So my son just got denied admission into Seneca college. Please can anyone suggest any university in Toronto, We've aplled to York university already, but in order not to put all our eggs in one basket again we're looking for other universities option in Toronto. Or is it possible for the school to still admit him, considering the fact that he chosed three choices?. And also I mistakenly submitted his application to Humber college without payment, I'm trying to rectify my mistake but it keeps telling me I have submitted an application for this year's session. |

@bullstriker, in what situation is a deed of gift suitable bullstriker: If your sponsor is a close relative like parents or siblings, you don’t necessarily need a gift deed. Affidavit of sponsorship or sponsorship letter in addition to a bank statement or MBS is acceptable.
There is no timeline for it. However, because visa officers are not a fan of lump-sum deposits, most people use a gift deed to explain the lump sum in their account, just like you present proof of sales of a property if a lump sum comes from the sale of an asset.
There is no minimum amount for a gift deed. However, a huge amount from a distant relative would be difficult to believe. |

Thanks for the reply Do u have any template for a sponsorship letter? YinksXO: No need for a gift deed, you're his sponsor and he's a minor therefore all funds should be in your account. You will also do a letter of sponsorship which you can have notorized. Hope this helps. |

Thank you so much for your reply Do not mind my frequent questions, I'm just being curious so as not to make any mistake in the application Contradicting to what you said,I saw alot of posts here on nairaland with people saying they submitted a gift deed. Me not including a gift deed for my son. Would it mean because he's a minor. Crystal10395: There's no need to gift anything |

Good afternoon everyone,
I registered my business name on CAC's website on the 4th of September 2019 of which it was active then. So today I decided to check the validity of my CAC certificate prior to my son's study visa application, but surprisingly my business was tagged as inactive. Would this be a problem to my son's application? as I am his sponsor. If yes how can this issue be resolved |

Finally someone I can relate with, Hi @Tcrown2020 our cases are almost similar, I also have a 16 year old son who would be 17 by June he recently wrote his waec examination last year, although I haven't applied. But we're already gathering the documents required for his application Tcrown2020: Good day my people . Thanks for all your advices on this platform . I intend to start gathering our visa documents .fir by 17 year old . Please, could you confirm if the following are in order? 1) sponsors _ mum & dad ( both will sign sponsor letters & provide bank SOA) 2) dad is a fed civil servant 3) mum has a Nur & Pry school but the Cac cert is showing inactive on Cac portal . Does this matter to the VO ? 4) Does Survey & building plan of a house in Ibadan suffice as home ties or we need a valuation report ? 5) Will copies of vehicle particulars @ 2 Highlanders suffice ir we need a valuation report ? 6) I read on IRcc site that she wi require a guardian in Canada. Must the guardian be in same city as the school or just have to.be in same province . ? Thanks. |
