It is better to let her know the truth before you get yoked together.
PoliticsRe: Welcome To The Real Lagos- Has BBC Seen This? by hbabe(f): 3:19pm On Jul 14, 2010
Transportation in Lagos used to really bad and jumping into vehicles from windows was quite common in those days but since the danfo buses and BRT buses commenced operation things have really been good. People no longer fight to board buses, instead they queue nicely.
That picture exagerates things a bit.
PoliticsRe: Ibb Is Still The Only Aspirant That Can Solve The Problems O F This Country by hbabe(f): 3:09pm On Jul 14, 2010
IBB already had his chance and I am sure we have many other Nigerians who want to have a go at 'solving' our problems. Our main problem is corruption and I am sure IBB is the wrong candidate to assist us.
PoliticsRe: Bbc Again! In Pictures: Going To School By Canoe In Nigeria by hbabe(f): 3:05pm On Jul 14, 2010
A caring government would have to distribute life jackets to every family in the riverine area because these same kids go fishing in the canoe early in the morning before going to school.
PoliticsRe: Police Chief Gives Kidnappers 24hrs To Free Journalists by hbabe(f): 2:58pm On Jul 14, 2010
I wonder what the IG of police will do if the kidnappers refuse to release the journalists. Should we expect war? grin

justdtruth:
a look at the pictures on the bbc website puts a smile on my face. i couldnt get many details but am trying to figure out that location in the lekki area. the journalist wants a selling point and thats the reason for the use of going to school by canoe. if it were going to be a report on the northern part of the country, then it will be gong to school by donkey.

hey, the water is like land to the people of this country who live in the river and lagoon areas and they take pleasure in the ways they relate with it. what would you expect of someone who practically lives on water. if you live on an island where there is no school, i wonder how you will get to one if not by canoe or oh a boat if in the uk, i beg make them leave us or na we no go mind them oyinbo.

i hear someone talk of safety and i laugh in pigin. safety! when the day you are born, you will be immersed in the water as a baptism and confirmation as a true son or daughter of the water. do you wonder why nobody remembers any accidents?
Very true. I see nothing wrong with going to school by paddling a canoe, its akin to riding in a molue in Lagos. These kids live on water and learnt to swim before they could walk so the case of drowing is very minimal; just as cases of dying through motor accidents on the way to school for kids going to school with the school bus or private vehicles.
Maybe if we were more developed the government will make boats available to take the kids in the riverine areas to school and back.
RomanceRe: Would You Choose Your Partner's Personal Assistant? by hbabe(f): 10:27am On Jul 04, 2010
I don't subscribe to selecting my partner's PA, I am of the belief that personal/private life shouldn't interfere with business life. Except of course I am an active part of the business i.e. I work in the office in HR capacity.
RomanceRe: The Bride Or The Groom Who Is More Happier? by hbabe(f): 10:06am On Jul 04, 2010
Both should be equally happy but the guy's happiness is distrupted by sad thoughts of the bills.
Its a man's world afterall.

She may like you or she may just be scared of you. Why not ask her out and confirm her feelings.
