The Clown:
Make your deductions my friend, some people's Christian virtues require them to deny facts and to disbelieve obvious truths. You have a choice, use your head and be sincere about it, you will get the truth.

First pope has nothing to do with your xtain life anyway.
did i say it has anything do to with my life? if my head cant understand is it wrong to ask! i just want to know cos its confusing. if you know pls just let me know

chukwudi44:
Cyprian of Carthage in 251 C.E.:
"And although to all the apostles, after His resurrection, He gives an equal power, and says, “As the Father hath sent me, , , they shall be retained;” (John 20:21-22) yet, He founded a single Chair. That He might set forth unity, He established by His authority the origin of that unity, as having its origin in one man alone. No doubt the others were all that Peter was, but a primacy is given to Peter, and it is thus made clear that there is but one Church and one Chair. So too, even if they are all shepherds, we are shown but one flock which is to be fed by all the apostles in common accord. If a man does not hold fast to this oneness of Peter, does he imagine that he still holds the faith? If he deserts the Chair of Peter upon whom the Church was built, has he confidence that he is in the Church?" (The Unity of the Catholic Church 4) http://www.romancatholicism.org/jansenis

Eusebius of Caesarea in 312 C.E.:
"As to the rest of his followers, Paul testifies that Crescens was sent to Gaul; but Linus, whom he mentions in the Second Epistle to Timothyas his companion at Rome, was Peter’s successor in the episcopate of the church there, as has already been shown. Clement also, who was appointed third bishop of the church at Rome, was, as Paul testifies, his co-laborer and fellow-soldier." (Church History 3:4:9–10). http://www.ccel.org/ccel/schaff/npnf201.

Irenaeus in 189 C.E.:
"The very ancient, and universally known Church founded and organized at Rome by the two most glorious apostles, Peter and Paul; , The blessed apostles, then, having founded and built up the Church, committed into the hands of Linus the office of the episcopate." (Against Heresies 3:3:2-3) http://www.ccel.org/ccel/schaff/anf01.ix

IslamRe: Do Muslims Speak In Tongues? by hasyak(m): 2:54pm On Oct 27, 2010
You do not have to hunt for examples of these different types of evidences in the Bible. The following quotations will make the position crystal clear:

The FIRST Type:

(a) I will raise them up a prophet . . . and I will put my words in , and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." (Deuteronomy 18:18)

(b) I even, I am the Lord, and beside me there is no saviour." (Isaiah 43:11)

(c) "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the end of the earth: for I am God, and there is non else." (Isaiah 45:22)

Note the first person pronoun singular (highlighted in green) in the above references, and without any difficulty you will agree that the statements seem to have the sound of being GOD'S WORD.

The SECOND Type:

(a) "Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying Eli, Eli, lama sabachtani? . . ." (Matthew 27:46)

(b) "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord:" (Mark 12:29)

(c) "And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God." (Mark 10:18).

Even a child will be able to affirm that: Jesus "cried" Jesus "answered" and Jesus "said" are the words of the one to whom they are attributed, i.e. the WORDS OF A PROPHET OF GOD.

The THIRD Type:

"And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he, (JESUS) came, if haply he (JESUS) might find anything thereon: and when he (JESUS) came to it, (Jesus) found nothing but leaves . . ." (Mark 11:13)

The bulk of the Bible is a witnessing of this THIRD kind. These are the words of a third person. They are not the Words of God or of His prophet, but the WORDS OF A HISTORIAN.
IslamRe: Do Muslims Speak In Tongues? by hasyak(m): 2:44pm On Oct 27, 2010
When the Muslim proves his point from the Christian's own Holy Scripture, and when the professional priest, parson or DAVIDYLAN cannot refute the arguments — the inevitable Christian evasion is — "DO YOU ACCEPT THE BIBLE AS GOD'S WORD? On the face of it, the question seems to be an easy one, but a simple "Yes" or "No" cannot be given as an answer. You see, one has first to explain one's position. But the Christian will not give one the opportunity. He gets impatient. "Answer — 'Yes or No!' " he insists. The Jews did the same to Jesus two thousand years ago, except that surprisingly he was not strait-jacketed, as is the fashion today!

You will readily agree that things are not always either BLACK or WHITE. Between these two extremes there are various shades of GREY. If you say "Yes" to his question, then it would mean that you are prepared to swallow everything HOOK, LINE and SINKER, from Genesis to Revelation from his Bible. If you respond with a "No" he quickly unhooks himself from the facts you have presented, and rallies support from his co-religionists in the audience with; "You see, this man does not believe in the Bible! What right has he to expound his case from our Book?" With this hydra-like somersault he rests content that he has safely evaded the issue.

we muslim believe in the "Bible" but not the one that is use today, cos the one use today has been polluted with words of other people.

THREE GRADES OF EVIDENCE

We Muslims have no hesitation in acknowledging that in the Bible, there are three different kinds of witnessing recognizable without any need of specialized training. These are:

1. You will be able to recognize in the Bible what may be described as "The Word of God."

2. You will also be able to discern what can be described as the "Words of a Prophet of God."

3. And you will most readily observe that the bulk of the Bible is the records of eye witnessess or ear witnesses, or people writing from hearsay. As such they are the "Words of a Historian"

it really depends on what you want, personally i will advise that since u r already on your own and doing sometin, i believe you should develop your biz maybe go into other biz. abt moving to another location, it also depends on what you r going there for. i will not advise you move and start all over again, you can start by visiting and doing some research on the biz on your area of interest. from that u can make up your mind. basically life is all about risk taking but be guided.

^^^is there anything different between how men and women should act when they are in love?!
what you expect for yourself should be the same expected from your partner.oh so i thought!

but if you think that there are 2 different law in love (one for men and another for women) then let us know.
of course, we do not share the same X drive, u can see that even from lower animal, where u see the males always going after the female its nature and u cant help it. let me conclude on this with some quotes from Napoleon hill on X drive on men.

"X desire is the most powerful of human desires, when driven by this desire, men develop keenness of imagination, courage, will-power, persistence and creative ability unknown to them at other times, so strong and impelling is the desire for X contact that men freely run the risk of life and reputation to indulge it"

am not saying it is wrong or right, she asked a question and i gave a response based on the question asked

first: i used the word flirt cos i want to be decent

second: my assumption is that most marriage is out of love, at least 70%

last; if it is just look and admire, and it ends there no problems, but most times it goes beyond that

FYI am not saying it goes with all men, but with most.

^^^^^i think you misunderstood her question.

@poster
if you were TRULY in love with someone and happy in your relationship then you wouldnt do anything on purpose that you know would hurt them in anyway or jeopardize this loving relationship.
the fact that you wouldnt care about their feelings in order to satisfy some se*xual urge means that the so called LOVE that you are talking about is just some cheap infatuation at best.

remember, just because what you feel is the strongest you have ever felt about someone doesnt automatically means its LOVE.
what is LOVE? most married man that flirt, are in love with their spouses, its just that animal instincts in man that makes him flirt nothing to do with weather he is in love or not.

SportsSuper Eagles Sneak Into Nigeria by hasyak(op): 4:36pm On Jun 25, 2010
The Super Eagles sneaked into the country last night from South Africa amid tight security at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

Only 10 players namely, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Osaze Odemwigie, Rabiu Afolabi, Haruna Lukman, Dickson Etuhu, Kalu Uche, Austin Ejide, Yusuf Ayila, Obafemi Martins, Danny Shittu and Brown Ideye were on board the South African Airways that touched down at 9pm.

They were immediately moved to the VIP lounge by the security details along with members of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the technical crew. Eagles’ Chief Coach Lars Lagerback did not make the trip. He returned to his country, Sweden.

Security men had a herculean task controlling the crowd who turned out to vent their anger on the players for the disastrous outing at the tournament.

For close to an hour, they refused to come out from the VIP lounge of the arrival hall until they were assured of their safety.

They finally came out at 10pm, wearing long faces. Fans booed Everton FC of England attacker, Yakubu Aiyegbeni. The bulky forward missed a good scoring chance against South Korea in a final group game. The flop has been described as the worst World Cup miss.

Meanwhile, Osaze Odemwingie was hailed by the fans despite not having enough playing time. Others escaped the wrath of the fans.

Most of them declined to speak.

NFF Secretary General, Bolaji Ojo-Oba also refused to comment, same with the coaches.

Nigeria finished fourth in group B playing three matches, losing two and drawing the last to finish its campaign without a point.

Since the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea/Japan till date, Nigeria is yet to win a World Cup match.
