Oloye2019: A few weeks ago, precisely, on the 24 of August, Reno Omokri accused Blac Chyna's mum, Tokyo Toni of stealing his post.
He commented as follows: Dear @BLACCHYNA, Your mother #TokyoToni, stole my tweet word for word. She did not even attempt to hide her plagiarism. And she did not attribute my #RenosNuggets. If she is going to use the wisdom God gave me, she should at least credit me! @TMZ I tweeted this a year ago!
However, Reno Omokri has done the same thing with my line, #NotTooPoorToRun without attributing my post.
I created the post on 2nd September, 2018 in response to APC's high cost of tickets and closed the post with:
"It should have been NOT TOO POOR TO RUN! Because our poverty index is directly opposite of the cost of forms for political participation in Nigeria."
While Reno made an Instagram post reacting to the same form issues using my line without attribution.
It is an established fact that Reno Omokri is on Nairaland and as such, he has copied the post and only shortened it. Much as we are party members, I just want to tell him that "He who must go to equity, must do so with clean hands". You don't complain of being a prey to plagiarism and end up being a predator yourself.

teemy: I personally agree with the amnesty thing but with a twist.
Extra clauses: They mention the loopholes they got the funds stolen and those involved. They will no longer get influence in Nigeria's political space. Allowing them to keep part is like rewarding them for crime. The whole 100% should be refunded. They only avoid jail time.
A six (6) months period to do this. Any one that fails to would face the full brunt. The part of naming accomplices would have helped in widening the list and evidence of how the funds win. That way the nation wins.
On a side note, the slowness of our anti corruption agencies is really vexing. They need to up their game and not let political affiliations decide on who or who not to go after. Well now, they just need to pass it to the legislature and follow the six months blueprint that will bring the country back to overflowing wealth. Gbam! +6.3 |

Politics › Re: PLEASE Igbos, What Exactly Is The Sin Of PMB Against The Igbos. by hasyak(m): 6:53pm On Aug 28, 2018 |
Well thought of and provocative piece...
By Dr Uche Diala
SOUTH EAST: IS IT NOT TOO LATE?
I have read the recent transmissions by Senator Bukola Saraki directed at my Igbo tribe. I have deliberately kept mum on this as I had earlier resolved to speak less on Igbos as regards the 2019 Elections and 2023 Presidency having said quite a bit.
However seeing as some of my brethren have swallowed the cheap bait, I will chip this in just to keep the reality before us, at least for posterity sake. Truth is bitter but it's still the best medicine.
My people say; 'He who does not remember where the rain started beating him, will not remember where it stopped'.
REWIND TO 2014. A new National Party was being conceived. Political Parties, political players and Regions were being wooed to the new alliance.
'We' Igbos (read South East) vehemently refused to touch it even with a long pole. We packaged, sold to ourselves and bought the baseless propaganda that it was an Islamic alliance that would birth an "Islamic" and "Hausa" Party. Simply because those our brethren heavily invested in the PDP at the time were afraid of losing their vested selfish interests. Till today I'm still trying to fathom the basis for that wicked and twisted deceit especially as many of those Igbo elites who sold that dummy have since ported to the same APC.
We failed to even identify with that new Alliance. Hence the Party, APC was birthed without any remarkable input from us or presence. The few amongst us who aligned were called all kinds of names and abused to high heavens by us even when they were proven right afterall.
Thus the few Igbos who were part of it were at best fringe players as they didn't have the required clout to make serious demands and do the necessary political wheeling and dealing required in Politics to strike the hard bargains since politics is all about interests and numbers. They were even suspect, so much so that it was only their personal political sagacity that gave them whatever they got.
That Party went on to win the Presidential Election which in truth, most of us never believed it could or would, because of our half baked permutations and poor understanding of Nigerian politics. But it did.
Curiously we turned up at the fore front of telling this same Party how it should share it's 'spoils of war'. We became hypocritical moral champions with an over bloated sense of entitlement. Who does that, in all political reality and practicality? But we did, even while vehemently and vociferously still refusing to shift our position, style and rhethoric.
We dug in. Supported every bad thing and person against the Party, the elected President and the Administration while denying any and every good done to and for our Region.
Fast forward to where we are today. Almost four years after the 2015 misadventure, we have stayed put at 2015, refusing to move forward, refusing to shift grounds, refusing to play pragmatic politics, telling ourselves the same lies we cooked and bought in 2015 and some more.
Now barely 5 months to another election, we have started again saying "APC cannot give Presidency to Igbos in 2023". "Buhari cannot hand over to an Igbo man because Buhari hates Igbos". "APC is deceiving you", bla bla bla.
Of course. We will believe Saraki, who has only but a fanthom dream of becoming President and whose only known record is selfishness but we can't believe Buhari who's already President and who has a record of voluntarily picking two great Igbo sons as running mates in the past? Chukwu aju.
It is interesting and vital to note here that the PDP which many of us still proudly support and adore was in power for 16 solid years and in those years there were 4 Presidential Inaugurations and on none of those was an Igbo man found worthy by the PDP of even Vice Presidency and we are still bold to say it is the APC that has not even finished one tenure that doesn't want to give power to Igbos. Odi nma.
NOW; Seriously, let's be sincere. As things stand today politically, why would the APC even hand power to us Igbos in 2023? On what grounds? On what records? On what politics? Is power given to anyone? Is it an appeasement or a gift?
The APC is a political party. The main focus of a political Party is to hold power and keep it to enable it deliver on its agenda. So if the APC reads that the SE does not want the Presidency or does not have the capacity to help them win and keep power, they will stick with the regions that can and work with individuals who are interested.
Make no mistake, I have always said, I do not blame us Igbos for the decision majority of us took in 2015. It's our right. But continuing to pretend that it was other regions, Buhari or the APC that made us do what we did then or remain where we are today is purely self deceit and I refuse to play that ostrich game.
As far back as 2014, I and many others made that argument that Igbo Presidency was very feasible in 2023, ONLY under under the APC, ONLY IF we did a couple of things right politically. I personally continued to speak loudly on that even after the 2015 elections until when I realized that we were not ready to play the politics that was required and now I dare say it may be too late. Or is it not? Time will tell.
For now, we can continue to tell ourselves that we cannot hold the Presidency of Nigeria. I heard and read many of our brethren go from PDP to Biafra/seccesion (read IPOB) to Referendum to "Igbos do not need Presidency but Restructuring" etc forgetting that all that didn't lie squarely with us alone. We think other regions are not reading our body language?
I really don't care what Saraki writes or says because they've all come to realize that it's very easy to play us like a flute. So like Saraki, like Fani Kayode, like Fayose, like Atiku, even Jonah Jang of all people, they keep playing us.
I've learnt not to bother myself anymore to avoid unnecessary abuse from nonentities . As some of us have said, it's good governance we want, even if only one village will be producing the Presidents. So be it.
Ka Chineke mezie okwu.

Reflection:
The 5th Industrial Revolution is upon us! If Africa is not to miss out on this one, governments, teachers and parents need to do five things:
#1. Every teacher at every level, must be issued with a tablet computer, as a standard job tool . #2. Every child at school must have a tablet computer.
#3. Every school must have free wi-fi.
#4. Coding and STEM must be the main subjects stressed at schools.
#5. Entrepreneurship must be mandatory school subject for all high school and university graduates.
# If you are a parent you must equip your child with a computer tablet. This is non-negotiable. If you currently pay school fees, then ask why the teachers don’t have computers, and the schools don’t have wi-fi! |

Butterflyle0: Its definitely not a campaign strategy. Those people living there have had no access roads and now that the government has started one for them you call it campaign strategy? Which is better, refurbishing an already existing but bad road or beginning a new road altogether?
The difference between APC and PDP are two people. Buhari and Osinbajo. They are the only ones among the rest with no stain, great character and who mean well for the people. The rest are selfish, greedy and thieves. The recent defections clearly show you this.
You obviously do not understand Hausa. Buhari spoke in Hausa that day and his exact words were "kare jini, biri jini", which is a daily Hausa proverb which means "it’s going be a fight to the finish"
I speak and understand much of Hausa so I know. And if you don't believe me then go ahead and ask an Hausa man for its interpretation rather than believing anything you are told. That nonsense rumour began with Reuban Abatti who chose to mislead people like you with lies.
Why not go and ask his lender or his banker rather than cooking up stories in your head.
Not what WAS it used for. It should be what is it being used for. Obviously you can see a government who has been working with less yet achieving more. At least you can hear of recovered loot unlike the past government with their stealing is not corruption mantra.
Are they not doing their jobs? Last time I checked they are all performing excellently
Ministerial appointments and FG appointees show he is loyal to Nigeria. His own people in Katrina are complaining of neglect from him and a few book haram incidents are still on in the north if he was loyal to the north don't you think all his focus would be there and not here especially with this project being done in Niger delta.
Being a president comes with several packages one of which is the state bearing the cost of medical care. Do you think Trump or any other president in the world pays for their medical treatment from their own pockets? Why then is there a budget for medicals ?
Yes it is welcome under the rule of law and his removal of it was justified when the united states financne department confirmed receipt of the exact sum he removed. Which shows he did not steal it nor syphon it the way it was in the past administration. The money was meant for weapons purchase and that is exactly what it was used for.
Every department has a job to do. Those to vet appointees should do their job. Even Trump recently confessed to not knowing what goes on in the white house. No president is immune to this especially when running a large cabinet.
If you can afford to buy the best for yourself why should you complain when the president buys the best for his office. Should his office look shabby and poor and thus represent Nigeria badly with an image of poverty?
Are you his doctor or do you have access to his medical records?
As far as I know, he is healthy. Everyone falls I'll once in a while and so far he has been doing what 40 year olds may not be able to do especially with his busy schedule. Have you seen him collapse at an event or rushed off in an.ambulance?
I am wise and I think you should be like me and you know why?
Its because I trust that God gives us leaders who would push his will and bring it to his people and I believe God appointed Buhari for such a time as this. If not for him, Nigeria would probably have gone the way of another oil producer named Venezuela who right now have an inflation rate of 1million percent as their cash has become worthless despite having massive oil reserves and being an oil producer and their economy has suffered collapse. +7.6 |

Good day follow Nigerians,
I have decided to write you this open personal letter due to recent developments in the country and deeper reflection on my part.
Let me start by thanking all those that believe in and support my ambition to make the country a better place, without to you I don't think I would have been here, I have almost given up, but you rekindled that hope again, thank you once more for your believe in me.
Fellow Nigerians am not your typical Nigerian politician and I don't play that play that you have to corrupt the system for it to work. Inasmuch I would like to play in the political arena I don't believe in corrupting the system for it to work. When I said am ready to work with anyone, I thought I was on same platform with all for the interest of the country, I didn't know some interests are more personal and myopic.
I would have like to explain reasons for most of my action or inaction, they are always for the best interest of the country. Am not perfect so I might be wrong with hind sight, but the intentions are always genuine.
Dear Nigerians, I have decided to focus my attention to these 4 areas of priority for reforms as quickly as possible.
1. Education 2. Security/corruption 3. Agriculture revolution/infrastructural development. 4. Health care 5. Review of last conference report and implementation of reports.
1.Education
I believe it's time to totally review our education system to suit our particularities as a nation, in the areas of basic educational impactment and areas of needs. A Nigerian child should at least have a good primary education. In this regard, a compulsory basic primary education will now be compulsory.
We will set up committee/consultants to review all reports on educational reforms and come up with an action plans of implementation.
2. Security/corruption
Police/Military and other security services
We will have to reorientate/rehabitation our forces and enhance their welfare.
These will be achieved through Trainings and motivations Rehabilitation / construction of barracks and offices. Equipment with latest garjets to enhance their productivity.
Corruption.
This is one area I under rated, never knew how institutionalised it was, so moving forward, these new development we have come up with
1. We are giving a window of 6 months for all that have corruption cases against them to come clear, we will do a plea bargain to avoid legal cost/time and to give room for those whom genuinely want to repent to come clean. After this grace period if any undeclared assets are traced to any persons, then they will lose everything.
2. The Judiciary will be supported and protected. Their welfare will also be enhance.
3. The public sector will be made very open for business. Processes will made easier, that you will not need to have much physical contact for request to be attended to and accounting will be made very open.
Agriculture revolution/infrastructural development.
Agriculture Revolution
We will support the full value chain in this sector. From planting, harvesting, processing, packaging, storage and marketing. Also reforms will be implemented for ease of doing business.
Infrastructural Development.
Power, Rail network and Road
We will sustain our working plans and review it for latest development in the sector.
All schools, military/police formations, hospitals and other govt agencies that are of public interest will all be upgraded to international level.
Airports and Seaports Reform will be made for ease of passage, security and structural uplifting to compare to the best in the world.
Health care.
Health care is one area we are going to seriously work on, with the hopes that no Nigerian will have to travel out for medical reasons again. From my personal experience, I don't wish anybody to go through what I went through. The least a Nigerian parent should bother about is health care of his kids, free or subsidized health care for Nigerians. Free for those below the age of 6 and those above the age of 65 and subsidized for those between the age 18and 65.
Specialised hospital will develop to charter for major health challenges, equip with the best equipment and manned by Nigerians or an expert if no Nigerian is capable.
Review of last 2 conference report and implementation of reports.
With reference to latest development and talks, we have decided that instead of constituting another conference, we will review the last 2 conferences and come up with a paper for discussion which may lead to the new structure for the country. This will give room to all to come out and discuss how we will continue to exist as a country.
I need to come out now to tell my fellow countrymen and women my vision and thoughts from an insider now, so that we can all be on the same page.
You are all living withness to from, where and how we started. From an outsider then, we never knew how bad the situation was. So many promises were made put difficult to achieve.
Finally, my political ambition; inasmuch as I will want to render myself to serve the country, I can't do it alone. I will need the support of all Nigerians to support me in these endeavors.
In view of this, I will not be going out to campaign, I will concentrate to institutionalised these reforms I highlighted above. If Nigerians decided to give me more time to implement them, I will be grateful for the support and I promise to give it my best to implement. But if Nigerians decide to chose someone else, please be sure to chose someone better than me. I know am not the best our there, but for the once that have shown interest so far, I know am better than them all when it comes to Integrity.
For my supporters, you are free to campaign for me and if you invite me I will come. I decided to cancel my campaign to have more time to implement my dreams now and the campaigning will be a major distractions. Time is of the essence, am willing to abandon my campaign to save to time and work for you.
Fellow Nigerians it's your choice to make, the power is in your hands, I don't know what I will tell you that's have not been said before, just judge me from your personal perspective, don't allow others do the thinking for you.
Thank you and God bless Nigeria.

mhd5757: I think you are too hard on yourself, try to forgive yourself, after all you are only human, these kind of things happen so stop stressing yourself, relax, live your life, what has happened has already happened and there is nothing you can do to change the past. You apologised to her right? But she refused to forgive you, God knows you have done your part and he has already forgiven you. So if she does not want to forgive you and she does not want to forget which is not making her feel good then so be it, just keep your distance from her and let her be. Remember! You have already done your part, the rest is up to her and you are only human. +6.5 |

fluxbush: This your case is very strong. If all you say is true, then you have really tried your best. Don't come and kill yourself for another person. You aren't new to house chores and staying celibate for long periods of time,so you won't miss her much when you tell her to leave. Tell your wife to leave and get help. It isn't only when a person strips naked that we say he he or she has a mental problem. Such environment is even unhealthy for your kids to grow up in. Insist that she must get help, whether spiritual or psychological. We don't want to wake up one day and read the news that a wife killed her entire family. It's better to be happy alone than miserable for an entire lifetime. If she really wants the marriage to work, she will carry her legs, seek help and come back to you.
Again, as I always say, divorce isn't as bad as people paint it. If all has been exhausted, divorce her ass biko. +8.6 |

DIYhackers: I concluded base on the kind of team they're playing against. Scoring a hat trick is enough but scoring it against a team like Spain is spectacular. Messi can score as many as he wants, but against who is the question. OK wait after the wc please before you draw your conclusion |
