Sagamite,

I have to agree with you, particularly in regard to underage voting the evidence is incontestable and well documented by both international and local election observers as well as the whole media.

It really puts to question this whole issue of population censes i.e. more people in Kano than Lagos. consider 5 million registered voters in Kano only 2.5 million voted the rest went missing why? I guess kidnapped by GEJ
lagos over 5mil and about 2mil voted, so whats your point?

i believe God gave us an opportunity for a real change which we have lost. My hope and the hopes of all those that joined this thread in championing the cause for change has undoubtedly not gone in vain. We have done our part, we have prayed relentlessly, campaign, contribute out little quota for the cause and I believe God has listened and answered our prayers. We as humans might see this as a loss but I believe it is a victory for us in one way or the other.

It's only a matter of time my friends, the journey for change has just begun, bad leaders will have nowhere to hide, we will be watching them closely.

Our BB team will never be forgotten in the history of this great nation, we gave them a run for their money, even though they claim is on sentiments, most here join for their believe without any compulsion or for any personal gain, but for the gain of the country. am honoured to be part of you.

Buhari is a leader that can't be equalled by any bunch of politicians, he is a phenomena. His name epitomises honesty/integrity  and that is his greatest legacy anyone can leave behind.

while we keep faith for the best from the gej/pdp govt., let us keep the group on for a greater country.

Stick to the topic. There are other threads celebrating GEJs win. Again, a people deserve the leaders they elect. But the people who voted BB definitely do not deserve GEJ.

Team BB. Chin up. We came together regardless of our differences. Yes, I am sad at the way things turned out because I really hoped and prayed for a better Nigeria.

Jobless graduates! No university admission after high school! lack of basic infrastructures! It may have taken 1-2 yrs to see changes with BB, but as it is now, Hmmmnnnnn,

I wait and watch.

I supported BB for the election, but what I saw on saturday in rivers state shocked me. GEJ has a following that is almost cultlike. I hope he serves us well, as it stands he is still my president and I will as a patrotic Nigerian support him in my own little way. Congrats Goodluck.

Princek12:
Nigerian politics has been historically corrupt. The main ideological difference is that you see corruption through the party lens, while majority see it through the northern mafia lens, and they are justified in doing so. Buhari is a northern candidate who is campaigning under the CPC flag for political reasons. Buhari owes allegiance, first, to the north, and second, to Nigerians.  CPC is pretty much an off shoot of PDP, and they are all corrupt.

We see Jonathan as a different person from his PDP party-mates, and that was why they protested against his decision to contest for president. They knew he would change. Had Yaradua not died, do you think Goodluck would have been made the PDP candidate? Hell nah!
God had a hand in this.

And I am sure Jonathan will privatize PHCN and deregulate the power sector, which Northerners do not want, because they fear that stable electricity will catapult the economies of the southern states, since we are not restrained by Sharia law.

Also if they were comfortable under PDP, why did they oppose his reelection campaign and field their own northern consensus candidate by way of Atiku, who ended up losing to GEJ?

And why did the northerners subsequently endorse Buhari ahead of Goodluck. Don't think you can fool Nigerians anymore. This is not business as usual.

God knows what i am doing is for the generality of the betterment of Nigeria unlike you who's doing this based on personal interest and on tribal and superstitious sentiments. I am from the SS but i rather go with someone who can actually get the job done than a figurehead for the stature quo.

If he wins (GEJ), fine, i will sit and watch how he drives Nigeria, i know i cant be worse off than how i am because i have never relied on govt for anything (PDP govt), I HAVE 2 GENERATOR to cater for lack of light and a DSTV to cater for poor and bias local channels whose hearts has been eaten down by greed and self centeredness.

All in all, my fate as Nigerians is in the hand of the majority.

CPC represent islam & PDP represent Christainity.

who have read in its BIBLE that the EGYPTIAN defeated tte ISREALIES, i believe that GOD has delivered the EGYPTIAIN( CPC ) into the hands of the ISRELIES (PDP).
God bless GOODLUCK EBELE AZIKWE JONATHAN for the massive VICTORY.

Fearing
that Buhari (a Yoruba hater) will
Islamize Nigeria if he wins, the
South West voted enmasse for
Jonathan. The Yorubas are
showing their political
sophistication at this election.
And with the overwelming
victory of Jonathan in South
South and South East and his
expected good performance in
Kwara, Benue, Plateau, Kogi,
Adamawa, Bornu (Kanuris will
not vote for Fulani, their ancient
enemy), Taraba, Nassarawa,
Gombe (Danjuma Goje's factor)
and Kaduna (Christian bloc vote),
the victory of Jonathan is
Certain.
read yourself, sound bigoted, is it all about tribe/religion?

@ franktolk. God bless you for the Golden Chains analogy.
People are complaining that because of PDP, NIGERIANS are SUFFERING because they have NO NEPA, NO ROADS, NO JOBS, NO EMPLOYMENT for YOUTHS. The same Nigerians are still voting for the people who have brought untold suffering and hardship to the country. Nigerians na wa oh!!!!. I agree with you.
The funny thing is that the Nigerians who voted for ACN last week in the NASS elections have abandoned their people and are now voting for PDP.
SLAVES!!!

No mater what GEJ does for Norti, they will never accept him as their own.As long as he doesnt speak Sanu Sanu and doesnt face the east while praying,he will remain a Yamiri to them. They will readily back a theif from the North than an honest and human man from the south. To them each election is not about political parties or persons, its about tribe and religion. So tribalistic.

Which way Nigeria!, I wish you Goodluck
i just dont understand you people always complaining the north is that tribalistic, ok, look at the results from the nass elections, which region voted base on the candidate? the s west always vote block for their party but nobody insults them, they are praised  for that. ss look at the voting pattern 100% gej but nobody calls them infidels here, but if the north decides to vote their own for any reason then they are call tribalistic, i remember abiola beating tofa in kano his state.

everybody is free to chose any candidate for one reason or the other please learn to respect people view, you dont have monopoly of knowledge, if you think your candidate is the best, some of us thinks he is not good enough!

PoliticsRe: I'm Predicting Buhari Will Win On Saturday! by hasyak(m): 10:04pm On Apr 15, 2011
I will not because of the calculation/assumption of a few/majority elite based on facts, deny my conscience of voting for the right candidate.

I refuse to let the perception of the electorate (majority) based on past elections & parties style (rigging) derail me of my choice of credible candidate.

I turn my back on that feeling of "hopelessness" experienced by majority; that no matter what they do, their vote can never amount to bringing about change.

I refuse to change my mind based on political analysis and their structures towards winning the Presidential election. Still will i vote wisely even if the most competent candidate has no political structure.

No amount of preaching/brain-washing can make me accept a party that has taken us back for 12yrs even if my father were to be the candidate of such party. Knowing fully well that a Destructive means can never bring about a Constructive end.

Yes, all might not be well but a well conscience has the might to reject the status quo & embrace change.

Believing otherwise when something is right means you are part of the problem, no matter how you try to justify it.

The fact that we cannot all agree on a common goal either as youths or as a nation does not give the room for us to deny the truth.

I make bold to say i shall be voting Buhari/Bakare, keep your thoughts, advice or history 'cos it makes no difference for me.

My conscience certifies them. I have no fear if they win or not, at least my conscience will judge me right.

Even if I have boil on my thumb, i'll use my tongue.

Nigeria lets vote without sentiments.
