Even the coaches know that Ronaldo is the best footballer for this generation.

When you singlehandedly carry your country to a draw in a competitive match like that of yesterday, proving yourself over and over again in club and country football, you're just more than talent, you're skilled.

There's no further argument about this...... RONALDO IS BETTER THAN MESSI.

Please before you conclude, wait for Argentina match, Messi need that benefit of doubt

It beats my thoughts when guys start hating women for whom they are, don't you guys have mothers? Sisters? female Relation that are nice?

Guys you just need to appreciate them the way God created them. When you say they are that, are you better?

We are all product of our environment, just like the case of leadership, even if we change the leadership of this country 200%, the level of change will be minimal, why? Because we are a product of a environment.

Infact guy are the issue, we tend to think for ladies and expecting them to reason alike, and its not so so.

Check and find out where your problem lays, certainly not with the ladies..

FamilyRe: Could This Marital Predicament Worth Disolving My Marriage? by hasyak(m): 6:29pm On May 16, 2018
eyinjuege:
Mr Babztemmy aka mouthcuffed, your wife was here earlier.

You guys should try and resolve your marital issues offline. Let peace reign. Call a truce. Tell her what you want, and also try and compromise on what she needs. She wants you to be more affectionate towards her, do that. She wants to be able to put her hands in your pocket without you getting angry, she wants you to be her gisting partner, and to tell her things you are going to do like buying a car for your mother without even hinting her isn't such a good idea. She wants you to be less rigid.

At the same time, let her know you can be all these and more if she could only place your mother on the same pedestal you hold her, let her know you can be there for her emotionally if only she takes your mother as hers, and cares for her as she would her father.
Let her know you don't like to be called 'ode' but honey, sweetheart, love of my life.
Let her know you want to be woken up every morning with a good morning darling.

Its a give and take situation.
You need to LISTEN to her concerns and not just be dismissive. They may not make sense to you, or may sound stupid, or even not real, but to her they seem legitimate enough.
Call a truce in your home, not by arguing but discussing calmly like adults telling each other your expectations, and the disappointments you've both faced with each other.
Stop saying hurtful words that she wasn't your choice of a partner if not that you wanted to do right by your children (when you guys argue).
Words are like eggs, once spoken or broken they can't be taken back or put back together. They will forever ring the the ears of your wife.
I'm not trying to remove your wife from all this, because I know she's equally a troublemaker looking for trouble where there's none. She needs to take a deep breath, and be more accommodating towards her MIL. Life isn't so difficult unless we make it so.

People are different and no, I'm not going to convince you to change your mind or not. It's your choice. However, just as you have this choice so do other people. It is wrong to think that people who are doing the opposite of what you think is right are wrong.

The good thing about you is that you know yourself and you have accepted it, unfortunately some people bow to pressure and have kids when they clearly should not. What I think you should be advocating is informed decisions on having children and not just popping kids people can't afford.

Lastly, having kids or not will not heavily affect your chances of being more successful. There are poor childless people and rich people with children and vice versa. Live and let live.

PoliticsRe: So, Why Is Nobody Talking About The New Global Petroleum Price? by hasyak(m): 7:21am On May 09, 2018
Throwback:
This history is too recent to lie so brazenly.

GEJ sold petrol for 4yrs when the price was $100+pb.
It was in his 5th year from mid 2014 till May 2015 that it began to drop towards $50pb, at which point the federal government of Jonathan was already borrowing to pay federal civil servants salaries, having already ran down the federal savings he inherited and reduced foreign reserves from $47b to $29b/$30b within the same period of such high earnings.

At the time Buhari assumed power and crude oil price continued its downward fall till it reached $27pb, wailers like you were asking for Nigeria to be turned to Dubai and Florida, outrageous expectations you never had while crude was selling for $100+pb without any savings made of it, and 2nd hand trains as the only tangible economic investment to boast of by the Jonathan sycophants.

It was at that same time that your type were rejoicing that the Niger Delta Avengers were sabotaging the economy by vandalizing pipelines to your delight that the economy will be crippled, just because a useless president was sacked by the same electorate that gave him a nationally spread victory 4 years earlier.

Now that crude has entered the $70+pb range, you are also asking why Nigeria is not yet a Paradise, because a Paradise on Earth only requires 3days to build?

Now with your high expectations and standards, you will understand why many of us concluded that the Jonathan regime was a colossal failure that could not show anything tangible for the 4yrs of stupendous oil wealth, except brandishing almajiri schools, new universities and 2nd hand train, at a time we claimed to be the biggest economy in Africa, yet we could only afford 2nd hand trains because we are not America (as opined by Jonathan presidential spokesman Doyin Okupe).

You will now understand why it is a disgrace that less than 8 months into the fall of oil prices from the top price of $100+pb, the finance minister and coordinating minister of the economy, had become so helpless and hopeless that the government had started to borrow funds totalling N470b to pay federal salaries for Feb/March/April 2015. This is the same finance minister who was shouting from the wilderness that no savings was being made by the government she was the economic coordinator and we should soon expect an economic nosedive. If she could not take responsibility to ensure savings was made, whose failure was it and who then is responsible that the economy did eventually nosedive when oil income dropped drastically?

The government of Jonathan while earning so much from crude oil, refused to pay its own counterpart funding for JV oil projects with its IOC partners, such that when the oil crisis had began, such funding being owed by the government had totalled apprx $5b for 2010 to 2015.

But you want an overnight developmental paradise now that oil is only beginning to rise above $70pb?

Yet you are ready to make excuses for the failures of the previous government that was in office for 5years with 4years of immense oil income?

Can you people not just stop being pathetic ? Is the USA now back to buying Nigeria’s crude ?
Is Nigeria selling every liter of crude it as to offer now ?

Why do some of you chose to deliberately argue foolishly like your brain is not functional simply because you want to shield one failure n castigate another ?

Do you think your ranting to high heaven will change peoples opinion. When the die is cast anyone with a brain can tell beside the Fulani herdsmen killing Buhari has done creditable beta than any PDP president.

If PDP can rule for 16 years and Nigeria total budget during those year never went up to 4 trillion while crude oil sold for above $100 n Buhari a dullard within 3 years with crude selling for $27 can propose a budget of 8 trillion naira. What makes you think Buhari will not propose a budget of 10 trillion next year now that crude is selling for $75 ?

God is my witness it will never be well with anyone that say Nigeria should vote back PDP for whatever reason. This mean aside the brazen corruption by PDP it deliberately under accounted our income so it can loot Nigeria resources off the book.

It can never be well with PDP for looting half of our common wealth without even bothering to account for it.

PoliticsRe: Real Reasons Odigie Oyegun Withdrew From APC Chairmanship - Daily Trust by hasyak(m): 6:28pm On May 01, 2018
WisdomFlakes:
Buhari had never really been comfortable with Oyegun as APC chairman from the very start because of his role in forcing him out of ANPP to CPC back then when Oyegun gave Shekarau ANPP ticket instead of him. But he tolerated him because of Tinubu (who saw to his emergence as chairman), though he never forgot about that past episode. Oyegun knew this and in his overzealousness to win Buhari's confidence he started making some moves based on his interpretation of Buhari's so-called 'body language' and information from cabals within the presidency. He started making moves against Tinubu's interests in the party like supporting the rigging of the Ondo governorship primaries that schemed out his preferred candidate, and he also supported the emergence of Yahaya Bello against the Audu/Faleke alliance Tinubu had worked hard to build. Therefore, it was either Oyegun steps down as chairman or Tinubu himself would have to be forced out since the chairman would always thwart his interests. Meanwhile, Buhari smartly acted as if he was indifferent to these happenings. At the same time, Buhari has always liked Oshiomhole and severally hinted that he would like to work more closely with him so Oshiomhole became a common interest and opportunity for both Buhari and Tinubu to find common ground once again, plus Buhari feels Tinubu has more political weight and value than Oyegun for his reelection bid. It is all politics.

Let's assume that you don't know, let me attempt to educate you.

1. The most peaceful countries in the world, despite not being in wars, continue to build their military arsenal to tackle any security threats.

2. If we had all the weapons we should have, perhaps BH and other security challenges would have been nipped in the bud before they became big.

3. Security weapons, especially fighter jets can't be bought the way you buy tomatoes and fish from the market. They take years to be built and supplied to the the buyers.

4. All the above are reasons some of the world powers are what they are. They don't wait for problems before they start looking for weapons.

Go school to acquire quality education, you say "no".

* Denying God is not the problem, denying "other Gods" is his problem, denying what has no strong evidence to backup his existence is not my problem!

# Is it that Allah appear to him in Egypt or in London mosque that he abadon his former God or he just assume this must be the right one, whatever it's what makes this God and religion the right one?
There is only one God, the ways, means and names people chose to seek or call Him might defer. For those whom are spiritual aware that there is something more to the physical, look for the best way they believe they can seek Him based on their understanding. And that's what his decision is all about.

The Priest who Converted to Islam Tells His Reason

Teaching about Islam taught me many things.
By Idris Tawfiq Tue 10 January 2017 | 17:07
I enjoyed being a priest helping the people for some years.

However, deep inside I was not happy and I felt that there was something not right. Fortunately, and it is God’s will, some events and coincidences in my life led me to Islam.

I used to think of Egypt as a country of Pyramids, camels, sand and palm trees. I actually took a charter flight to Hurghada.

Shocked to find it similar to some European beaches, I took the first bus to Cairo where I spent the most wonderful week in my life.

This was my first introduction to Muslims and Islam. I noticed how Egyptians are such gentle, sweet people, but also very strong.

Like all Britons, my knowledge about Muslims up to that time didn’t exceed what I heard from the TV about suicide bombers and fighters, which gave the impression that Islam is a religion of troubles. However, getting into Cairo I discovered how beautiful this religion is.

Very simple people selling goods on the street would abandon their trade and direct their face to Allah and pray the moment they heard the call to prayer from the mosque. They have a strong faith in the presence and will of Allah. They pray, fast, help the needy and dream to have a trip to Makkah with the hope of living in heaven in the hereafter.

On my return I resumed my old job of teaching religion. The only compulsory subject in British education is Religious Studies. I was teaching about Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism and others. So everyday I had to read about these religions to be able to teach my lessons to the students, many of whom were Arab Muslim refugees. In other words, teaching about Islam taught me many things.

Unlike many troublesome teenagers, these students set a good example of what a Muslim could be. They were polite and kind. So a friendship developed between us and they asked if they could use my classroom for prayers during the fasting month of Ramadan.

Luckily, my room was the only one with a carpet. So I got accustomed to sitting at the back, watching them praying for a month. I sought to encourage them by fasting during Ramadan with them, even though I wasn’t yet a Muslim.

Once while reciting a translation of the holy Quran in class I reached the verse:

{And when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have recognized of the truth.} (Quran 5:83)

To my surprise, I felt tears welling up in my eyes and I tried hard to hide it from the students.

The following day, I was taking the underground and noticed how terrified the people were. I was also afraid of the repetition of such acts in Britain. At the time, the Western people started fearing this religion they blamed for terrorism.

However, my previous experience with Muslims took me to a different direction. I started wondering ‘Why Islam? Why do we blame Islam as a religion for the action of terrorists who happened to be Muslims, when no-one accused Christianity of terrorism when some Christians have acted the same way?

One day I headed to the biggest Mosque in London, to hear more about this religion. Getting into London Central Mosque, there was Yusuf Islam, the former pop singer, sitting in a circle talking to some people about Islam. After a while, I found myself asking him” ‘What do you actually do to become a Muslim?’

He answered that a Muslim should believe in one God, pray five times a day and fast during Ramadan. I interrupted him saying that I believed all this and had even fasted during Ramadan. So he asked:

‘What are you waiting for? What is holding you back?’ I said:

‘No, I don’t intend to convert.’

At that moment the call to prayer was made and everyone got ready and stood in lines to pray.

I sat at the back, and I cried and cried. Then I said to myself:

‘Who am I trying to fool?’

After they ended their prayers, I headed to Yusuf Islam, asking him to teach me the words by which I announce my conversion.

After explaining its meanings to me in English, I recited after him in Arabic that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, I couldn’t hold back my tears.

‘Gardens of Islam’

I decided to write this book “Gardens of Delight: a Simple Introduction to Islam” to give non-Muslims an idea about the basic principles of Islam. I tried to tell people how beautiful Islam is and that Islam has the most extraordinary treasures, the most important being Muslims’ love for each other.

The Prophet says:

‘Even a smile to your brother is a charity.’

May Allah have mercy on brother Idris Tawfiq.
