Our engineer charged us N460k for a two bedroom bungalow, not the main building o. Labour alone is N100 000. The land is at Ajah side.

Is the amount on a high side please advice on way to go.

@ 40k, i will advice you to do 2 and 1 spare one, and for the other question cant say what the money is for from what you wrote.

borehole, which you will still use after the construction, cos, even you do a well now, you will still need the borehole when you move in, so why not NOW.

The problem with most Nigerians is their I don't call attitudes towards serious issues. Your actions during the just concluded elections shows that, YOU were not ready for any CHANGE yet.

@ dikyson, i will suggest you get the bank teller from them and pay yourself, out of the 50k u have budgeted, use 10k as pr then pay 40k.

for all those that are saying " i want money" definitely you all know that money will not fall from the sky, so what are you thinking of that will bring in the money? by the time you have your plans and work on it, i believe the money will come. also for those looking for jobs, why not think of creating one yourself?

i honestly believe the market in nigeria is very virgin waiting for bright ideas, anything you believe you are good at, then look for a way commercialising it.

Why I am asking, is because they serve me a paper to pay 200k before commencing work. Opinion needed.

with 1.5m it will go a long way in building the house you have in mind. what you need to do now is budget 1m for materials and the remaining .5 for labour and other expenses.

get estimate for the following items and buy the qtty estimated within the 1m budget, buy other on need basis.

sand
wood

go ahead and start, before you finish another 1.5m will come for finishing. be positive!

3. How much is okay to pay for a 3bedroom bungalow plan. ie A master bedroom and the other 2 rooms shares bathroom and toilet, the living room, A kitchen, store. note i have a rough sketch of what the plan is on paper.

@ 1, dont know. @ 2, its better to have your source of water, better still if you can do a borehole, which you can use when you finally move in. @ 3, it depends on your negotiation power and whom you are using, can be between 10k to 100k. @ 4, dont think so, maybe 1.5k

Having been an ordained Catholic priest, Idris Tawfiq spends his time now talking about the wonders of being a Muslim. Khadija Gulamhusein caught up with him on a visit to England.

When Idris Tawfiq walked into the emel offices on a cold Friday evening, I felt instantly at ease. He had a gentle manner about him and a soft-spoken disposition that did not mask his passion for religion and his work. We spoke in-depth about Islam, Christianity, and his interfaith work.
I asked him what it was that first attracted him to Islam. I had assumed that his response would refer to the theological or ethical aspects of the religion. Instead, he nostalgically relayed a life-changing encounter he experienced on a visit to Egypt.
“My introduction to Islam came from a little boy on the street in Cairo, cleaning shoes with small plastic flip-flops on his feet. He saw my white skin and greeted me with assalamu alaikum. For 40 years in Britain, I’d seen Muslims; I’d seen them in the streets, and I knew what the TV told me — that Muslims chop your hands off and they beat women, but that little boy started the whole journey off.” Tawfiq’s credits him with all that he has achieved.
“I told the audience at Manchester Metropolitan University about the boy. I told them that on Judgement Day he would get the shock of his life. His good deeds and bad deeds will be read out from a clear book, and when his good deeds are finished, he will think, ‘That’s all the good I’ve done in this life.’ But then the angels will read out the shahadas that have been declared because of him, the books that have been written on Islam because of him, the articles, the TV programmes, this interview itself—all because of him.”

you forgot to say that when they had a meeting earlier on, it was agreed amongst themselves that the CEO's position should be rotated equally. when Ayodele finished his turn, it was the turn for Musa (rip), he dead before finishing his turn, since Oke was his assistant it was agreed he should hold fort until they meet to decide how to move forward.

then family of Musa said, since it is the turn of Musa let one of sibling continue his tenure since it was agreed that it is Musa turn, Oke now because he is the CEO said NO, we dont have any agreement. Musa people cry out that you were there when this decision was taking, Oke just ignored them go do your worst since Musa is no more and am the CEO i will do as i wish. meanwhile, Ayo being whom he is aligned with oke to cheat Musa's people.

my advice to them is 'he who come for equity most come with clean hands"
