Thank you for your response, we will use that but is 40k too much for a borehole or okay.
Dear All
Our engineer charged us N460k for a two bedroom bungalow, not the main building o. Labour alone is N100 000. The land is at Ajah side.
Is the amount on a high side please advice on way to go. @ 40k, i will advice you to do 2 and 1 spare one, and for the other question cant say what the money is for from what you wrote. |

Digging a borehole or a well?
your responses will be appreciated borehole, which you will still use after the construction, cos, even you do a well now, you will still need the borehole when you move in, so why not NOW. |

luluosas: The problem with most Nigerians is their I don't call attitudes towards serious issues. Imagine people with their eyes wide open allow sentiments, ethnicity and religious affiliations to becloud them during the just concluded elections. Why are you all pissing here? Where you not part of the people that brought them back to power? Anyway, this is just the beginning. I am quiet sure that, those of you calling for REVOLUTION knows that, you have already missed the opportunity for real and tangible revolutions. The ballot paper in your hand was the greatest weapon you were actually looking for the revolution, but, you allowed yourselves to be misled. No amount of your calling for revolution or peaceful protest will ever gain any meaningful insight. They care less about you now that, you have given them the POWER they were hungrily looking for. Your actions during the just concluded elections shows that, YOU were not ready for any CHANGE yet. You have voted them and you will be forced to agree with whatever decisions they will take. Nigeria, welcome to backwardness. +6.7 |

for all those that are saying " i want money" definitely you all know that money will not fall from the sky, so what are you thinking of that will bring in the money? by the time you have your plans and work on it, i believe the money will come. also for those looking for jobs, why not think of creating one yourself?
i honestly believe the market in nigeria is very virgin waiting for bright ideas, anything you believe you are good at, then look for a way commercialising it.
i will also recommend this book for all here, it will at least bring out some of your wicknesses. THINK AND GROW RICH by Napoleon Hill |

Re: The Real Cost Of Building A Six Bedroom Duplex « #2294 on: Yesterday at 16:30:13 » Hello house, I really appreciate this thread, thanks to all. My question goes to those developing in Eti-Osa LGA, Lagos. please how much do you think i should pay the Local government council as development fee for a story building. Why I am asking, is because they serve me a paper to pay 200k before commencing work. Opinion needed.
Thanks
its about negotiation, i gave them 20k and paid 25k officially |

feelamong: This guy was really brave to say the truth, The election was far from being free and fair. We moved away from the very shmabolic elections of OBJ and Iwu but we are still far from being there.
I think jega Under estimated the extent the PDP would go to rig the election. They infilterated the dreaded ' Collation centers' and made sure they rigged the elections in their favour.
As for the Presido election results in the SS and SE, hmmmmmmm, we are all witnesses!!! We shall await the Forensic results that would be done on these ballot papers soonest (If the ruling govt thru the courts and INEC would allow)
Unless the nation is built on a foundation of Justice and Equity, we would all be wasting time and just doing like the proverbial ostrich who buried its head in the sand, +6.7 |

Islam › Ordained Catholic Priest Converts To Islam by hasyak(op): 8:43am On May 03, 2011 |
Having been an ordained Catholic priest, Idris Tawfiq spends his time now talking about the wonders of being a Muslim. Khadija Gulamhusein caught up with him on a visit to England. When Idris Tawfiq walked into the emel offices on a cold Friday evening, I felt instantly at ease. He had a gentle manner about him and a soft-spoken disposition that did not mask his passion for religion and his work. We spoke in-depth about Islam, Christianity, and his interfaith work. I asked him what it was that first attracted him to Islam. I had assumed that his response would refer to the theological or ethical aspects of the religion. Instead, he nostalgically relayed a life-changing encounter he experienced on a visit to Egypt. “My introduction to Islam came from a little boy on the street in Cairo, cleaning shoes with small plastic flip-flops on his feet. He saw my white skin and greeted me with assalamu alaikum. For 40 years in Britain, I’d seen Muslims; I’d seen them in the streets, and I knew what the TV told me — that Muslims chop your hands off and they beat women, but that little boy started the whole journey off.” Tawfiq’s credits him with all that he has achieved. “I told the audience at Manchester Metropolitan University about the boy. I told them that on Judgement Day he would get the shock of his life. His good deeds and bad deeds will be read out from a clear book, and when his good deeds are finished, he will think, ‘That’s all the good I’ve done in this life.’ But then the angels will read out the shahadas that have been declared because of him, the books that have been written on Islam because of him, the articles, the TV programmes, this interview itself—all because of him.” to cntinue reading the story go to the link below http://emel.com/article?id=85&a_id=2368 |

kulutempa: Once upon a time there were three business partners whose names are Ayodele, Musa, and Okechukwu. They opened a joint business bank account and the arrangement was that all the income from their business activities would be paid into the account. Every four years they hold a general meeting with their shareholders to decide who should be the CEO. However after a few years it was noticed that the contribution from Ayodele and Okechukwu to the business profits was rising while that of Musa was decreasing. At the last meeting which was held on 16 April 2011, Musa said that it was his turn to become the CEO but when it was put to him that his contribution to the fortunes of the business was way below that of his two business partners, he came up with the ingenious argument that what really mattered was that they had an ongoing business together and their individual contributions were immaterial. He also said that if Ayodele and Okechukwu continue to insist that he cannot be the CEO, he would disrupt the operations of the business, burn down the Head Office and kill Ayodele and Okechukwu's children. Ayodele and Okechukwu have now come to you for advice. What would your advice to them be?
(The names in the scenario above are entirely fictional and any resemblance to any persons living or dead, or any recent events particularly in the West African region is coincidental) you forgot to say that when they had a meeting earlier on, it was agreed amongst themselves that the CEO's position should be rotated equally. when Ayodele finished his turn, it was the turn for Musa (rip), he dead before finishing his turn, since Oke was his assistant it was agreed he should hold fort until they meet to decide how to move forward. then family of Musa said, since it is the turn of Musa let one of sibling continue his tenure since it was agreed that it is Musa turn, Oke now because he is the CEO said NO, we dont have any agreement. Musa people cry out that you were there when this decision was taking, Oke just ignored them go do your worst since Musa is no more and am the CEO i will do as i wish. meanwhile, Ayo being whom he is aligned with oke to cheat Musa's people. my advice to them is 'he who come for equity most come with clean hands" |
