr. Buhari said the media and the public should begin to get used to no more “business as usual”.
“Nigeria has indeed entered a new dispensation,” he said. “My administration does not intend to repeat the same mistakes made by previous governments.”

BeeBeeOoh: Jamiu Yisa
A student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, was shot dead in broad daylight in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, southwest Nigeria, on Tuesday by people suspected to be cultists.
The victim was identified as Agoro Omokoleola, whose Facebook ID is Omokoleola Cool Cash.
P.M.NEWS reliably gathered that the manner he was lured out of his family house and killed, suggests that the operation was carried out by suspected rival cult group.
The motive for the dastardly act could not be ascertained by our correspondent as at the time of filing this report.
It was gathered that the incident has been reported to the police.
Family sources disclosed that Omokoleola was invited from his home through a phone call he received at about 12 noon on Tuesday.
Unknown to him, the phone call was a bait for him to come out of his home.
On getting to where his killers made the call asking him to meet with some of his friends, he was shot in the head and his attackers escaped.
The assailants went away with his phone after shooting him apparently to prevent the victim’s relatives from discovering the identity of the caller who lured him out of home.
Family sources said further that he was preparing to take his breakfast when the call came and by the tone of his response, the caller was a familiar person to the deceased.
It was gathered that passers-by who knew his parents reported the incident to them.
By the time his parents and relatives arrived the scene of the attack, he was still breathing and was rushed to the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu where he later died.
Omokoleola was in Ijebu Ode to attend the wedding of his sister which took place last Saturday and was about going back to school with his bags packed before he was shot dead.

martyns303: I'm typing this from my mobile phone and I am in a hurry as I have a bucket of water I need to go get, I'm hoping to get a reasonable objective advice soon.
Due to whatever reason, we had not had power supply for over a week now and our water tank has run out of water, fuel is also too expensive in my area to use the generator as I will have to turn off everything to make sure only the borehole gets electricity.
With no option at hand I had to take jerrycan and buckets to the next building where water is being sold, on getting there I found this 16-17yrs old girl as the attendant, I noticed she kept looking at me awkwardly, after filling my buckets she refused taking money from me, I insisted as I would need to fetch a lot of water. Unknown to me she has been subsidizing the amount I spend, meaning if I had fetched N100 worth she only takes N50.
Now each time I go there, she keeps looking directly into my eyes, smiling unnecessarily, and it is making me feel uncomfortable.
I don't know if I should be angry or feel sorry for her, I can't possibly go inside and report her to her parents, I have been looking for a way to caution her but each time I go to get water there are also other people there and I don't want to be unreasonably rude. if I wia u bro I wil jst pack out frm dat area and also look 4 a vry gud borehole 2 fetch water. Crime › Re: 2 Police Men Beaten To Pulp By A Labourer In Lagos.. by harry509: 4:09pm On May 27, 2015 |
BeeBeeOoh: A 30-year-old labourer, Ebo Ikechukwu, who allegedly beat two policemen to a pulp, on Wednesday appeared before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court, Lagos. The accused, a resident of No. 14, Turner Ojo Road, Ajegunle, a Lagos suburb, is facing a two-count charge of assault and unlawful damage. The prosecutor, Cpl. John Iberedem, told the court that the accused committed the offences on May 14 at Amore Street, Olodi- Apapa.
Iberedem said the accused assaulted two police officers — Ebute Bernard and Haruna Kayode — by beating them up, while performing their lawful duty. He said the accused was caught roaming the street at about 1.00 a.m. and was questioned by the policemen. Iberedem said Ikechukwu could not give any tangible reason for staying out late.
“The police officers arrested him.The accused became very violent and started beating them. “Ikechukwu also damaged the windscreen of a bus valued at N 30,000 belonging to one Mr Bamidele Muyideen.” The prosecutor said the offences contravened Sections 171 and 337 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
Section 171 prescribes a three-year jail term for assault occasioning harm, while Section 337 provides three years for unlawful damage. The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges. The Senior Magistrate, Mr G.L. Otepo, granted the accused bail in the sum of N50, 000 with two sureties in like sum. He adjourned the case till June 20 for mention.

iamkay: Yesterday, Female hostelites of IYAT and Male hostelites of UK Hall had a brawl with one another.
According to the story we heard, some Female hostelites yesterday went to buy bags of pure water at UK hall, this was because the woman that sells stuff at IYAT inflated the price of bag of pure water to N180 instead of the normal N100. Apparently, it was still N100 at the Male hostel, so the girls decided to buy it there to save costs. The Male hostelites didn't like it, so they started calling the girls names like "olosho" and all sorts, which was said to have been a tradition with male hostelites some times when Female hostelites visits the male hostel. As if that wasn't enough the guys resulted in pouring urines on the girls. The girls left the hostel feeling embarrassed.
Later on that fateful day, a guy went to visit girl at IYAT hostel, the girls having heard the tale of what happened at the Male hostel to their colleagues, the girls obviously angry started pouring water on the guy, before they later found out he wasn't an hostelite, they apologised to the guy and cleaned him up.
SUG Excos later went to talk with the girls. Holar Holar(SUG President) later went to apologize, he prostrated, but the girls were not having any of it. They poured all sorts of things on his body including water, not minding the position he holds.
Male Hostelites on hearing this got angry, who started throwing stones towards IYAT hostel, the girls in turn did the same. The guys decided to start throwing sticks.
The CSO later came to try to settle things and left.
