I have not come to argue but whether you like it or not, there is God. God and humans are just like Nairaland and it members. I’m doing this because I don’t know if anyone reading this is questioning his faith and the existence of God.


1. While Seun is god of Nairaland and has control and all power to do anything with Nairaland.

Almighty God is the God of heaven and earth and has power to do anything to the earth.

2. Nairaland is an Internet world of its own called Nairaland.

The earth is a universal world of its own called earth.

3. On Nairaland, you register, pick a name and become a member.

On earth, you are born, given a name and you become a human.

4. Seun has all the power to even destroy nairaland but gave it members the power to only comment and edit.

God has the power to even destroy the earth but only gave humans the power to only grow and reproduce.

5. Every comment you make on Nairaland is recorded, you can't delete but you can edit.

Everything you do on earth is recorded. The consequences of your actions can't be deleted but can be edited when you ask for forgiveness and seek repentance.

6. You're rewarded on Nairaland for your good and great comments with Likes and shares but you're punished for your bad conduct with a ban(non existence)

You are rewarded by God for every good actions you do on earth by the reward in heaven but you're punished for your bad actions by being thrown to hell.(non existence)

7. Seun is the god of Nairaland and has his helpers called moderators.

God is the God of heaven and earth and has His helpers called angels.

8. Seun and his moderators monitor our conducts and give help when we ask.

In heaven, God and his angels monitor our conduct and give help when we ask in prayer.

9. On Nairaland, you don’t behave anyhow. There’re rule governing your conduct as stipulated before you comment.

On earth, you don’t behave anyhow, there’re rules governing your conduct as stipulated by the Bible.

10. On Nairaland, every good thread you create secretly is pushed to the front page for everyone to see.

On earth, your good did you do in the secrete will be made obvious for everyone to see.

11. On your Nairaland profile, the time you spend on Nairaland is recorded.

On earth, the time you spend on earth is recorded.

12. On Nairaland, you will get tired one day and decide to leave Nairaland, leaving behind your threads and comment you labored for and for others to read.

On earth, you will one day get old, tired and die, leaving behind everything you labored for and for others to inherit.



The only difference is that the god of Nairaland is not worshiped but the God of heaven and earth is worshiped.

Brother is predicting here. I only shared the message given to me by God and try to match it with what the scripture says and draw our attention to what is happening. Prediction is done in game of football not with word of God.

Many inventors and scientists believed in God.
Nobody is condemning science. Its just a study of what God has done.
Some people may take it to the extreme, even Darwin believed in God, he started theory of evolution based on assumption.
Some other people took it to the extreme from there.

Evolution and big bang will forever remain theories.
Simple, because they contradict the very foundations of science. They contradict the laws of thermodynamics.
If not, they would have become laws or principles long ago.

You need to understand that I don't worshipping a god that is subjected to my reasoning or anyone else's or otherwise he wouldn't be God.
You want to know him invite him in, or else nothing can convince you in this world.
There are different type of knowledge
Your type of knowledge is sensual( depending on faculties)
God type of knowledge is revelational knowledge ( divine) it comes through God's intervention not man. It is the highest form of knowledge.
You can get the proof directly from him not me or anybody.

It's difficult to justify intelligent design rationally. What intelligent designer creates billions of stars just so that he can create life on a single planet revolving around one of the stars? What intelligent designer creates a nerve that travels from a giraffe's brain to its chest and back to it's throat - a distance of several meters - instead of just connecting it directly? Which intelligent designer designs ugly, horrible diseases? It's difficult to justify intelligent design rationally if you know the basics of evolution and cosmology. It's absolutely hilarious, frankly.


You cannot logically prove to me the non-existence of a super-hero, yet you would consider me crazy if I told you that I met Superman last night. Atheists don't necessarily have a strong belief in the non-existence of God, just as you don't have a strong belief in the non-existence of super heroes. We just think it is illogical to believe in any God unless there is good evidence that the God in question actually exists, just as you wouldn't believe that super-heroes are real and I met one unless I presented you with some really strong evidence to support my claim.


Atheism actually doesn't need to make the society a better place. I don't believe things because I think believing them will make the society better. I believe things because I have good reasons to believe that they are in fact, true. For example, I believe that the sky is blue. Because when I look at the sky, it's blue. When I take pictures of the sky, it's blue in those pictures. Whether it makes the world a better place or not is completely irrelevant to the fact that the sky is blue. I can see it, other people can see it, and it's clearly blue. End of story. Full stop.

Where the value of atheism lies is that it allows you to employ critical thinking in every area of your life. If you're religious, there are some thoughts you cannot engage in because they contradict your religious beliefs. You are constantly shielding yourself from any knowledge that contradicts the holy dogma you subscribe to. You're required to accept some highly illogical ideas because they are written in holy books. Even if rationally you know those ideas are wrong, you have to engage in disingenuous mental gymnastics to justify them. When you become an atheist, that enormous mental burden is lifted from your shoulders. Everything in your life suddenly makes perfect sense. You're free!

What I want people to embrace is not atheism per se, but reality. If most people in society are making decisions based on reality, they will make better decisions, and society will move forward collectively as a result of that. You won't have things like women dressing like ninjas under the hot desert sun; little girls fainting from the heat and still being forced to keep their ninja attires on. Children being called witches.

What an average Nigerian need is proper education not hopelessness in form of atheism

Try to imagine the majority illiterate Nigerians having the mentality of most of the atheist on here, and imagine what state Nigeria will be in - I laugh in China. They make it seem like atheism is one savior the whorld needs.
